The team who provide the massage are very nice but their technical ability to massage is sorely lacking. If you want a message light to medium touch, comprised of rubbing vs shiatsu this place is for you. My spouse and I each had a two hour massage broken by a 30 minute foot and 90 minute body. The rooms are communal for both the foot massage and body massage meaning other people can be getting a full body massage in the same room. There was a soft Chinese language music playing but the incessant ringing of the bell throughout the treatment,-made it less relaxing. I'm not sure if I would recommend, the pricing is very compelling to try it out. The ladies were very nice and friendly, lacked technical skills to provide a great massage. read more

Sigh... I keep telling myself, no more of these Asian massages because they suck. No, they do not do Swedish massage here if that's what you're looking for. The lady I had was so bad -- the whole time I wasn't relaxed at all. When I paid, I asked for Swedish, and she freaking gave me deep tissue instead. And it's not even about deep tissue -- it felt like she was using her whole body weight to press against me. Smh! She was terrible. Honestly, the pedicure massage I got before coming here was way better than this. That's it -- I'm never going back to any of these places again.Also, not to be rude, but the lady didn't really understand English, so I just gave up and went along with it. read more

New to town, I tried this place based on favorable reviews. I did the 60 minute whole body massage. My therapist was Joanne, and she was terrific. Just the right amount of pressure to get complete relaxation, without pain. Everything about this place was first rate. I went here on a whim for a girls' day on the weekend and my regular place was not open. The customer service was great, and I didn't have any language barriers like I read in a different review. I went on a very hot day and the front door was open, but the massage rooms were well air conditioned. I typically like a firm massage, but I asked for medium pressure and it was medium-firm. I came early for my appointment and I was helped right away at the front desk and didn't need to wait once I was in the massage room. I had a full body massage and it was mostly face down with a lot of back work. The massage ended with some scalp and face massage. Lily gave a great massage, and I would 100% recommend. read more

First off there are two Jo Jo Massage places one of them is in Elk Grove area which I called by accident. This one is located in Lincoln. Despite not having an appointment we were seen immediately. We purchased the 30 minute foot and 60 minute hot stone combo from Groupon. The foot massage was nothing special but the hot stone massage was excellent. Somehow those stones stayed hot the entire time and at times I wondered how the masseuse could even handle the stones. The heat was relaxing and the pressure and skill applied was fantastic. This was one of the best massages we have received in years. The spot is not fancy like a spa, but they have give a quality massage. read more

Please train your young female masseuse- she should never put her hands/fingers on the front of peoples eyes pushing and rubbing against the pupil of a clients eyes. Was the worst massage I've ever had. Communication barrier was also an issue. read more

Wonderful place! Great price, very professional, and perhaps the most important part if I feel amazing, huge improvement over how I felt before coming in earlier today! I explained that I had some tightness in my upper back, and to my surprise during a full body massage its was mostly in my shoulder and neck, and the side that doesn't normally hurt (my right side) was the stiffest part to work out, thus my left side must be sore from over compensating. I had a gift card to Jo Jo massage that my mom gave me. I also had a VIP card I was given the first time I came to the establishment. When I tried to use both the $5 off and the gift card together, I was told I could not (even though the massage I wanted was more expensive than the gift certificate). I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told they were not there and they could not grant the $5 off. The massage was okay, standard Chinese style, similar to the mall massages I usually get, complete with a massage therapist whose hands smell like cigarettes. I will not be returning, as the customer service is so poor and the product is mediocre, even at the low price. read more
