Bruise 4 days after simple blood draw. Can tell its not even near the crease where the blood vessel is!

I've gone here a few times for some routine labs and they're fairly efficient with shorter wait times if you make an appointment online. This last time I was butchered by the phlebotomist. I felt his hurried manner and usually they palpate for the vessel, but I trusted their training. I tracked down the manager of the branch and sent a detailed email because I thought they might want to know about my experience. I sent pictures. I didn't specifically ask for anything (an acknowledgment would have been courtesy), but only crickets. Now I know how they run their business... never again.

Frequent blood draw customer review. Pros: - Miss Mary! Give her a Yelp! when you go. (Super lady and Katrina survivor) - Lots of parking - Expert technicians - Well organized - never experienced any errors with billing, missing labs etc. - Billing office staff is helpful (applies to CPL's main office.) Cons: - Busy location - sometimes there is a wait - Waiting room feels crowded quickly - Parking is not free (first 1/2 hour is free) - Cash or check only to pay for parking Tips: - Park on the "back" side of the building, the 2nd entrance will lead your right to the lab. (The back side is the side facing 34th street/south.) - Go early in the morning - Bring a few bucks for parking, just in case. They accept cash or check only.* - Relax, they got your back! * If Miss Mary is running things, I never had to pay for parking. She will make sure everything is right. if she is not there... make sure they have your name right etc.

Through the ramp in the back.

Great location! I've been a few times and they are always efficient and painless, and I hate needles. William is great!

the lab itself itself is fine, the company they use for billing is a joke. They cant get a single billing right.

She took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly assess my condition, and explain her treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand and gave me confidence in the process. Dr. Lily is the kind of physical therapist who makes you laugh so much, you forget you're actually working. We bonded over our love for reading and somehow turned therapy sessions into plot twists and punchlines. 10/10 would recommend--especially if you like your healing with a side of humor! Thanks to Dr. Lily, I've regained strength, mobility, and hope. She's not only an excellent therapist but also a wonderful person to work with. If you're looking for someone skilled, encouraging, and truly dedicated to your recovery, Dr. Lily is the one.

I drove all the way from Elgin (40 minutes plus fighting traffic) and due to being 3 minutes late over the 10 minute late window (13 minutes total) my appointment was canceled! Instead of working with me and being understanding that life happens, they continued to argue with me. All they could say is sorry we can schedule you for another location, today we have availability in Kyle, Texas. Ma'am be soo for real right now. I'm absolutely disgusted by this office. Claims the Dr needs an hour for the appointment but if my appointment is at 9:20 and the Dr has to leave at 10, how does that even make sense. Wish I could leave ZERO stars.

My doctor's office is literally across the hall from this lab, so every year after my well woman's…read moreexam I end up there. And somehow... every single year... they magically bill me for something that should've been covered. At first I thought it was just one of those annoying insurance mix-ups. But after spending at least an HOUR every year playing mediator between the doctor, insurance company, and lab, it's starting to feel less like "oops" and more like a seasonal tradition. Usually they eventually fix it after I call enough times. Other times I've honestly just paid it because I value my sanity. This there were two tests I knew insurance wouldn't cover, paid for them upfront with my credit card, had the doctor separate them on a different form, AND asked for a receipt. The receipt only had the amount paid -- no description. Which already felt a little "interesting." Convenient that for some reason they have no way of putting a description what I paid for on this but every time they send me a bill it has a very accurate description of what they are billing me for. It's sad that it comes to me having to cord this interaction to protect myself. So I asked on video: "So these definitely will not be billed to insurance since I'm paying here?" Receptionist: "Yes." Fast forward to this week: guess who just got billed $36 for those exact same tests. At this point I'm not even mad about the money. It's the principle. Because I know a lot of people probably just sigh dramatically, pay the $30, and move on. But no. Not this year. This year I will be returning like a low-budget legal drama with my receipt, my credit card statement, AND my little video clip. Honestly the phlebotomists are sweet, but the front office acts like kindness costs extra. They are shockingly rude! So if this place keeps overbilling you too: fight it. Even if it's annoying. Or save yourself the headache and find a friendlier lab who doesn't routinely try to keep an extra 15- 30 from every visit.

A couple of days pass, I thought they would mail me my result but when I didn't receive anything I called customer care and my test result was mailed to me, only to notice that it was stated on the result that the lab spilled my urine sample and couldn't conduct the relevant test. they didn't bother to call to inform me about this. however I had a friend drive me about 8 miles back to the lab again on the 6/8/26 to give another sample. I would expect the lab would be sorry for their negligence in spilling the sample I previously gave and take my sample again without wasting my time, but boy was I wrong! the staff were borderline rude, they told every cock and bull story to avoid doing what's right. I was literally told to go call customer care again and ask customer care to reorder my test or I pay for a new test. after I challenged them, they told me to wait they wanna talk to their supervisor and I was there waiting for over an hour. after more than an hour the staff dealing with me left the lab maybe for her lunch break Im not sure, but on her way out, she told me the other staff would handle my issue. she left and came back about 30mins later I was still waiting, nobody had done anything about my test they botched! it was after almost 2 hours they called me in to give another urine sample. In all the treatment I got was horrible, you don't botch a service to a client due to your own negligence and then they come around a 2nd time to help you fix your mess and you proceed to treat them like shit! that's exactly my experience at Quest diagnostics, 2525 W Anderson.

Service depends, as with all businesses, on the folks who are on staff that day and the volume of patients. Get there on a slow day with the amiable staff, an excellent experience. High volume day with a cranky person, flat experience. I've seen both. I still say this is a good location due to it being hidden--the volume will be lower than other CPLs. But, that doesn't mean it will be low--just lower (if you hit a busy time). I'm increasing my stars because, with my increased visits, I'm finding friendlier phlebotomists.

Unhappy employees make for unhappy customers. I almost always have to take a specimen in 2 days in a row. There is no simple "drop off". You have to wait in line but it seems for EVERYBODY'S well-being, you should get out as fast as possible since the reason you're there is because you are sick and being kept in a small room with occasionally, several to many other sick people. When it's your turn They grill you, critique the amount of your specimen and ask for non-existent paperwork. I sent my husband in the first day to take in the first specimen. He came back talking about the mean lady. I went today. She's more than mean she's horrible. In the 3rd window. Not nice, doesn't like her job and doesn't like people. I feel sorry for her. It's not an easy job I wouldn't think but it's made a lot worse by bad management. And I venture to guess the other locations are bad sometimes but you can always count on this location to be ugly.
