I had him come back a few weeks later for weatherization and insulation work. He worked all day getting a ton of things done. He sealed every air leak in our attic, installed baffles for air flow, insulated our vent ducting, re-routed and insulated bathroom ducting, found a couple things that weren't up to code which he fixed, and then blew in more insulation. The whole experience of working with Zach and Premium Efficiency was superb. Communication was quick and professional. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly. I was using an EWEB incentive program and Zach was great with the process; he knew exactly what they needed and was well versed in the process. It is clear that Zach is passionate about energy efficiency and takes great pride in his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work from a solid local company.

We weren't too worried as, through the showings, the home seemed to be very well maintained. Zach stopped by the home to perform the inspection and confirmed that the home was in great condition, but as with all homes, there were maintenance, repair, and installation recommendations. Going through the home buying process, we had more than our fair share of questions and clarifications, but Zach blew us away. The evening following the inspections, Zach sent us a thorough and detailed narrative of his findings. We expected to read over it, have no clue what half of it meant, and then have to have the inspector and our realtor disseminate all of it. We were ab-so-lutely wrong. Zach not only gave us recommendations on what we should have repaired, maintained, or installed, but he laid out where any issues were individually located (with photos and diagrams), whether or not repairs and maintenance should be done personally or by a professional, and best of all, it was all presented in simple, easy to understand terminology. Electrician arrives on time, and there are 2 of them, not 1. Work area was prepared, there was no other work to be done, and there were two plugs in one box. Total time 34 minutes. The 2nd guy stood around. The two electricians were pleasant and professional. From the time they pulled up, to getting back in the truck 45 minutes. Additionally they asked if they could place a sticker on my breaker box to show they were there if there was an inspection. Two plugs cost me $350.00 with my parts. They charged me for both people and $65.00 for the temporary permit. Talk about lack of transparency bordering on dishonest. We are hiring contractors for a remodel, and Cherry City will never be asked for a bid.

We went with Franklinwh brand of batteries to an existing solar array (they also do Tesla Powerwalls), and found the Franklinwh batteries have all sorts of bells and whistles and a great phone app. Our setup was unique...(2) 200 amp panels going to a total of 7 buildings spread over a couple of acres and when it came down to the finished product it works like it should.
