It's been a long time since I've gotten a manicure, but I went with a friend and we had the whole salon to ourselves since they were close to closing. They allowed us to put Football on the TV and gave nice long foot/leg rubs. Manicurists seem to only do 2 layers of gel in NYC, but here I got the full 3 so weeks later they're still lasting, albeit grown out. I was happy with the quality, just wish the shaping of my nails had been a little bit more the way I described. The pedicure was okay...there was not any massage -- just a fast few seconds. The two women were nice, but they brought 2 toddler age kids to work running around banging and screeching; then husband turned on kids TV to distract them-- more noise--ruined a relaxing vibe. read more

I have taken my wife and mother in law in many times. Every time I pick them up they are smiling, laughing and have this glow about them. They both get into the car and share how great work their techs did and how great their nails look. My review to recommend how they treat their clients. On numerous occasions I have picked my mother in law and wife up and it is raining. The owner or gentleman that works the front desk always walks my mother in law out with an umbrella and helps them to the car. Just wanted to share the level of care and service. I am not from the area so I chose this place strictly based on the proximity of where I am staying, the limited options in the area and the yelp reviews. My mom and I both had manicures and I had a pedicure. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and the service was good. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere comfortable. Nothing fancy or over the top, which is what I personally like. And it did not smell completely toxic, as some salons do. I now know where to go when I am back again visiting. :) read more

Went to this place to get a regular pedicure and gel manicure for short nails. Pedicurist was nice and did a good job and passed me over to the technician who not only did a HORRIBLE JOB but looked at it and said it looked "good". The gel was uneven, the tips were looking discolored, she didn't even cleaned the color around and I had to ask her to clean it up! When she finished she said "okay is $70". I paid, walked outside and looked at my nails in the sun, went back and asked the other technician if my nails were supposed to look like that. She asked me to sit and redo them! They still look messy around but at least the gel is even and shiny as it should be. Will never go back to this overpriced and horrible service place! read more

I chose Clinton Nail Spa for two reasons. The previous reviews and the location. Overall I love the way my toes look, the pedicure itself was mediocre. I decided on gel polish instead of regular so the pedicure ended up costing $40 plus tip. Not sure what the going rate is but a regular pedicure price was listed as $25. I know gel is extra but worth $15 extra? Also, previous reviews mention a hot stone massage included. I did not receive that. Maybe bc I ordered gel polish, maybe my technician forgot, not sure. So I was slightly disappointed. I was a walk-in and was seen right away which was nice. Overall I've had better pedicures. Nothing special here. read more

I am new to the Clinton area and decided to go here based on the reviews for this nail salon. I called ahead to make sure they had time for a gel manicure and was assured to please come in. I arrive at 6:10 pm and was warmly greeted and quickly sat down. I let Kim know what I wanted and asked the price. She replied $35. She began hurrying through my manicure and was watching the clock the entire time to make sure she got finished as soon as possible. She went so fast that I questioned how good the manicure would be. She finished my manicure by 6:45 and told me it would be $50!! I felt sick to my stomach, paid and quickly left. I thought if the manicure lasted for 3 to 4 weeks like the last one I had done (at a diff salon) then it would be worth it. They really spend time on you. I was there for over an hour getting my nails done (acrylic fill, gel polish, and a design) which was so nice to see. Kim checked to make sure all my nails were the same length and made them thin just like I wanted. I left with perfectly done nails and have no complaints. The only reason I took a star is because they are a bit more pricey for the area. My manicure was $50 because they use a better fill than regular acrylic. Next time I go I'm going to ask for the normal fill which is $25. But after being at every salon in Clinton this is the one I recommend! read more

