Took my 2007 4Runner in for a coolant leak. They charged $175 just to diagnose the leak, which was…read morethe upper hose, (which was a new Toyota part). They explained that the wrong non-Toyota clamps had been used and were overtightened (My oversight). They needed to keep my car overnight (huge inconvienence) because they didn't have a hose in stock (Really?) They then installed a new hose for $133 and performed a coolant flush for $179. There was an unexplained coolant conditioner fee of $39. Then after paying $475, I went out to check the car and they had installed the new hose with the non-Toyota universal clamps! Apparently, the service writer didn't know that clamps had to be ordered separately. I am beyond frustrated with lack of communication between the service writer and the techs and for the excessive costs for minor service. All would have been OK if they had done the repair correctly, now I have to bring it back another time, or take it somewhere else to be fixed correctly. Bottom line, if you're not in warranty, find another place to take your car.

My friend was looking for a RAV4 hybrid and went to Bennett. The sales person told her he could…read morefind what she wanted. The next day he called with 2 identical cars that were available and she went to the dealership and put down a deposit, made arrangements to pick it up 4 days later, and did everything to get ready for anew car. The afternoon before she was topick it up she was told that they never picked up thecar and it had been sold. No dealership should take your deposit money then fail to go get the car. Bennett really dropped the ball. They think they might be able to order one in a month or so. If I could give them a zero I would. This is not the first time that this has happened with Bennett failing to secure a car that they said was available.

WARNING: BUYERS BEWARE Be extremely cautious when dealing…read morewith these people. They are incredibly friendly and reassuring before the sale, but once the deal is done, their promises suddenly mean nothing. I recently purchased a 2013 Mercedes G550 from them. Before making the trip from Boston, MA, I specifically asked about the condition of the vehicle, especially the differential locking system, because I did not want to waste my time traveling for a vehicle with known issues. I was repeatedly assured that everything on the vehicle was working perfectly. That turned out to be completely false. After making the trip and purchasing the vehicle, I discovered that the differential system was not functioning properly. When confronted, they promise they would take care of it. They never did. As I spent more time with the vehicle, I uncovered additional issues that were never disclosed before the sale. To make matters worse, I paid them more than $3,500 to handle the paperwork and registration process. Months went by and nothing was done. After waiting two months, I was forced to handle the paperwork myself. When they finally refunded my money, they withheld more than $350 without justification. Throughout this entire process, they admitted their mistakes in text messages and repeatedly promised to make things right, repair the vehicle, and reimburse the money they owed me. None of those promises were honored. Their actions speak much louder than their words. In my experience, once they have your money, their customer service and integrity disappear. Do not be fooled by the friendly sales pitch and promises. Make sure everything is verified in writing, and inspect any vehicle thoroughly, also get in writing any promises or agreements they tell you before handing over your money. I would never do business with them again. They are the perfect example of "used car salesman talk"...they are experts on "Bait-and-switch". Avoid them at all cost!!
