Typical souvenir shop. Good stuff. Not overpriced. Fudge is fudging. And connected to another gas station store with your regular snacks.

This is the only stop between Roswell and Santa Fe, and it's the only stop between Santa Fe and getting on I-40 East. We stopped for gas and drinks. They have tons of souvenirs, and shoes even. It's a big place. There's a subway too.

This is a fun place to stop and take a break from the road trip. Bathrooms were clean and have been upgraded since the last time I had stopped. Sure the souvenirs are pricy but this is a travel center after all. The overall place was pretty clean. It is PACKED with New Mexico items for purchase. I wish they focused more on the convenience part of the place because it is very lack luster. 2 really good pluses: Definately visit the hall by the bathrooms. Lots of fun Old Timey machines and games. Next, bags of ice are very reasonable considering it is in the middle of nowhere. I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because customer service needs some work, staff wasn't very friendly, and also because they need more convenience store items.

One of our favorite stops ! It's always pretty busy, so I do feel like they could use more pumps (but the wait isn't too long) they have plenty of parking too The bathrooms are clean and retro which is a fun change. The convince store section is a bit small but has all the usual stuff. The gift shop is where it's at ! They have tons of things from random dragon statues to state t-shirts to roswell alien things. It's a great place to kill some time or stretch your roadtrip legs. Things here can be pretty pricey but it is fun (we got small stickers for $3 each when they should be $1 )

6:00 am on the Interstate and I stopped here for restrooms which were in good condition. It's a full travel stop so I was able to get my first coffee of the day and use their free wifi that extended to the parking lot. That was helpful to start my workday with a few emails and such. Big space with lots of New Mexico and Southwest souvenirs - tshirts and sweatshirts and hats and other tchotchkes. There's even a display of locally made fudge for sale. My daughter and I stopped in on the way to Santa Fe and reviews on the Apple Maps says bathrooms are clean. I will have to disagree. The whole place smells like bathroom. And the bathrooms was a complete mess. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks or months

This place is a great in between spot to stop and get food and souvenirs. And also gas and to just stretch your legs. It's the last stop before Santa Fe coming from Texas way. Lots of nice T shirts and goodies. They also have what looks like home made fudge in different flavors.

This place was unique and adorable and in the middle of nowhere! We spent some time walking around and enjoyed it

    7 dollar burrito. Never again.

Horrible place. RV Park is even worse. Smells like human feces every time I pass by on 285. Prices are RIDICULOUS and food is horrible. You would think, as long as this place has been around, it would be a lot nicer by now.But I imagine there's a lot of drug problems involved with the families that own it. Stopped by today because I was terribly hungry and I'll never set foot in that place again after what they sold me as food.

This place is old and yes needs some updating. It's expensive but it's a fun place to stop at. They have lots of old school candy.

Lots of trash outside. Bathrooms dirty. The guy who was supposed to be cleaning it had no clue. Very expensive. $1.59 for a can of Sprite.

Dirtiest bathrooms I have ever been in! A lot of stalls had crap in them. People never bothered to flush.

We stayed here a year or so ago when they first opened and were the only ones at the park, but this time the place is almost completely full! They have many fifth wheels and tow campers here that are set up for long-term with big propane tanks and such. However, I will say it is one of the neatest and clean long-term Park we've seen along this trip. We paid $47 for this one night stay plus tax for full hook ups on a pull through site. They have a very nice laundry room that has six washers and six dryers for six dollars a load. You pay for the washer in the dryer is free. There is a workout room that is attached to that building as well with some equipment, including a treadmill, an elliptical and some weights however the weight pin was stuck so you couldn't adjust the weight. There was plenty of space if you needed to do any type of Pilates video or something, lots of room for that. There are really no trees or anything here and you are next to a farm so it was nice to wake up next to the cows. We did not really hear any highway noise, although it was quite windy last night. You book online and make sure you check your email the day you arrive as you will need all of the information in that email. It isn't a typical camp where you check in at an office, you're giving all the instructions and email including the gate code to access. The map of the facility is on their website so you can locate your space that you're assigned an email. There were three different Wi-Fi connections available, but we couldn't get any of them to work. When we called they said they had been having problems for over a week, no one had come out yet and the owner has been ill or something so if you need Wi-Fi, you may want to have an alternative solution. Verizon signal was just OK If you are traveling with horses, this is your perfect stop as they have stalls for horses!

After spending several hours in a rest area I contacted the Longhorn Ranch rv park to see if we could spend the weekend there until we could get our truck repaired. They were not officially open yet but said they would accommodate us with no problem. They met us on the back of a tow truck at night and directed us into their park. We met the whole family the next morning and they offered to help us any way possible which included repairing a major water leak in our plumbing. They also made arrangements to get the part we needed to repair our truck and suggested a competent repair shop close by to do the repair for us. We can't thank them enough for all the help they provided us and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stop there next year on our way through and visit the family. If you are travelling hwy 40 and need a great place to stop please make exit 203 your place for the night in New Mexico. Thank you again. Steve and Barb.

When we got there, 2 staffers were at the office area and informed us we couldn't get a pizza and he store was closed due to 'winter' hours. Next time I won't trust what I read...but call ahead. I've been a loyal KOA member for quite a few years...this really dissapounted me. I've always felt good about staying at KOA's and never felt I had to 'call' to check if the advertising was correct!

The laundry had a great gallery of Route 66 images, the K9 fence was actually tall enough for our big pup, and the staff were friendly as you always hope. The game room was a nice bonus, but DVD lending libraries at the store and game room help if you need quieter camping back in your rig. We loved the free pinball! The social area outside the store was nice and shady, and the playground was adorable. We got to see a bluebird, and the park had some bird watching pics up front. BYO grown up drinks (and as always, don't act like a rookie), or enjoy the cold ones available at the store. Cute local souvenirs and camping supplies were plentiful, and that pizza oven kept going during our stay. It looks like they're busy adding more pull through sites, so we might get lucky enough for a longer stay next time. No pool, but you'll be busy with Santa Fe anyway. Las Vegas highway was a perfect connector to both the city and Pecos National Historic Park. Happy kid, happy pup, and happy us here at this KoA.

There is a bit of a bumpy road back to the campground, as others have mentioned, but we didn't find it too difficult at all. They were plenty of different site options, we had a full hook up, but we know that there are sites with water and electric only, etc. It was very quiet during our stay here, people would stop in for a night and move on, there's only a couple spots who look like they have people staying long-term Staff were very friendly, there's even a campground kitty or two The pool is not open yet, there is also a game room with a pool table, comfy couches, and some TVs We did laundry and everything worked as expected. It was two dollars for a wash and two dollars for a dry, so save up your quarters. They do offer a breakfast that is eight dollars per person, you do need to fill out the slip the night before and let them know you will be partaking, you can pick up breakfast to go or you can sit in the breakfast room They do tell you that they have low water pressure as it is due to the type of water they access, it is not city water it actually worked just fine for us, but then again there's not very many people here. All the other utilities worked fine during our stay. Only complaint would be Internet, I'm glad we had our Starlink with us as we could not stay connected to the campground Wi-Fi. We have to work a little so this was important. We did appreciate many of the mature trees that gave us some shade. There is a little playground for the kids, and in our opinion, the sites are far enough apart to have a little bit of privacy.
