Mr Hernandez explained how to set up the clock, adjust it to keep correct time and how to properly care for it. I showed him the original receipt from 1988 as well as the recent appraisal. He walked away to look at the ring and came back and told me it was a lab created diamond so would offer me a few hundred for the gold. I declined this offer and went back to the jeweler that did the appraisal and he stood by his appraisal that it was a genuine diamond and took it on consignment for thousands of $$ not a couple hundred $$. Good thing I didn't fall for the scam. Just want to make people aware that you might want to be leary about selling used jewelry at this store.

I can say my diamond is beautiful and I would have paid much more for it at other stores. I had picked out and purchased another ring at Helzbergs and they were more pushy to make a sale and when I returned it I felt they treated me badly. If you try to get something…read moretaken care of here be prepared for the "my hands are tied its a corporate policy" (store asst manager) "each individual store is responsible for warranty issues" (corporate) cycle. Nobody does anything but says we will send it in and in appx 4 weeks we can determine if a chipped diamond will be covered. A CHIPPED DIAMOND!!! Not only that the other 15 diamonds and bands are no longer covered by the warranty until the chip on the second smallest diamond is inspected and or fixed. Back to a 4 week wait to find out if it is chipped or not and if it is whose fault the chip was. It's just another corporation with policies full of loopholes to discourage you.
