Another easy and quick trip to see our urgent care specialist Kirsten. Daughter was having some stomach issues. We were very concerned that it might be appendicitis. I was incorrectly, using a mandolin and basically sliced off the right side tip of my finger. After talking to my on-call doctor in two hours of bleeding, she suggested I go to urgent care. My children have had great interaction with Clineva. Last night, I had the triple AAA team - Andy the receptionist, Andrew, the x-ray tech & Amy the PA. They took me to the room immediately as I got there with my finger wrapped in a towel filled with blood. Andy didn't worry about the registration. He was more concerned about me. I had to come here to get a physical for work and everyone was SO nice and helpful! All of the staff- the front desk, nurses, and the doctor were all very friendly and pleasant. I was really pleasantly surprised. The whole trip was really pretty expedient, looking online I saw the typical time spent there is 2-2.5 hours and I was really nervous I would be waiting for a long time, but they were efficient and it went very quickly! I rarely leave reviews but this place needs a shout out. My whole family comes here for all the colds and infections. They are so clean you could eat off the floor, friendly and quick. They knew my history of the problem I was reporting, knew all the details of the meds I'm on- in the 2 mins the PA prepped to see me. Kirstin Fick, PA saw me tonight and had me checked, briefed and even had my generic antibiotic on hand for $5, saving me a trip to the nearest pharmacy at night to stand in line sick. My young child had a known influenza exposure from a child who tested positive hours after spending hours in close contact with my child. My child was developing symptoms 2.5 days later and was completely dismissed. They told her she was totally fine even though she was 99.8 at home and had body aches. Their thermometer doesn't take accurate temperatures... they ignored all of her symptoms.. Their rapid flu test was negative. I called back a few hours later and my child had a 101 temperature, severe photophobia, body aches and headache. I re iterated she was exposed to influenza and it's definitely influenza and asked for Tamiflu. They didn't care and told me several times it was Sunday night so they didn't want to deal with it. At first they agreed to reassess her that same day and then said no, bring her in tomorrow morning. My young child is very sick, it's definitely influenza, and there is nothing we can do to help her. Influenza is very serious to children. Especially Type B influenza. All they want is more money from us tomorrow since they told us that reassessing her same day wouldn't allow them to charge us a second copay. Their repeated comments about it being Sunday night showed how incredibly disinterested they were in the welfare of their patients. Do not bring your kids here. Go to a pediatric urgent care instead that is staffed by CHOC pediatricians. Also they insisted that their clinical opinion was that it wasn't influenza despite early rapid tests failing up to 50 percent of the time. read more

Clineva absolutely rocks! I woke up feeling terrible but it only took 5 minutes for me to make my appt reservation online, the process was easy. Then I drove over and got in with no wait!!! Parking is easy, the office and facilities are beautiful, and the staff are so professional and kind. My appointment was quick and painless PLUS they thought to give me a doctor's note AND all my prescriptions went through without issue. The quality of professional care was excellent. The doctor spoke to me in a way that was easy to understand, and that acknowledged how bad I felt. I have never experienced Urgent Care like this. Above and beyond applies best. read more

Instead of waiting for a doctor appointment-who would refer me to a lab- wait several days for the results and then another day or two for the antibiotic, Clineva gets you quickly for triage, takes a urine sample, gets instant results and gives you antibiotics on the way out! The Clineva Urgent Care in Lake Forest is a top-notch facility. From the professional front desk staff to the nurse who did the vitals, to the PA, Amy N., my grandson received wonderful, attentive care. We brought him in with a fever and cough (he has asthma) Christmas eve day not realizing he had pneumonia. The PA diagnosed him promptly and referred us immediately to the ER where he was admitted to the hospital for two days, as on top of pneumonia, he had influenza as well. We are forever grateful to all of the staff who work at this facility. When we got home from the hospital two days after our visit, the PA called to see how our grandson was feeling. One of the best healthcare experiences we have ever had. Highly recommend this Urgent Care location. read more

From the help from staff into a wheelchair in the parking lot through the insurance and payment portion to X-rays, exam & explanation and teaching for use of the equipment, the staff was careful, kind, competent & efficient. I went to the facility in Fountain Valley after I fell because I thought I broke something. They took an x-ray and told me nothing was wrong. Both the Doctor and the radiologist told me there was nothing wrong. I had to move around on crutches for several weeks. I went to my orthopedic Doctor who took more x-rays and sure enough I broke something. Go ahead and go there but the information could very well be total nonsense and you would have paid for it both senses of the expression. read more

