I brought my friend Paula to this urgent care at approximately 6:30 PM. Their posted closing time was 8:00 PM, but the woman at the front desk told us they were too busy to see any new patients. What made this especially frustrating is that, as shown in the photos attached to this post, the waiting room appeared to be empty. There were no visible patients waiting to be seen at that time, yet we were still told they could not accept anyone else. I understand that urgent care offices can have staffing limitations, patients already in exam rooms, or other issues that are not visible from the lobby. However, if a facility advertises that it is open until 8:00 PM, patients should reasonably expect to be evaluated, triaged, or at least clearly directed to another appropriate place for care. My friend had an urgent medical concern, and this experience made us feel dismissed rather than helped. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this urgent care to someone who needs timely medical attention. read more

There is an overwhelming foul/stale oder in the office. Staff is friendly. Recent increases in costs tripled, and drastically higher in comparison to other urgent care facilities near by. Example HS sports physical $129, all others nearby $60. If able to go to Clineva. read more

I went to this location today. I am giving one star because they didn't correctly transmit the prescription for my daughter's antibiotics to the pharmacy. The pharmacy didn't receive anything. My toddlers in a lot of pain and because of their error, she can't start her antibiotics tonight. read more

Just got done with my appointment. I won't say that this place is that bad, but the reason I give two stars is because I prefer someone with a steady hand to draw my blood. I don't want to be mean or try to assume too much but the girl that came in seemed really young, hair messy a little unprofessional looking and was shaking the entire time she was drawing my blood. That doesn't bring me any reassurance that she knows what she's doing. Next time have someone with confidence come and draw blood because I felt nervous for myself. read more

As a walk in I made an appointment for my son for an X-ray for possible fracture in his hand. They told me it would be a 45 min wait as the physician just went on break. I said that was fine as I didn't have much of choice I was on a time crunch. After waiting 30 minutes I hear the front desk girl say over the phone they don't do X-rays at the current location and would need to go to another location. I went to the front desk to confirm this bc I was there FOR AN X-RAY! Sure enough she said oh yes I'm sorry. You'll have to go to a different location. Since I was already waiting 30 min and this was their fault I asked her to call the location and tell them we were on our way and she refused. She said she could but she wouldn't. I called the location which was mission viejo and told them what happened and she said they were empty but were going on lunch and couldn't help us either and have a nice day!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! This was NOT our mistake and NEITHER location was willing to help out my son and I!!! read more

They secretly and illegally keep your credit card info on file to charge as many times as they want without your authorization after they overbill insurance knowing they won't pay; then they randomly charge your credit card without permission. You also don't get to see a real doctor for $600 (this is no joke what they charged total out-of-pocket + insurance for a 10 min visit with no procedure, no meds), you only get to see a PA who has no clue. Sadly, this place is out to scam people who need urgent care. Better to go to the ER. read more

Nice Urgent Care location. Saturday 2 pm. Busy, but not too crazy. This office is well organized and clean. The front lady was very kind and welcoming. We waited for about 15 minutes for the doctor to call us in. He was nice and attentive with us. They gave us the medication themselves because the meds that we needed, most CVSs were out of it. I've had to come for my baby twice and had very different experiences. The first time was great. Some waiting but not unreasonable. The pediatrician was helpful and gave us quality care. Today we made an appointment online for 4:45PM. We didn't get called into a room until 5:15. After the initial intake we sat in the room for an hour before the doctor came. They needed to do an ear wax cleaning so they could check for an ear infection. he nurse came in and said it was a two person job so we had to wait for someone else to come back from lunch. I asked them about the softener drops and the dr hadn't communicated that he needed them so we waited another 10 min for the drops to work. We were here for more than TWO hours The doctor themselves are good but this establishment needs to staff better. If this is a location with CHOC pediatricians you can assume a lot of children come here. To expect parents with kids to patiently wait 2+ hours for care is asinine. read more

About the only positive thing I can say is that the wait time wasn't too bad - about 45 min despite the fact that there was only one person in front on me. The care however was substandard and outrageously expensive. I didn't really get any help for my problem and the bill for 10 minutes with a physicians assistant was $200. However the worst part was that they took it upon themselves to charge my credit card more than a month after the visit without any sort of bill or notice. I would recommend finding other care providers if at all possible but, if there are no other options available, make sure to pay with a check or cash to prevent the same thing from happening to you. read more

