We came for a happy hour on Thursday! And they also have special 10$ drinks for gals and gays on Thursday. They do offer valet parking and that's great! The service is good and the food is not bad! Good quality for the money. I do have to give them 4 stars as the place look worn off, there is dust on the artificial plants and some cracks in the leather seating which ruins the aesthetic but does look as the place is busy and loved on.

Great HH & great deals on Thursdays! Plenty of options on the menu, free valet, good music, and the servers were attentive and gave great suggestions.

Our local favorite cocktail lounge!! Always a must after dinner, they do get busy so make sure to have a reservation if you don't want to wait on the weekends. Staff are always friendly and drinks are potent

The Clifton Club is a great cocktail bar in the Fitzhugh/Travis area. Inside, there are two areas: a more classic bar area and a more laid back lounge area. We were in the lounge area and really enjoyed how laid it back was. The interior inside has a really neat retro yet chic aesthetic that fit in well with the idea behind the bar. We went for happy hour and got a french 75 and dark and stormy. Both cocktails were excellent and the ten dollar price was a plus. Many people around us got food (a lot of great options on the happy hour menu) and it all looked incredible. We enjoyed our time here and plan to come back again. It is also right next to Beverleys which makes it a nice pairing for drinks at the Clifton Club then dinner at Beverleys.

Any cocktail lounge with a food happy hour is going to make my list of recommendations! The bar is quite small with a few bigger tables but is mostly for more intimate settings like 2-4 people. We came on a Wednesday happy hour reservation for 6PM and got a multitude of drinks and food. Starting with the spicy tuna crispy rice, mozzarella sticks, a French 75 and margarita. From there we ordered the "adult happy meal" and steak frites which on Wednesday all day comes with steak frites & a club martini for $40. While I will always enjoy steak frites as, what's not to love... I was pleasantly surprised by this dish. The peppercorn sauce may be my favorite I've had across Dallas, and the filet was cooked perfectly. Excited to spend another weeknight steak frites here or stop by for more cocktails.

In thinking about my experience specifically I have to say it's a 2.5-3/5. However, my friends had a 4-5/5 experience for sure. I came here with several friends that wanted to "go out" for a birthday celebration. I don't like staying up late but my friend made the res for 9:30p because we had dinner first, so that was already working against me (but ofc not the bar's fault). We came on a sat in August and and we were seated in a booth area, which was fine. The place itself however was PACKED, and it was quite loud. I was shouting at my friends to talk to them even though we were in that booth. The waiter came pretty fast and had good recs/got our orders down fast so props for that! However we weren't checked on again; I don't discredit the staff because it was just SO busy in there, but it wasn't the kind of experience I like when having drinks. I got the "midnight tea" which is a lemon/honey/lavender drink which sounded kind of like a bees knees to me, but there was zero lavender flavor, it just tasted like lemon and honey. It was good, just not what Id hoped for since I love floral flavors, and reminded me a bit of a boozy version of a drink I have when I am sick. My friend decided she wanted our group to move to the outdoor patio which was thankfully MUCH quieter than inside so no more yelling, but had several people smoking. On the way from the booth to the patio it was also so packed a very tall/big guy backed up into me and stepped right on my foot - that took a lot of whatever fun I was having down about 10 notches. I also have asthma and have become very sick from cigarette smoke exposure so I ended up sitting inside for intermittent periods whenever someone lit up while my friends were on the patio. I really wish there was a no-smoking patio area :( The bathrooms were clean but there were only two and the lines got quite long. Incidentally because I had to wait inside so many times because of smokers, I ended up Hanging out in the bathroom line area (no seats anywhere else, since it was so packed). My friends stayed at the bar until around 1:30am - and it was still packed when we left. It isn't my vibe at ALL, but my friends had a great time. Wish they had spaces a little more accommodating. One excellent thing: they have a free valet! Props for that too. Overall: the only way I'd come back to Clifton club is for early drinks (like maybe 5:30ish) on a weeknight. My experience on a late Saturday was actually pretty disappointing. But again, this is just me - my friends had a great time and loved their drinks (most of them got espresso martinis and said they were some of the best they've ever had).

It was everything I hoped and expected! From the moment I arrived the staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the ambiance of the place: very chill with a splash of glam. So many good drink options and if you're doing no booze, a great mocktail selection as well. Loved the happy meal concept! It was very cute. Very demure. Very delicious. There was a DJ, but we left before he got started. All-in-all I would highly recommend this place. It honestly is a great spot for a first date, a night out with friends, or a celebration! I need to go back and explore the menu a bit more!

Clifton club is super cozy but also spacious. The patio was my favorite, it has super comfy couches and a fireplace which is a nice touch. The valet was prompt. The service was solid, and the drinks were good too. The music was just fine, it leaned more toward house, which I personally didn't enjoy but if that's your vibe you would love it! Overall, it's a cool spot to hang out with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

Had the best time ! We went on a Sunday night for trivia at 7pm. It's a small little space and can get crowded (highly recommend making a reservation). We sat at the bar, but we had so much fun. We ordered mozzarella sticks to share and it came with spicy ranch and spicy marinara sauce, so good! For our entrees, I ordered the spicy tuna fried rice, it was very tasty and fresh. My friend ordered the steak frites with fries and they both were booked to perfection. The fries have a good crispy and seasoning to them. They are a little pricy but overall I feel like they are both the cost and the vibes of the space is nice! Will definitely be returning again !

Clifton club has an exclusive atmosphere and an inclusive staff. With amenities like valet parking and nearby nightlife, you never need to worry about being safe. Whether this is your first stop or last, the staff is incredible and the vibe is vibing. It can be loud here, and if you have LOOP earplugs - wear them. Save yourself from the ringing. Thursday nights are super fun with live music, drink specials, and celebrations for girls/gays/theys (LGBTQ+ friendly). Give Clifton Club another visit. Whether you've been or not, I'd recommend the food, the drinks, and the seated space. You won't be disappointed.

We ultimately decided to just ask for our check and to our surprise, some of the things we ordered were never noted on the bill-- great, but what a bummer of an experience for our first time. Whatever food made it out to our table was good and it came out in a timely fashion. Ambiance seemed to have more of a "clubish" feel with a DJ set up in a corner and the scene becoming more lively as the night went on. I've read a lot of other reviews for this business that have confirmed my doubts. It seems like Lounge 31 has potential to return to what it once was. Perhaps giving it another chance in the future may bring promising new perspective.

At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay.
