One of the cutest themed bars with rooftop seating as well! The drinks are pretty strong and not sweet. These drinks will definitely get you a bit tipsy. The menu is a little overwhelming with all the ingredients listed so I would recommend asking for a recommendation. Service was great during the day. A must visit for the cute decor.

Stumbled upon Lower Greenville upon a recommendation of a Dallas native. We drove from downtown to this area. Hide is located in the center of the Lower Greenville neighborhood. This area is known for Greenville Avenue, a lively dining and nightlife strip packed with trendy bistros, tequila bars and convivial patios hung with festive lights. Hide has two levels and the rooftop patio looks very inviting. We came early afternoon so that area wasn't open but Happy Hour was in full swing. Happy hour has a variety of drinks and food items. We got the the smash burger and crispy artichoke for food. The burger was really delicious. The crispy artichokes were too greasy. The drinks were super tasty. My husband grabbed an old fashion and he ordered me the Mai tai. Both cocktails on HH but you had to pay for the premium ice cube for the old fashioned which was used for 2 drinks. My husband liked the fact that they engraved their initial into the ice cube. Very good experience at this bar. Our bartender was engaging and had some awesome red tattoos. Wish I could give her a shoutout because her drinks were made with care. Check this spot out if in the area. I would hands down recommend this establishment.

If you are looking for a fun rooftop bar and patio in Dallas, then head upstairs to Hide Bar! This bar has a great cocktail and food menu, as well as TV's that you can watch sports on. We ordered the garlic rosemary popcorn...perfect snack for a table to enjoy while sipping on beverages. With over 30 signature cocktails, there is something on the menu for everyone in your party to enjoy. Although we didn't order entrees, this spot is an all-scratch kitchen and offers brunch on the weekend. The views from the patio are great and the service was on-point. If you are looking for a fun rooftop bar/patio in Dallas, check out the Hide Bar!

I only had drinks and dessert here but definitely enjoyed the experience. The music and ambience are good, service was great, and the skillet chocolate chip cookie with ice cream is made fresh. Looking forward to grabbing dinner here.

A staple in Lower Greenville opposite of the name Hide this place stands out. The venue has great lighting and the booths are a great place to dine with Family or Friends. Let me not forget to mention the MUSIC it is always ON POINT. The service is hit or miss in regards to the server who is assigned to your table. My experience on the several visits is that I had better interactions with the staff not taking care of our table . They tend to check in more and are very friendly. I haven't tried a lot from the menu but what I've tried has all been well made and fulfilling . My children favorite item is the nachos which I must admit are good but they need to figure a better way to add cheese as the cheese is nice but it isn't melted well. The various toppings are good that they have to accompany the nachos especially the pickled onion and guacamole. My friend tried the burger and enjoyed it. The Happy Hour is well priced and there are good options. Give HIDE a try

Ok so yes it was festive with decoration but the food was just mehhhh. Honestly, you can go to Wisconsin, Colorado or many other places and it is normal for establishments to decorate for the holidays. Not sure why Dallas is having these "pop ups" as they are calling them acting like it's something new, never done, and special and then charge out the wazooo for not that great of food or drinks. Be warned the drinks were tiny with extravagant price tags. Then on top of it all they automatically charge a 20% gratuity even if it is just two people.

Cool happy hour spot!! We didn't get drinks but we each got the double cheeseburger ($8). Portion was huge and it was good. The fries were so salty so that would be my only warning about it. Our service was super quick and the inside had so much booth, bar, or rooftop seating.

Ive only been there for brunch but it was great every time! Mimosas are only $5 on the weekends and their food is solid. The hangover burger is one of the best burgers in Dallas IMO. Not sure how it is during the evening but would highly recommend for a nice weather day patio brunch.

We came here for happy hour, and they was already decorated for X Mas! It is a cool little laid back spot for drinks appetizers.

We love Hide at the Holidays upstairs does Beach Bum Barry's Pop up and this year Hide did there own Holiday Pop up. Two different menus and different mugs to purchase. Crazy good cocktails and Santa Vibe. Only negative is they add an additional 20% gratitude to each bill not a problem when ordering food and drink. The servers deserve it and then some. But when buying mugs and merchandise adding 20% seems wrong.

Went to the hide holiday pop up with friends and did not have a good experience. We were here on Dec 18th at 5:30PM. The male server rolled his eyes when we asked for water and never brought any. The female server got us water right away when she heard, and wiped our dirty table. She was very nice! Our food was terrible. The pigs in a blanket were cold in the middle. The chicken lettuce wraps came without chicken :( and then when our server brought out chicken, the portion was small and not warm. Nothing worse than being grossed out by cold meat. Very disappointing... Thankfully, our server took the chicken wraps back to the kitchen and refunded us on those. Both items were $16 and we still paid for the pigs in a blanket. We do appreciate her! Not a servers fault the food was bad.

I went to this place based on the Yelp reviews and had a great time! There were so mixed reviews about service but I thought everything was top notch, especially the happy hour! They have quite a big selection of food and drink for happy hour and I enjoyed every bit of it. The drinks were deliciously crafted and topped with beautiful garnish. The rosemary popcorn was warm and oh so good! The nachos were topped with all sorts of yummy fixings! If I lived in the area I would be back to try out the other selections!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
