Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo
    Shirley N.

I was craving some Indian food in Cleveland and this one did not disappoint! The samosas were nice and crispy and the included sauce kicked it up a notch! The chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo looked like small portions at first, but there was definitely enough meat/substance in the curries, and just less sauce for dipping naan. When I placed my takeout order over the phone, I appreciated that they told me the approximate time that the food would be ready before I ordered. They also asked the spice level that I would like my food to be-- I asked for medium spice and they definitely delivered that!! P.S. The garlic naan was tasty!!!!

Cleveland Tiffin serves fresh, homemade indian food that is both tasty and healthy. Forget the cream laden curries filled with bad calories you get served at most indian restaurants and welcome to authentic food from the kitchen of an Indian mother. I love both styles of Indian food and each has its' time/place to be enjoyed. I got the bangain bartha (eggplant) and saag paneer (spinach cheese). Both were delicious and well spiced. Cleveland Tiffin is truly a hole-in-the-wall. Located in a desolate, nondescript complex, the interior of the place is unfinished with cheesy art pieces on the wall. Old school bollywood music playing transported me to the '90s. There are a few tables, but takeout food is the entire business. You come here for the quality of food and nothing else. I spoke briefly with the owner of Tiffin. He mentioned they are looking to launch a food truck in Cleveland next summer. Fingers crossed, would be a welcome addition to the scene!

In town on business. Relied on Yelp to find great Indian food for dinner, it didn't disappoint. I ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. All were delicious. The samosas were crunchy and full of flavor. The butter chicken was as good as I have had throughout the U.S. The staff was friendly and we had a good conversation.

KadhI pakora (left), shahi paneer (right), aloo paratha, and vegetable samosa. All super delicious.

Food was good. Owners were nice. The ambiance could use some work but not bad for a hole in the wall in Cleveland. Def recommended.

Amazing food and service. We've tried nearly every Indian restaurant in the area and this is by far the best. Order the butter chicken.

I came with a large group- 11 other women from a foodie women's group I am a part of - for a birthday celebration in August 2026. We made reservations in advance and didn't have any trouble finding availability for that day and time. The interior is very large and there is lots of seating. We had a designated server who took our orders and waited on us and he was very friendly! I didn't buy a drink but I tried a friend's mango lassi which was so creamy and rich! I thought about getting myself a masala chai but was too cheap to. I ordered myself a basket of tandoori roti which was glazed with butter ($4) to start off with. Others at my table ordered appetizers as well, including someone who bought a flight of pani puri. This flight made for great pictures! For my main, I got the Pubjabi chicken dish, medium spice, which came with a side of basmati rice ($20). Everyone who tried sone of my dish loved it, as did I! I was very happy with my choice. I also had enough for leftovers, although granted, I was filled up on roti bread. To our surprise, our waiter surprised us all with two servings of their signature Indian dessert, gulab jamon, for a complimentary birthday treat! I love gulab jamon, which are small honey balls of spongey cake, and have had them many times before. The gratuity was included automatically due to the size of our party. My check came out to about $32, which is not bad for how good the food and the service was! I highly recommend dining here for yourself. There's plenty of room for large parties!

This place serves up some tasty fusion vittles. We requested two different lassis - the mango and the sweet. They were both very tasty. We were also given water. For dinner, we requested tandoori chicken pizza, Amritsari fish fry, and hariyali kabob. A little while later, the food arrived. It looked really appetizing. The hariyali kabobs had an incredible flavor and the fruity, spicy sauce was delicious. Loved those. The fish fry was tasty and also came with a yummy sauce. The pizza had a great flavor as well and I really liked it. I would like to try other pizzas and other dishes. We'll definitely be back because this place has a menu worth exploring. Yum! Our server was incredibly friendly.

I got the butter chicken ($17.99), and my friend and I split the masala dosa ($14.99). The butter chicken had a rich, creamy, flavorful sauce, and the pieces of chicken were tender. I ordered the dish with a mild level of spice, and it was perfect for my tastebuds. The chicken was served with a bowl of basmati rice, and I thought it made for a filling, satisfying dinner. The masala dosa was also delicious. The slightly tangy crepe had crispy edges while also being pleasantly soft and spongey. It was filled with well-seasoned potato masala and served with some delightful sauces. Service was a bit on the slow side, but the staff was friendly and kind enough to give us a complimentary refill of rice. We paid our bill at the front desk when we were done.

My friends and I ordered a ton of food: the paneer 65 appetizer (my favorite thing we ordered!), the samosa chaat, veggie korma, malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, and a bread basket. Everything was great, though the korma was a bit sweet for me. The server didn't ask for our preferred spice level , so I assume everything was mild. But it was very delish and the right level of spice for me (except for the korma). Only not a 5 star review because our server seemed pretty grumpy and unhappy haha but a gentleman whom I believe was the owner came over multiple times to ask how our food was and recommended some dishes for us as it was our first time in. He was super friendly! Highly recommend checking this place out. I know I'll be back again soon!

Located in a stand alone building that was probably a Friendly's before the outside and the inside is pretty generic, nice and clean, but certainly no indication of what is being served. Honest is a vegetarian Indian restaurant with a menu that is different than any other Indian restaurant in the area. The menu runs a variety from versions of curries, sandwiches, Indo/Chinese and even pizzas. There are a number of items of Indian street food and the overall vibe is more of the kind of modern Indian casual restaurant you might actually find in India, which makes sense since this is a local franchise of a chain that started in India. Not surprisingly the times I have visited the clientele was primarily Asian. During my visits I have tried a number of items and while I found the sandwiches were good, what were my favorites were the curries and the Chinese style noodles. A number of the items were flavored with very authentic spicing so you need to be careful if you are hot spice sensitive; I really enjoyed the spiciness, but not everyone will. Overall Honest Restaurant is a great alternative to most of the other Indian restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is casual, the food is very good with some options not usually available, prices are moderate and service is good. Well worth a try especially if you are looking for something a bit different.

We agreed that Dar Alyemen has the best middle eastern food we've found so far! The inside space is average - not good or bad. They have a prayer room for Muslim customers which I think is great. They do have a very nice patio with several types tables - I think one type was a rocking chair table. It would be nice on a good day but it was storming when we went. The service was fine - there was just one guy who was working in the dining area and there was only one other table occupied when we were there. The wait for the food wasn't very long. We shared the a half chicken mandi, beef shish kabob, and baba ghanoush with pita. The chicken mandi was delicious. The chicken was so flavorful and tender - fell off the bone. It was on a bed of yellow rice with chunky stewed vegetables. It was perfectly seasoned. We also shared the beef shish kabob that was grilled to perfection - the perfect amount of seasoning and char and was so juicy! Lastly, we shared the baba ghanoush with the biggest pita I've ever eaten. The pita was so yummy - they brought it to us fresh out of the oven! The baba was so creamy and smoky - it had the perfect balance of flavors. They had some desserts but we were too full to try them. I will definitely be returning to try some other delicious dishes!
