Food and service was subpar. Cashier seemed to not know what she was doing. Ordered a chai tea latte and she rang it up as a green tea latte, when we pointed it out she said it's the same thing, which we assumed was referring to how it's rang in the register. But nope, when the drink was made they made a green tea latte. The chai tea latte is a Menu item btw, so maybe learn your menu. Another customer ahead of us also got his order fairly late, after 3 people behind him got their order. Again it seemed like the cashier did not know what she was doing, was placing the cups with written orders in the counter out of order. We also ordered 2 egg breakfast sandwiches that were still cold after being microwaved but at that point we spent too much time waiting so didn't bother to ask for them to be heated more, we just took the loss and left. If 0 stars was possible, I'd leave that. read more

Very friendly, easy place to bring babies/kids. I love that there are a lot of different flavors of coffee drinks, I get tired of drinking the same thing all the time. This place has been here for a super long time, but I think their coffee drinks have gotten worse. The coffee tastes very weak. I've tried quite a few times in the last few months and its been the same so it's not the person who is making the drink. Currently one of my favorite coffee locations. In addition to being a quick gift shop, found out they're locally owned for about 20 years. They have fast service and are very friendly. If you come here on their days we're they're roasting beans, don't get it confused. At first I thought they burnt pop corn, but then I remember seeing their machine in the back. The latte is really smooth. No crazy bitter taste. Ive has one of their dessert pastry..... it was like a cheese cake thing... AMAZING. Also the set up of their sofa just reminds me of Central Park in friends... ahah so this place generally puts me in a good mood when I walk in. read more

Wow I love the ambiance of this place! It has the vibe of a small town coffee shop and clearly has regulars which is always nice to see. They have a range of options for coffee and tea including really good specials. Normally I would say coffee shops have maybe one or two specials but when I went this week past weekend they had at least six special drinks on the menu for the holidays which I tried. I got the caramel pecan latte and it was amazing! We also got a seven layer bar to share and it was just as good. read more

A few weeks ago, I asked the barista at the local Peet's where she would go for coffee, excluding Peet's. She enthusiastically told me Clocktower. So, being of a mind to favor independent coffee roasters and shops over corporates whenever it's justified, I tried Clocktower on two different occasions, ordering Coffee of the Day both times. I'm sad to say that on both occasions, the coffee was unremarkable and both times were watery. The beans may have shown better life and taste if they had been prepared differently. I'll never know. But, both times I felt the coffee I was receiving was very diluted. Almost laughably watered down. So, I remain on my search for superior coffee that can match or exceed what I grind and make for myself at home. Your experience at Clocktower, I hope, will be better than mine. read more

The Caucasian lady with the glasses and tattoo on her wrist was rude and a b1tch. All I did was ask a simple question and wanted to know what a medium sized cup look like. Asked if I wanted cold or hot coffee and then in the tone of her voice as well as giving me a look as if though I had no privilege of asking a simple question. This all happened in front of my own kids. I never felt insulted especially towards the end of the new year so I took my business elsewhere. I'm a nice and well educated guy, so I expect to be treated in the same manner in return. If you don't like working at this establishment lady, go find another job that doesn't require customer skills or interaction because obviously your skills suck and is something that's left to be desired. read more

This place was awesome! I love little hole in the wall coffee shops that actually have great coffee. They have about 9 seasonal flavors and let me tell you the #1 to order is the "Buttered Rum Mocha" O-M-G!!! Delicious! Pretty average coffee place The wait staff are nice, which is good. The coffee quality is also ok--pretty much what you'd expect. The inside is kind of unique, with the entire place being a "souvenir shop" and a "coffee shop" at the same time. There is a reasonable number of tables inside. The wifi definitely sucks. It loads Google very quickly, but all other sites seem to be blocked. I tried clicking on results from Google searches for half an hour and they are all blocked with a "security cannot proceed message". Even major sites like Techcrunch.com are blocked. In the end I had to switch coffee shops, and everything worked, so I am fairly certain this Clocktower place blocks sites in their wifi system Also while I was typing away, I saw a MOUSE running around in the outdoor coffee tables, nibbling on some kind plastic food wrapper. They really should make sure the place is not mouse-infested :) Overall, would not recommend going to this place. read more

Clocktower is a good place to grab coffee. I passed through this mall area to get something before continuing on a road trip. What I found peculiar was that a number of German treats were available at the counter: Kinder, Ritter Sport, Hanuta, etc. Apparently it has to do with their distributor and the fact that a lot of their customers study at a German International School nearby (no surprise with the conversations flowing throughout the space). My order consisted of an ice blended drink and a pricey tea cake. The coffee was better than the pastry. Service was fine as they dealt with a sizable number of patrons. Plenty of seating both inside and out and the atmosphere is nice. read more

It's very good: dark, nutty, and chocolately: there is very little sourness. That's a refreshing break from the overly sour/cirtusy espresso you get at every 3rd wave coffee joint. The shot has good balance, however, the range is somewhat limited: it's not so limited that it's just "strong regular coffee", but it does prevent it from approaching god shot quality. A respectable shot, and you also get a larger than typical volume, even though it was just a single shot. Very high in caffeine. For Mountain View, my favorite espresso shots are this place, the Bicycle espresso at La PanotiQ bakery, and the Equator organic decaf at Alexander's Patisserie. read more

Happy staff, good atmosphere and good coffee. It's not the best coffee, mind you. I think the roast is a little dark for my taste, but that's just me. Not that that stopped me from coming here dozens of times over the past few years. They're incredibly efficient in their service and coffee-making, making it easy for you to be in and out and on your way. During Covid you of course can't hang out inside, but before, there was a lot of space to sit inside. You'd always find people on their laptops, people having meeting or friends catching up. There are a few schools in the area and I think this is a big hangout space for parents after school. read more

This is a nice hole in the wall kind of coffee place with small gift shop inside. Their coffee is pretty good. I tried their plain latte and it was really good. Also had their creme brûlée cheesecake which was very light and not overly filling.
