Freddy the owner handled the fabrication. Handyman and jack-of-all trades Randal Smith handled the plumbing de-install, carpentry, and faucet reconnect. They worked smoothly as a team including extended hours and weekends to get the job done. And cleaned up as they worked. We selected Calacatta River quartz (resembles high-end marble) for the kitchen with a single bowl stainless sink and Gemini non-porous quartz countertops for the baths with undermount porcelain sinks provided by Mount Juliet Granite and Quartz. We walked their on site supply of stone pieces with a sales person and lucked into a large quartz remnant that was a perfect color match for the stone we were using for the fireplace. Due to the size of the remnant, the final hearth had to be cut into 3 pieces. Each piece was perfect, artfully arranged, and, once the install was complete, the seams are virtually invisible. We were very happy with the service, support and product from IntelliStone, and would very much recommend them. Service appointments were on time, communication good, every aspect of their support was reliable, professional, and quality.

The designer I talked to there could not have been more rude. She first interrupted me as I was explaining what I was looking for to say that the minimum fee would be a $1000. I said that was fine, but then asked if that included remnants she then rudely said that if I wanted a 1" by 1" square of granite, it would be $1000. I thought ok, as I did need quite more than that... I then showed her pictures of the project explaining how there was granite in the adjoining kitchen that I knew would be impossible to match so I wanted something noticeably different but coordinating. She quickly said that she recognized the granite I had, so I said, "oh really, do you perhaps have some of that on hand?" Here's condescending response was that they might, but they generally only install it in very old homes. I then asked if we could take a look at their remnants outside, to which I was told I needed to sign a waiver to walk out there with her and literally said, "if a piece of granite falls on you, it's your fault not ours, so please don't sue us." Once outside she indicated a remnant as the one I currently have, you know the one only old, outdated homes have... I looked and it was nothing like the granite I had shown her in my pictures, nit even remotely similar. Not sure why I was even still talking to this woman, but I looked at all they had outside which consisted of mainly whites, Grey's and blacks. i was looking for warmth... both in terms of color scheme and personality. Honestly, at tgat point if I had found exactly what I wanted, there is no way I would have done business with them. Thankfully, IntelliStone has competition in Franklin. 10minutes later I was talking to the most friendly and helpful lady at The Granite Place who took me back into their shop so I could see everything they had (no waiver by the way). They had very nice selection and were very accommodating. Sorry I even wasted my time at IntelliStone. It will never happen again, nor would I ever recommend them.

I initially opted to wash my hands of this company and not leave a review but after finding out…read morefrom a friend they'd posted photos of our home on Facebook as examples of their work, I felt the need to chime in. The final paint job is not their work, it's mine, because his crew did a horrible job on it. Paint on the ceiling, all over the vanities in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. I repainted and repaired nearly every surface they touched because whatever compound they used to patch holes started peeling from the walls (although they hadn't sanded or properly patched to begin with...merely painted over leaving huge marks all over our walls. Some holes weren't even patched and some screws were left sticking out--see pics.) Not to mention the fact you neglected to install gaskets on every single water fixture--three new faucets and all three leaked. Two new tub fixtures and both moved and had to be repaired after you left without completing a final walkthrough. My dad found two of the three drain pipes for the sinks leaking in the vanities. In the upstairs bathroom they'd actually installed the wrong size gasket. And they weren't just a little off; it was twice the size it should have been but instead of going out to buy the correct size to do it right, they shoved it in and left it. A toilet your crew left marked up with a black, hardened mess, deep scratches on our closet doors, terrible install on our kitchen backsplash? Even the small refund you ultimately paid us doesn't account for the time and work and additional contractor we had to bring in to fix what you did. Brand new vanities weren't covered before they painted, paint left on our new tile because they didn't cover the floor or take care around the shower surrounds--very basic things that ANY contractor should do, they didn't. They actually left a couple of trim pieces simply propped up against the wall and never bothered to attach them! A few weeks later, I was washing dishes at my kitchen sink and heard water trickling in the ceiling above me. After calling my husband down and trying to figure out what was going on, he suggested I go upstairs into the second bathroom All Trades renovated and pour water into the overflow drain. Sure enough--there was a huge splashing sound in the ceiling above him. Lucky for Jim and All Trades, we discovered their improper install before it was too late and yet another leak caused major water damage. I do NOT recommend this company. I also suggest you consider removing the photos of our home from your social media accounts as they do not accurately reflect the quality of your work.
