They were able to repaint the trim and I took the opportunity to add a custom touch to my interior by changing the OEM silver color to a nice tan color. A few days later I was able to pick up the trim piece. The shape and texture of the dash piece did not allow for the painted trim to be 100% precisely masked so Excel offered to touch up some areas of overspray later in the week when the paint was completely dry. I wound up just taking care of the overspray myself and I even added some pinstripes with some vinyl wrap. I'm happy over all with the job excel did was glad they were able to help me out as quite a few shops refused to accept the job.

My lawyer that I got to handle my case told me that the lady insurance company claimed that I had previous scratches on the back of my car before they fixed it and I told him there's no way that car is brand new that I know what my car looks like I take good care of it so again I was at their office this morning asking for pictures and stuff that can show that I have prior scratches on the bumper of my car the scratches you see on the bumper of the car in the picture that I'm attaching are the scratches they're talking about and if you notice there's no damage to the left bumper so when was this picture taken in the repair process it looks like reflections of the ground to me but her insurance company is trying to claim that they were already there aside all of that that's another story this is a lawsuit case so I go in there this morning again I'm repeating myself the receptionist was the only one in the room she was sweet as an angel I was telling her about my situation the lawyer and the accusations of scratches being on my car prior to it being in their shop and I asked her do they take pictures of their work before and after and she said yes we do and she put very nicely was very cooperative sent them to my email and gave me an itemized billing statement I thanked her for went on my Merry way so later that afternoon I was looking at the picture she sent me and I saw one that looked like I had scratches all over my bumper but to me it's a reflection of the ground bouncing off the car so I pulled the picture up I stop by there on my way home she was behind the counter and I walked in and she turned into a demon the minute I said would you please look at this picture that y'all took and told me what you're what I'm looking at I said it just like that I was very polite she jumped down my throat and turned into the devil on the on the word go I couldn't believe it I'm like who is this person I'm talking to she said I'm not looking at that picture I'm not getting involved and that's it and I'm like why are you being so nasty to me you weren't like this this morning why are you being so ugly I'm not getting involved and I said well it's just a picture right here look at it and I showed it to her and she says I'm not looking at I refuse to look at it then there was another guy employee helping a lady in an office in the area there he's looking and listening everything so he decides he wants to jump in on the conversation and both of them want to talk to me and gain up on me I'm 65 years old I'm not going to take that lightly so I told him but I said what is wrong with you guys looking at a simple picture and telling me what I'm looking at you took the picture it came from your shop why you have a problem looking at your own pictures I'm not and I and I took my phone and I showed it to him at a distance and I said here looking he says no I'm not looking at it I don't want to look at it I'm not looking at it I said what is y'all's problem why you being so rude and hateful and then the receptionist yells out I'm calling the cops say what you calling the cops why because I'm asking you to do something for me so I guess it was their way of covering their behind because nobody overreacts like that if it's a simple thing obviously it wasn't a simple thing and they overreacted so I called the police back and I told him what really happened and I'm good to go because when they started tag teaming me I just showed up and walked right out of the place I didn't threaten nobody I was I didn't hit nobody I just ask somebody to look at a picture and they refuse to do it in a very rude hateful childish immature way tag teaming me both of them jumping down my throat that was no call for none if I were you I would run because now this is a separate case now I got to prove that those scratches were not there when they pickesd my car up if they are really scratches. I could tell immediately that this shop was a place that does high quality work! As soon as I entered I was greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic receptionist who was expecting my arrival. Before I knew it I was out the door with my rental vehicle keys in hand! During the course of time it took to repair my van I was in constant text message contact with the shop, informing me about every step of the process. When I returned to pick up my newly repaired vehicle, the manager himself walked me around the vehicle and explained everything that was done to my van, and he was absolutely correct, he does have "artists" working for him!
