The food is always delicious and the service warm and welcoming. We decided to have our Easter dinner there this year and it was an absolute delight.

This spot is a diamond in the rough. I'll go out of my way to eat here anytime I'm even a little nearby.

I ordered the Kabash meat and the Zurbian meat. I know one of them is lamb and the other, I think is beef. I was not expecting the plates to be 5lbs each! The portions were HUGE! The dishes were presented well! I told the chef that it was my first time trying Egyptian food and he was the nicest chef ever! He gave me a ton of free things to try!!! I was just speechless! The hospitality is outstanding! This is of course one of those "hole in the wall" kinda place! The restaurant is small, but the dishes and flavors will make you come back and try the other dishes! The texture of the meat is so tender and both will give you a mouth full of flavor! It's is one of a kind FOR SURE! Both dishes were so colorful and the spicy sauce and yogurt goes hand in hand with each other! The desserts were outstanding! The cake-like dessert was sweet but not overpowering! I think it has cassava in it if I'm not mistaken. The flan looking dessert seemed like a hybrid between a flan and a cheesecake. I wasn't expecting the bottom part of it to have a fruity -crumbly texture to it! It was an excellent way to end a heavy meal! Your tummy will thank you and I promise you won't be disappointed! You can really tell the chef puts a lot of heart into it. There was only one chef cooking there! He was the best and I can't wait to try the rest of his dishes! I over ate and was not expecting to eat this much! I know for sure I will be eating this deliciousness the next 3 days! Haha If you haven't tried this place yet, please come over or use Grub hub or Uber eats and have someone deliver it to you!

A real home meal that will warm up your soul. Also, the portions are super generous and we would have had plenty if we had shared just one plate. Located on the east side, this little gem is not in the nicest of neighborhoods but don't let that fool you. The food here is outstanding. Parking is limited and more can be found on the side street next to the building. It appears that more people order out here than eat in, but that just meant that we had better service. Our waitress, Sarah, was friendly and warm. We explained that we had never eaten Yemenite food before and she made some great recommendations. Sparsely furnished, the interior was clean, quiet and cool. We ordered the hummus with bread to start, and the soup. My husband had the lamb haneeth and I had the chicken Mandi. He enjoyed a limeade (it reminded us of a non-alcoholic mojito) and I had hot tea. We are already planning our next. Is it back and who to bring with us. The food was delicious, the meat was tender, we had tons of left overs, and the hummus and bread were some of the best we've ever had.

The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, and they have not had any issues answering questions on food or taking very small edit requests. The food is always incredible-especially my favorite, the shish tawook! You can taste the smokiness of the grill and the chicken is never dried out. The portions are great, you won't go away hungry (or you may even go home with some leftovers!). I like that on any given night, you can see a wide variety of diners: couples on a date, families with babies and/or toddlers, or people just there for a delicious dinner. I've seen a number of people come in for takeaway orders, so it looks like they do brisk business there as well. I just discovered this evening that they also do catering, so I took a catering menu home since this is the kind of food meant to be shared with loved ones, friends and family!

Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. I highly recommend when you're looking for a special place. Looking forward to coming back. PS: please donate to https://www.awakeningangels.org !

Honestly, I wasn't feeling the love. Our server did an admirable job all evening. The beverages were very good. The menu is extensive but not overly impressive. My wife enjoyed her walleye. Once we found the view it was nice but I didn't want to interrupt people at their tables. I don't want to be sour grapes. But it wasn't a great evening... Sorry.