Worst nail salon ever. The women were rude from the moment my daughter and I arrived, and despite having appointments at the same time, my daughter and I were made to wait and went separately. My pedicure was actually painful - from the harsh removal of my old gel polish with an electric file that ground away my toenails to the woman fiercely digging her nails into my feet as she polished my toes. When my pedi was done my manicurist made me leave my spa chair next to my daughter, who was still having her nails done, so she could clean it, even though there were several empty chairs and it wasn't busy. I asked for a gel manicure, they told me to pick out a color and they started my nails right away. The girl was very nice and did a very good job on my manicure. The owner starts taking everyone that comes in without an appointment and then when she sees so many ppl, then she takes all her stress and blames the poor spanish girl that was doing my nails. This was the worst nail experience of my life. I came in and got a a pedicure and acrylic manicure. The pedicure was fine- nothing to write home about. But once they started doing my nails there was issue after issue. The lady cut my skin several times while using the electric nail file and caused bleeding. After I said Owww! and pulled my hand away, she laughed at me!!! She also told me that they had a similar color to match my toe nail polish which was a salmon color and then brought out a dark pumpkin orange. She then told me to go find a different color even though my nails were not dry, so I couldn't use my hands. After 3 and a half hours, they were finally finished and here's the kicker- I get the bill and it's $115!!! I've never paid that much for nails in my life-including my wedding nails which were wayyy nicer. My husband booked my friend and I the appointment as a surprise, as I recently had a baby. My friend who was visiting from out of town and had an equally terrible experience for different reasons which I won't get into. The worst customer service I've EVER experienced at a nail salon. My sister in law made an appt for me for a a pedicure at 6:15 (hers was at 5:30). She confirmed multiple times that 6:15 was ok since it was close to when they usually closed. I drove an hour from work to meet her there for them just to tell me "sorry, we can't take you, we're closing". When we were obviously confused, they told us it was my fault since I was late. This is probably one of my least favorite nail salons in the Clinton area the first time I went they were just okay they rush you and stand over you while you picking up your nail polish very annoying. Tonight when I went July 23rd 2019 this was one of the worst very worst pedicures I've ever gotten the technician super rushed my toes look terrible I'm going to have to take it off and do it again myself tomorrow or go somewhere else I should go with my gut and go to serenity like most people in town. OkAfter she did one hand at the pedicure station she kind of just push my hand down and walked away and waited for me to come over to her chair after the pedicure technician was complete well I say complete with a terrible job I forgot the girl's name very very disappointed in my pedicure however to show I'm the better person I still gave her a tip because I'm sure she works for nothing anyway getting back to Joy she kind of just kept tapping my hand like I was a child with a gel manicure tell him slapping me kinda to put my hand in the machine and when I didn't relax she got very frustrated. as she was cutting my cuticles it hurt a lot because she did not soak my hands in warm water to soften the cuticle area and then she took out this rotary tool and started doing something to my cuticles with that and then cutting them again I will never ever ever go back to this place againI thought this was my second chance for this salon After my first visit I also got my daughter a gift card for her birthday for a mani and a pedicure and my daughter had the same experiences I did she loved the gift but hated the salon. terrible experience with the korean owner and manager. her latin stuff are better working on the nails and pedicure, but do not ever do or allow to do your nails with the korean owner, evem if the place is busy. please do not..... the owner doesn't know what she is doing neither her sister. and on top of that they both are not nice at all. she charged me an extra and unauthorized tip on my credit card, so be careful with that. she does a bad manicure job where it peels the second day even when i paid extra for gel. please stay out of this spa. use another one better in your area. read more

Love love love love love! This is by far one of the best nail salons in the area. I get a regular pedicure and gel manicure, reasonably priced at $50. My nails are always shaped nicely to my approved length and last the full two weeks. I love their pedicures, the hot stone at the end is the best part. I do wish they would scrub a little more but I have found that unless you purchase the callus treatment they scrub only a little. The wait times are always reasonable and they tell you upfront how long it will be. Staff is always friendly and nice to speak with. read more

I got a gel manicure and it came out great. They are reasonably priced and the place is spacious and clean. Probably the best pedicure I have ever had. I agree with a previous review that the regular pedicure is what you would pay for an upgraded spa pedicure other places. They used hot stones and hot towels to massage my feet and legs. At only $25 for a pedicure of this level, their pricing is certainly more than fair. I was a walk-in on a Friday afternoon and they took me right away. The staff was friendly and definitely not rushed. I moved to this area a year and a half ago and have been looking for a good nail salon, I wish I found this place sooner but I will definitely be back! My only negative comment is that they don't have any magazines available, so if you like to read while having a pedicure, be sure to bring something of your own (although they do have the TV on). I have been traveling 45 minutes back to my old town for pedicures because I haven't been happy with other local salons- I am so happy that that will no longer be the case! read more
