You know those people you wish you could pay a million dollars?? That's Casey. I had a horrific bathroom leak that flooded through my upstairs to my basement bathroom. Casey super responsive- he drove to HEBER to assess the situation, then got the right wiring/fixtures/spackle/paint to fix it. He did everything to the highest quality standards so I felt it was both safe (even checking for mold damage) and looked like nothing had ever happened. I am beyond grateful for his expertise. Helped me in a pinch with a project. I paid him up front for supplies, and then paid him more than he quoted after the job was complete. Seemed like a nice person on the surface, but like most men in Utah, definitely a misogynist. He told me some story about a booty-call where a woman reached out for a hug, and the man stretched out his hand to shake her hand. It confirmed his issues with women, and how he stratifies them in his mind. Highly inappropriate comment. Granted, I am a very open person but I have my limits. Also, American men are SO tacky on all fronts! He tried charging me $120 to move a dozen small boxes that I ended up moving myself, because I needed to keep money for an apartment move. Also, tried to charge me another $120 to move a few items of furniture across a parking lot. I hired someone else. When I reached out for other work he completely ignored me. I'm assuming because I found another way, averting his high prices. My best advice to this business owner is perhaps grow up. Customers have every right to find more competitive prices, and hire people as it suits them. Emotions don't belong in business. read more