Came back to OG location and waiting behind 5 others now. This isn't right I'm grumpy. They were kind and gave me a bagels a brew gift coupon and apologized which was kind. THIS WOULD BE A FIVE IF IT WAS NOT FOR ONE PERSON. We live up the street. The place is clean, professional, empathetic, and most of all, convenient. I would easily give this place a five star review, except for the front Admin of Hanna. She is rude, flaky, and almost bordering on mean in her behavior. She does not represent the other amazing front desk administrators and, especially, the hardworking people in the back. How did this happen? Well, last night we went to Marquee and it was like any other visit. Brilliant and professional. We needed a test done, but we could not do it as my daughter was sick. "No problem - bring it back tomorrow and we can process it". Again, perfect service and professionalism and why we love this place. The problems ALL started once we had to deal with Hanna the next day when we dropped the sample off the next day. She was uninformed, seemed distracted, and was even confused about whether they could take them. We prompted her to check the notes, which she reluctantly did, and then took the sample. We asked when we could get the results of the 10-minute test, and it was met with a cold "when we get time". We ended up having to make multiple trips, and we were told, "Well, just take your daughter to the emergency room if you are so worried". We even tried to go back again and wait and leave our sick daughter; she doubled/tripled down on the poor, cold, and vague attitude. So they ended up splitting the sample so we can drive 30 minutes to a doctor to run the test. I am frankly disgusted by her attitude and hate how it made my family feel. Will we be coming back, of course! Will we return if we have to deal with this particular person? No. I urge you all to do the same. Thank you to the great staff at Marquee - you are terrific, and sorry you are not getting represented well. ** a little update, the marquee lab called four days after we started medication thanks to another clinic that let us know immediately of the problem. Concerning and the lack of empathy to let a two year old suffer for days says a lot. Bree, I would be happy to chat about this in person or over the phone. My family were really effected by how we were treated and it caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety which could have been avoided. Pretty useless doctor that we saw for our child. I don't remember his name but he's either a middle eastern or Indian gentleman. However, truth be told he was extremely useless in trying to help with my 1.5 year old who was vomiting non stop. He told us that he is not a pediatrician which makes sense but proceeded to not give us any recommendations on what to do and was too afraid to even guess if it was simply nausea that caused it or what have you. Don't have to be definitive but an educated estimate would have been nice instead of just saying "well beats me" and sending patients on their way. They made my dad do a virtual appointment and wouldnt test him for covid and made him fill out a million forms on his little phone when he was very sick. 76 years old. he couldnt finish the forms so they turned him away. I caught Covid on my way home from the holidays and woke up the night before feeling like somebody was sitting on my chest. That day I was diagnosed with Covid at the Marquee, Urgent Care and at that point because the doctor doesn't want to be exposed to Covid the treatment is done on the telephone. I can understand that. They have a pediatric side to the waiting room and then an adult side which is nice! Of course they told me to put on a mask because I was coughing and I totally understood! I actually had a fairly bad case of Covid, but the doctor immediately called in Paxlovid for me, and that did the trick! I did, however, experience rebound from the drug. They did follow through with me a couple days later and overall, I was satisfied with this urgent care center and partly because they have extended hours beyond what some of the other clinics did. read more

Everytime I have needed to come here I have left having the BEST experience. The most recent time I came my son came home with a really ugly cough after daycare. I was afraid he had something stuck in his throat, or wasn't getting enough oxygen. I took him in at 5pm and they saw him within 10m. They prescribed something immediately and I was also able to go to the CVS next door to get antibiotics to take home. The best/worst part was the team that helped to get my son to calm down and wear a steroid breathing mask.He is 16 months so of course he cried and didn't want to put it on but Melissa and Diana were so gentle and helped me hold him gently and calm him down. Natalie was also great and quick at seeing the issues and prescribing something to help him immediately. read more

Just moved to the area & needed an urgent care facility, googled & found Marque Urgent Care under 5 minutes away, I called & was told I could do a Walk In, no appointment was required, this was the best find in the history of finding for a needed location! Upon entry I was welcomed by Nikki in the reception area, very efficient & knowledgeable, asked all the required questions, I waited a couple of minutes & was ushered in by another young lady whose name I am sorry to say I have forgotten, took me inside into the back examination area, she took my weight, blood pressure & did a COVID swab. 10 minutes later Sarah, PA-C saw me, told me I did not have COVID, but wanted to give me a full check up & listen to my heart. At which time due to my coughing sarah deducted I have Bronchitis & prescribed the meds I would need to take with rest & hydration! All this was within 1/2 hour in a beautiful clean location with happy greeting faces. I lave told my son to visit when necessary! I started feeling sick 2 days ago, but this morning I had difficulty breathing and my chest felt heavy. I had never experienced this before so I went to Marque Urgent Care in Lake Forest for the first time today. I felt taken care of immediately--the staff, Justina & Nikki, were so helpful with helping me check in as a walk in patient and taking my vitals-- and my medical provider Sarah provided clear, helpful information that really put me at ease. I came here after trying to get seen at the RSM location (I live in RSM) but the lady working at the Rancho Santa Margarita location was rude and unhelpful. Im really glad I ended up at the Lake Forest location. Everyone there from front office to Dr staff has been helpful and friendly. In addition, the building was clean and new and there was no long wait time and the commuication with the staff was clear and easy. The only thing missing that they really need is a purse hook in the bathroom, so you dont have to put your purse on the floor. read more

Understaffed location. They take appointments/reservations but don't know how to keep them. Waited over an hour just to have three people pushed in front of us. The worst part is when I asked why that happened, the response was "if you want to go to another facility we understand" very rude and unacceptable and unprofessional response to patients waiting to receive care. I will not give a star, they will not give you the right information regarding the the money, I wanted a test that is not cover by the insurance, and I understand and willing to pay for it, but I would like to talk to the provider for a few questions , and I was told that the consultation will be bill to my insurance! I was very happy with that, But as soon as I got to the location I was told a different story that the consulate was an additional fee plus $129, plus the test$55. That $189, that I was not ready to pay! I could have gone to a drug test facility and it would have been cheaper, I had to talk to the manager and still they wanted to charge me more! On Sunday morning I had to go to urgent care for a rash on my body. Nikki greeted my wife and I at the front desk. She was very friendly and gave us a wait time of about 20 minutes. In about 15 minutes we were called in. Monica greeted me and took my vitals. Very friendly. The doctor Sharon Chan came in quickly and very friendly. She prescribed the medication and by second day I was rash free. It's called Marque urgent care located in the Ralph's shopping center on Trabuco and Lake forest.