Wonderful office! New. Clean. Modern. The staff? Even better They truly care about their patients. I have never waited more than ten minutes to be seen, and always receive a follow up phone call that day,or the next, to check in on me and see how I am doing. McKenzie is my favorite, but everyone has been kind and compassionate when I need it most. I only wish they were my primary care office. I would leave them in a heartbeat if this urgent care office staff could be my one and only. We have all experienced a lackluster medical visit, which may leave us to question why some people go into medicine if not to help others. I am even less impressed now that they pulled money out of my card without my authorization. Didn't even email me to let me know! I saw the charge in my account. I had to call their billing department to get that refunded. The billing lady (who was very nice) explained to me that the girl that was on the reception, when she asked me to pay for my x-ray CD, stored my card (without my permission!!!) and marked my card as I had authorized them for automatic payments, even though I specifically told them to send me a bill in the mail or e-mail me. The billing lady suggested to not give them my card next time. Really?! How about the folks that work there do the right thing instead?! Why should I be policing everybody? What happened to being honest? Problem after problem with this place. Bottom line: Limited services (you need a doctor after that either way), saw me knowing I needed an ultrasound just to tell me they didn't have one and I had to go to another place anyway (charged me in the process, too), up-bill, unauthorized charges on my card. Can it get any worse? I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

After getting insulted by Dr. Dustin he finally perscribed something... I listed off a whole host of problems and mentioned green mucus and how Google showed the top seven results said it's bacterial infection and could be serious he wants to immediately insult me and tell me that Google is worthless which is a huge red flag and that he will only use Harvard studies so now we're looking at the Harvard website says don't judge mucus by its color regarding it could be either viral or bacterial so finally after mentioning one other or two other problems he finally decides okay I'll send you something why all the bickering when I already listed off a whole bunch of other things plus the green mucus and the direct insult it's just not necessary or nice. read more

I woke up with horrible ear pain on 6/1/23 and sought out an urgent care immediately. This location had great reviews so I made an appointment online. The online appointment process was a breeze and they had same day appointments available which was great. I had an early appointment and check in was a breeze as I had already filled out all personal information/uploaded my insurance documents online. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and I maybe waited 5 minutes before being called back. The nurse who checked my vitals was also very nice as well as the female doctor who confirmed my ear infection. Everything was honestly great up until I was leaving. I know at some places you have to check out so I remained at the front desk waiting for the original girl who had checked me in. During these 2-3 minutes, I overheard the nurse and doctor speaking about me and disclosing information out loud about my visit. I understand they were in the back but I could hear them from the waiting room which meant others in the waiting room could also overhear. I know that if I had done this at our clinic, it would be a complete violation of HIPAA. Really a bummer because I was very happy with my visit up until the end. I have been dealing with neck spasms from sleeping wrong for 4 days and the doctor knew immediately what I needed. The staff is super friendly and professional. Good & cheap won't be fast? Wrong. This place was good, cheap (because of my insurance) and fast. I made a same day appointment for today at 2:15PM. I arrived on time and was greeted by one of the many friendly employees. The woman at the front took receipt of my ID and insurance card and proceeded to check me in. In just a few minutes (5-10 minutes), I was called in to get my blood pressure taken and to answer some preliminary questions. After that I was instructed into a room to wait for the PA. As soon as I sat down, she walked in with a smile and helped me out. She diagnosed my concern immediately and had the prescription sent to the pharmacy. I paid my copay and I was out of there! For minor ailments and concerns this will be my go to place. Fast, reliable, and friendly service :). read more

This was the best urgent care experience! I went in today and had an overall amazing experience at this location. I am so impressed with the cleanliness, care and hospitality everyone provided to me from the front desk staff to the Nurses and MD. Kirsten the Dr was very kind and helpful as well as Anne Lynn with everything! The front desk girl Natalia was so nice too. There was no wait when I went in this morning and I was in an out quickly. I also appreciated the efficiency at this clinic because I was not feeling good at all so it helped to be in and out in a timely manner.
