The first thing I noticed when checking in was how very nice everyone working here is. Larry and Sharon are the couple who run it, and they are amazing! Billy and Mike are two very helpful and wonderful guys who you will find here too. Full hook-up RV and Tent camping is available. We just have a little tent and it is all we needed because they have a great clubhouse here, clean bathrooms with showers, laundry room, free wifi, and even free coffee in the morning if you like. The Moriarty area also offers a lot of great food choices, if that is important to you. Ask the staff where to go to eat, if you are a fan of bbq, they will tell you how to find a place with some of the best bbq you will find. We stopped for the night, but ended up spending a week. We stayed here a year or so ago when they first opened and were the only ones at the park, but this time the place is almost completely full! They have many fifth wheels and tow campers here that are set up for long-term with big propane tanks and such. However, I will say it is one of the neatest and clean long-term Park we've seen along this trip. We paid $47 for this one night stay plus tax for full hook ups on a pull through site. They have a very nice laundry room that has six washers and six dryers for six dollars a load. You pay for the washer in the dryer is free. There is a workout room that is attached to that building as well with some equipment, including a treadmill, an elliptical and some weights however the weight pin was stuck so you couldn't adjust the weight. There was plenty of space if you needed to do any type of Pilates video or something, lots of room for that. There are really no trees or anything here and you are next to a farm so it was nice to wake up next to the cows. We did not really hear any highway noise, although it was quite windy last night. You book online and make sure you check your email the day you arrive as you will need all of the information in that email. It isn't a typical camp where you check in at an office, you're giving all the instructions and email including the gate code to access. The map of the facility is on their website so you can locate your space that you're assigned an email. There were three different Wi-Fi connections available, but we couldn't get any of them to work. When we called they said they had been having problems for over a week, no one had come out yet and the owner has been ill or something so if you need Wi-Fi, you may want to have an alternative solution. Verizon signal was just OK If you are traveling with horses, this is your perfect stop as they have stalls for horses!

After spending several hours in a rest area I contacted the Longhorn Ranch rv park to see if we could spend the weekend there until we could get our truck repaired. They were not officially open yet but said they would accommodate us with no problem. They met us on the back of a tow truck at night and directed us into their park. We met the whole family the next morning and they offered to help us any way possible which included repairing a major water leak in our plumbing. They also made arrangements to get the part we needed to repair our truck and suggested a competent repair shop close by to do the repair for us. We can't thank them enough for all the help they provided us and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stop there next year on our way through and visit the family. RV park has quite a few long term residents, a community two stall bathroom with two pay showers and laundry. We were there in a snowstorm and it would have been nice to have a shovel to clear our porch or make a walking path down to restrooms. We call Rick, he tells us to park wherever and that the charge is $54.00 plus tax. We inform Rick we have Good Sam and he tells us to make it an even 54.00 and that the tax would be our discount! Although that is still not right, we agree! We give Rick our credit card info over the phone, and he agreed to send us our receipt via email! Well we never did get our receipt via email so the next morning we saw his truck and my husband walked over and asked fir a receipt! He gave us a hand written receipt of sorts for 58.00 even including tax?? By that time we just left since no one was in the office again and Rick was weed eating along the roadway! This just does not seem to be the way to run a business! If you want to be with Good Sam's then honor the discount legitimately and provide a credit card receipt! We won't be back!

We booked a site with a private deck--such a smart touch--and the whole property felt exceptionally clean and thoughtfully laid out. The park is gated and reasonably quiet; we felt safe the entire time. Little conveniences add up here: a pedestrian gate for easy in/out, a fenced dog run, and even tokens for their on-site RV wash if you want to freshen up your rig. Every interaction with staff was pleasant, and the customer service was excellent. We recommend Nomadland RV Stay without hesitation and will absolutely choose it again anytime we're passing through Albuquerque.

