Made an appointment online, came in for a Tdap vaccine and we were in and out in 15 minutes. NP Larissa Todd was very pleasant, thank you!

Marque Urgent Care is one of the best when it comes to caring for children. The staff and doctors…read moreare incredibly patient and have such a wonderful way of making kids feel at ease. They use fun phrases like, "Let's check your ears for bunny rabbits and butterflies," which might sound simple, but it truly makes a huge difference. My child, who is usually shy around doctors, actually opened up and even giggled during the visit. On top of that, they gave out stickers and toys to keep the kids calm and happy. I was pleasantly surprised by the toy selection--it really shows the extra thought they put into making kids comfortable. If you're looking for a kid-friendly urgent care with a caring and thoughtful team, this is the place to go!

Appointment Confirmed -- No Doctor Available-…read more I scheduled an appointment at Marque Urgent Care because I was extremely sick and needed care. I drove to the clinic expecting to be seen, only to be told when I arrived that there was no doctor in the building and that I might be seen hours later. So their system allows patients to schedule appointments even when no provider is available. After leaving, I received a text saying I had "missed" my appointment. I replied explaining that I had been there but could not be seen because there was no doctor. Then the next day they sent another automated message reminding me to reschedule because "my health is important." Their automated systems clearly do not match what is actually happening at the clinic. Patients should not be allowed to book appointments that the clinic cannot fulfill, and they should not be told they missed an appointment when the clinic had no provider available. This was a frustrating experience and a major breakdown in scheduling and communication. Updated to the response from the clinic below: Thank you for responding, but your reply still does not answer the main questions I raised. I understand you are saying this was caused by an unexpected provider call-out. However, that does not explain the core failure. My questions were not simply why the provider was absent. My questions were: Why was I still allowed to keep or appear for a scheduled appointment if no provider was available? When did your clinic know the provider would not be there? Why was I not contacted before I drove in, especially given that I was very sick and coming in specifically for care? Why was I later marked as though I had "missed" my appointment when I physically showed up and your clinic could not see me? What specific operational or system changes are being made so patients are not allowed to book or keep appointments that your clinic cannot actually fulfill? Your response says you will "discuss this internally," but that is still very vague. I am not looking for a general apology or a broad statement that this was rare. I am asking for a clear explanation of how this happened and what exact corrective action will be taken. You also mentioned virtual care technology and nearby locations, but those options were not communicated to me in a way that prevented me from wasting my time and money driving to the clinic while sick. That is the issue. At this point, I would like direct answers to the following: At what point did the clinic know there would be no provider available? Why was I not notified before arrival? Why did your system send a missed-appointment message and then another automated rescheduling text after I had already reported the problem? What exact change will be made to prevent patients from being scheduled or left scheduled when no provider is available? Please do not send another generic apology. I am asking for actual answers and a concrete explanation of what will change.

My partner was supposed to be referred to another office, but we have been going back and forth for MONTHS because the referral either wasn't sent correctly or wasn't sent at all. We were repeatedly told to wait a week, only to find out the other office still hadn't received what they needed. This should not take months to resolve. To make matters worse, my partner has dealt with Lily throughout this process, and she has been extremely rude and dismissive every time he has spoken with her. I have personally heard the way she speaks to him, and it is incredibly unprofessional. We called again today, and thankfully, whoever answered the phone was the ONLY person throughout this entire experience who deserves 5 stars. She was kind, helpful, and actually gave us all the information we needed so we could figure it out ourselves. After months of being given the runaround, it's ridiculous that we ultimately had to take matters into our own hands. At least someone finally took the time to actually help us. UPDATE: Dr. Lauren Davis personally reached and apologized, she had no clue this was going on. Thank you for the accountability and the apology. We are very relieved to finally be moving forward. Thank Dr.Lauren for taking the time to call us and look into the issue we greatly appreciate it!:)

They called me right away and communicated what was happening in a calm, professional, and kind manner which helped my panic calm down. When I arrived, the ER waiting room was overly packed. People were along the hallway with IV bags getting treated because the rooms/beds were full. Even with a packed ER and other patients yelling and being nasty to the medical staff, the staff all kept their cool and did their jobs in a kind yet professional manner. They gave us top of the line quality care. I watched them sew up my partner's face, wrap his broken bones, and give him tests. All were done with professionalism and care. The doctor attending to him was very communicative and explained everything thoroughly. The nurses were telling us stories and made sure my partner had everything he needed. They also have a parking garage which is helpful. It's a bit of a walk but they have someone with a golf cart giving people rides to and from the parking. Thank you all again!! I can't thank you enough :) Also i'll spare you the gory details and not add photos. You're welcome lol

My 89-year-old mother recently had an MRI at Providence (Leonard Cancer Institute) in Mission…read moreViejo, and the experience was extremely disappointing. We were given an appointment time and, as with virtually every medical appointment, were instructed to arrive 30 minutes early. We did exactly that. Unfortunately, the check-in process was incredibly slow. There was only one employee working the front desk, and she appeared to be engaged in an extended conversation with the patient she was assisting. Several patients were waiting before us, and it took an unusually long time before another employee came to help. Even though we arrived 30 minutes early, it still took approximately 25 minutes just to complete the check-in process. We then went downstairs to the MRI department and arrived only two minutes before our scheduled appointment time. When we rang the bell, a young man opened the door and immediately, in a very rude tone, said, "You're late." I explained that we were not late--we had arrived 30 minutes early as instructed, but the lengthy check-in process had delayed us. Instead of listening, he insinuated that I was not telling the truth about how long the check-in process had taken. I found that accusation completely inappropriate and very insulting. We had followed Providence's instructions exactly, and I did not appreciate being treated as though I was being dishonest. He then insisted that we should have come earlier. If Providence expects patients to already be checked in and waiting in the MRI department before their appointment time, then that expectation should be reflected in the appointment instructions or the appointment time itself. Without any empathy or professionalism, he shut the door in our faces and told us we would have to wait because they were taking another patient ahead of us. Slamming the door in the face of an 89-year-old woman and her daughter after speaking to us so disrespectfully was completely unacceptable. What should have been a simple finger MRI ended up taking nearly two hours from start to finish. The only bright spot in our visit was another young man in the MRI department who was kind, courteous, and treated us with respect. He demonstrated the level of professionalism and compassion that every patient deserves. Providence needs to do a much better job training its staff on customer service and basic courtesy. Patients--especially elderly patients--deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not rudeness, accusations, and dismissive behavior. This experience left us feeling frustrated, disrespected, and very disappointed.
