I stopped in to see what it was about. Mostly Costco scratch-and-dent for the same prices as the items would have been new at Costco.

After shopping at Macys for more than 35 years we're done with this once very good department…read morestore. It's understandable to me now why so many Macys are closing stores, and get so many poor reviews on YELP. I had a simple case of a gift card purchase at a Vons in Simi Valley for $200. It turned out that the card was tampered with and the money stolen shortly after purchase. With the assistance of Vons management (also very poor service) they got me in touch with Macys GC (gift card dept) to file a claim. After six pathetic weeks of incompetent emails back and forth regarding my case, the Macys GC dept alleged that the receipt that I provided along with pictures of the tampered with card were not a match. I advised them that one simple call to the Vons store management would have confirmed that it was. Apparently no such call was made as they stuck to their original incorrect conclusion that the receipt didn't match the gift card in question. So we are moving on from Macys and will be doing are shopping at Kohl's and other department stores in our area.

Their were no crowds because the Mall doesn't have an Anchor Store. The mall during the year plays music from the 1950's! Who are they trying to attract, 80 year olds? I was hopeful the New Management that took over this year would make a difference. They have not. I hope these reviews inspired the City to take action to better revitalize this wonderful space. Some positive things are the Wonderful SIMI VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL that was held here! I Highly recommend it!! I also admire and appreciate The Veterans Museum here that is Fantastic! I encourage people to go on weekends to check it out!

The shopping mall used to have an extension called The Village at Westfield Topanga, but it was sold to Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke in 2023 and is no longer affiliated with Westfield. [Parking]: Free parking at the shopping mall with no time restrictions, but the parking lot near AMC (facing Victory Blvd) was completely packed on Saturday afternoon. It is best to park in the parking structure facing Owensmouth Ave for a better parking experience. [Retails]: This is a really nice Westfield mall that caters to all visitors. The mall has a luxury collection with brands like Burberry, Gucci, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, and Celine. For those who are interested in modern collectibles, there are stores like Pop Mart, Qtoy, Sanrio, Miniso, LEGO, and Cash Cards Unlimited (a trading card store) to check out. The mall also has more practical beauty and clothing retailers such as Sephora and UNIQLO. Other anchor stores include Nordstrom, Target, and Macy's. [Topanga Social]: Westfield Topanga renovated the old Sears space into a new food hall called Topanga Social in 2023 and a new AMC Theatre in 2022. There are about 50% vacant food stalls as of July 2026, but this is also where visitors can find pop-up experiences such as The Loop (currently collaborating with Crunchyroll on a free immersive anime exhibit), JINYA Ramen Bar, Wanderlust Creamery, and Red Door Escape Room. There are TVs and tables where visitors can sit and watch sports games, but the TVs are muted. [Dining Terrace]: Dining Terrace is one of those classic food courts you would find in any mall and is located on the second level. While I was not surprised to see Panda Express, Genghis Khan BBQ Grill, and Chipotle, it was interesting to find food stalls like IJ Sushi Burrito that sells sushi burrito and poke bowl. [Other notes]: Neiman Marcus was closed earlier this year at this location due to the bankruptcy of its parent company. Cheesecake Factory and Chubby Cattle are also located at this mall. [Conclusion]: I am a big fan of this Westfield mall and can easily see myself revisiting this mall whenever I am in the San Fernando Valley area.

You have the main department stores with Macys and Nordstrom and the retailer store Target. They're all situated on either ends of the mall. I don't think Neiman Marcus is still open as they're closing stores here and there. I just came for a wander around to kill time but of course the stores calls you in. Window shopping which always lead to actual shopping. With the newer wing that houses all the higher end stores. The original food court still does pretty well but I can't say much with the Topanga social and it didn't last long. You have all your classic stores and then the higher end which this mall does offer a lot. Compared to the other Westfield, it's way bigger and better. There's plenty of parking both with covered structures as well as open lot. A good amount of restaurants surrounding as well as a movie theatre. It's your one stop shop.

Not sure what was in that space before. Now if they find a replacement for Romano's Macaroni Grill, El Paseo Simi will be in really good shape as a local shopping / dining plaza. Still love their landscaping and water features. So many shopping centers these days seem to cheap out on design / décor items, so I like to celebrate those that keep it visually interesting. Due to the late / prolonged Spring season, there are scads of brightly blooming trumpet vines all over the accent columns along the perimeter of the property. They are visible to passers by on Tapo Canyon Road and Alamo Street. Though it was on the cool side, with the center's landscaping, it was very pleasant to sit outside to enjoy our pizza at The Slice House last night as the sun was slowly sinking in the west. I could hear one of the water features splashing away nearby, which added to the peace of the moment. I'm a fan of visiting the businesses in this plaza due to the attention to its design and landscaping/hardscaping décor.

If you're a parent considering these shoes, here's what I wish I had known…read more I bought a pair for my daughter on July 24. They were $100, which I took as a signal of quality and safety. Kids' shoes should last. They should protect, not create problems. After three months, the light in the sole stopped working. Disappointing, but not why I'm writing this. At four months, the Velcro failed completely. My daughter's foot began popping out while she walked. Not inconvenient--unsafe. I tried to resolve it. I called the store. No answer. I emailed corporate on December 2nd and was told they might help if the light failed within three months and asked for photos. When I sent them, the email bounced back. I tried again. Same result. I tried a different email. No response. I went into the store on December 12th. I was told it was outside the three-month window and nothing could be done. I had been back in the store weeks earlier, buying boots for my daughter, assuming this was a brand I could trust. So here's the warning: if you're paying $100 for a child's shoe, know that it may last four months--and when it fails in a way that affects your child's safety, you may be on your own. I won't make that mistake again.