And fair warning: those fortune machines might take your coin and your curiosity but won't actually spit out a fortune (mine's still pending). Patrick's Day pot lunch of home cooked corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, salads, roasted chicken Alfredo, salads and deserts with all the guests... it was wonderful and we so enjoyed the company of the other guests... we felt at home.... in any case the campground and facilities are clean and well maintained and the folks there couldn't be friendlier! And if you have horses (we did not) those facilities are wonderful! If we find ourselves near there again we will definitely stay... This RV park is being advertised on its website as a mountain resort with retreat quality amenities…read more- what a joke! In reality it's a rundown dump where basic utilities barely work and regular maintenance isn't performed. Rates are not as advertised, with additional fees and taxes tacked on without warning, reservations are not honored, and no refunds are allowed whether you stay or not and no matter how dissatisfied you are with the services. The bathrooms aren't kept clean and smell of backed up sewage, with missing shower/window curtains and filthy stalls that do not lock. The laundry room is full of dirty & broken machines, many that are not marked so you don't know until you lose your money or clothes don't come out clean. The trashcans are full because they are not emptied, and the dog park is full of poop due to no baggie dispenser and people not picking up after their pets. It's trashcan is the worst of all, always overflowing with feces. The grass goes uncut with tall weeds and pokeys that stick in feet & clothes and get tracked into RVs. All of the roads are bare mud & full of potholes and ruts - they aren't plowed in the winter and steep hills become icy. Piles of rocks/dirt/debris are scattered everywhere along with lots of holes & ditches, making walking around the park dangerous. All the signs/fences are faded & falling down, and the grounds are scattered with trash blowing in the wind. The pool is green with algae and closed most of the time, frequently broken from lack of maintenance. The clubhouse is hot & bare, lacking any activities or equipment, and it appears to have homeless people living in it right now. The wifi advertised is nonexistent, and there is no cable or antenna channels that can be picked up. The basketball court is tiny & covered with dirt, picnic tables broken and placed near smelly septic tanks, only tetherball pole is missing it's ball, swing set isn't anchored and tips over, and short hiking trail that runs the length of the park has low hanging branches and big rocks. The sites are short, narrow, unlevel & close together, lack picnic tables, fire rings or BBQ grills. They have hookups on opposite sides that are shared with neighbors, and either lack shade or have dead tree branches overhead. The water pressure is low & leaks are frequent, electric boxes exhibit signs of fire & melting, and breakers blow under minimal load. The park has very few 50 amp sites available, and all the security lights are burnt out so it's pitch black at night. Most sites are full of live-ins in old rigs and cluttered yards w/dog kennels. Short term spaces are not cleaned after use and the only tent sites are very close together with no campfires allowed. Coyotes & snakes are frequent visitors so keep your pets in at night and watch your step! Cars speeding within the park is a problem even though there are unsightly speed limit signs every ten feet, and rules are not enforced so problem people are permitted to do whatever they want. The park has had 4 owners in as many years, each worse than the last, with the most recent being a corporation based out of Texas who doesn't have any local management to watch over the park and has failed to invest in any repairs or improvements thus far. The RV park has steadily declined due to owners being unwilling to pay for maintenance or hiring employees who are willing to do any work, even the most basic of tasks required. The most recent managers to be hired to live onsite are meth addicts who have drawn other drug users and criminals to the area, scaring residents because of the sudden influx of shady characters. They are erratic and incapable of performing any sort duties on a regular basis because they are too high to function. The couple act paranoid & are seen doing weird stuff at odd hours, randomly open the office & appear to be selling drugs out of it. The managers are allowing extremely smelly homeless folks to stay for free in sites & common spaces, seen bathing in sinks & digging through the garbage for scrap metals, making a mess everywhere they go. Prior to these people taking over crime and drug use within the park was low, but now I wouldn't leave your belongings outside and unattended. It's a shame that this RV park isn't being cared for and doesn't have better employees, because otherwise it would be a nice place due to its location in the East Mountains. It's surrounded by forest with nearby hiking trails, but near enough to Albuquerque to allow for visits to the city for shopping, dining & entertainment. Unfortunately I can't recommend that anyone stay here, especially not if you are looking for a vacation spot, because you are likely to be sorely disappointed and unable to get a refund.

When I said I'm registering online he interrupted me and said to do what the papers on the door say and he will give me paperwork. He did not hear me. He was mean, rude and his body language depicted his tone. I am a female veteran trying to relax for the weekend with my daughter and this kind of attitude is least we need.
