Great food. Well worth the wait. We sat at the bar. They have tvs with sports running. Pool Table, dominoes and live music and a nice lite atmosphere. I had the ox tails with rice and peas, with collards and Mac n cheese. Food was to delish. Had to force myself to stop eating just to have a snack for later. My girlfriend had the tilapia which was seasoned perfectly and cooked fresh. I ordered a batch of beef patties which were exactly what I expected. My favorite Jamaican spot! Love the bbq chicken !! So flavorful and tender. I get the collard greens or cabbage both seasoned well. Also I always get the sweet potatoes! BOMB!! I read these previous Yelp reviews today after ordering delivery from Uber Eats yesterday (where I also gave them 5 stars.) I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken, rice & peas, plantains & candied yams. The food was tasty & seasoned nicely. I liked the portion size too (especially compared to that well known franchise up the road in Fairburn who I gave 2 stars.) Enjoyed my first experience with this food though, I'd definitely order delivery again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This restaurant is not worth it at all, the food is disgusting and the service is horrible. When my friend and I entered we were not greeted or acknowledged. We sat at the bar and began to look at the menu, a lady walked up to us and didn't even say hi or anything, she looked at us and waited for us to tell her what we wanted. We both ordered oxtail, which came with rice and peas and a side. We ordered plantains as our side, I changed my mind and decided to get steamed vegetables and the lady rolled her eyes and turned around. It took about 10 minutes to get the food, the rice was watery, the oxtail had no taste and the vegetables were dry and stale. My friend didn't like her meal either, she said the plantains were the only decent thing. We were afraid to say anything to the lady because she was already so rude to us. Visiting my mother in law and we stopped here late night. My order was wrong but I didn't mind because what the gave to me I still would have eaten anyhow. However my food was nasty. I ordered curry shrimp and the white rice was soggy, the food was soooooo bland! It didn't even taste like it had a pinch of salt in it. Fantastic! We ordered through Doordash. Our order was Chicken Curry with rice and peas plus yams. The meal was absolutely delicious. Second meal was Oxtail and rice with cabbage and Mac and cheese. The fool is okay, not the best in this area. Prices are also not the best in this area. I have been here several times and the woman is very rude. I asked for gravy on my rice (common request) and she looked almost offended and said "if I use some of my gravy I'm charging you 2.00" I couldn't believe it. And the wait time is extremely long. The young lady kept going into the back and I saw food sitting there I assumed was mine but she never checked. I finally asked her to check and sure enough my food had been ready. Listen, you never know WHO you have in your restaurant. Now I understand why my friends say I look like my island folk. Just mean. We walk in, not a hi or hello. The man behind the bar act as if he didn't want to take our order. They look at you and see a yankee. He took our order and didn't ask if we wanted a drink or anything. I was arrived in Georgia a bit late for anything to be opened in this particular area. I noticed this was the only place (not fast food) still open so I gave it a shot. They did not disappoint! Great chicken curry! Short menu but they made it count in quality. If you're into curries.. give this place a shot. People are nice and the food doesn't disappoint. read more

Ordered through Ubereats and was looking forward to it. The jerk chicken was basically burnt and tasteless. The rice was over cooked and not seasoned, the cabbage was undercooked and everything was just disappointing. I'm mad that was my only meal all day and I couldn't even eat it at all and that I spent over $20 for it to just end up in the trash. Asked for gravy over my rice (I ordered a veggie plate) I didn't get it...he assumed that since it was $2.00 extra I didn't want it ....he breathed really hard as if he was bothered mind you no customers are in the building so he had nothing to do....I asked for cornbread as well and he asked me why didn't I asked for corn bread over the phone? Ordered a tilapia dinner. They asked how i wanted it and i chosed the steamed option because i didn't want it fried. It comed out with all these onions and okra on top. Never said this would have that on top. Mind you, i have had it before and it didn't have all of that on there. I order from them quite often here and there. They are usually good. I was pissed off. The fact that they were insisting it comes that when i know i have had it without and didn't have to specify pissed me off. So i asked to have it taken off. They scooped the okra off. My thing is you see I'm clearly upset about it, why not offer to redo it or give me fresh rice and remove all the stuff on top bc now the rice has taken on that taste and so has the fish. Then another person there tells me to "eat that okra girl". That's not how you handle an issue. Very upset and had to go get food from somewhere else. We were so relieved to find a cool spot like this in Fairburn during a recent business trip to fairburn. This place is sooo cool! A mix between a restaurant-bar-nightclub and event venue. I was so hopeful when I visited this restaurant. It was me and another person in my party. We walked in, sat at the bar and was not greeted by a single person. When the woman behind the counter did come to us she just stared and didn't say a word. My friend had to say, "Hey how are you?" to which she responded "Good" and then on top of that he had to ask for a menu. At that point we were over it and left. She actually had the nerve to ask why we were leaving. Because nobody that works there has any sense of customer service. When people decide to patronize your restaurant you should be grateful that we choose to spend our hard earned money at your establishment. I have been ordering food from this establishment for several months via uber eats. I wanted to know if it was ok to substitute the rice option for another side so I physically drove there to ask if that was something they did for future references and was instructed to leave that information in the notes section of the order. Today I placed an order and I wanted them to substitute the rice with cabbage which I left in the notes section and is visible on the print out. They did not comply when I called the store to let them know what happened and that there had been mishaps with my orders in the past the manager/owner was extremely rude to me. After I asked how he planned on making this right he refused to offer me any compensation /future discount or even an apology, yelling into the phone staying that I was belligerent when during the whole conversation he never once attempted to offer an apology. read more
