Extremely frustrated and disappointed. My husband and I ordered a reclining loveseat April 10. It was supposed to take "6-8 weeks" to arrive. Every time I call, the woman on the phone seems annoyed with me, and tells me the company who makes the sofas is just "really behind." Today I was told it will be another 2 weeks **before they can give me an estimate** for how much longer this will take. Now after reading the reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence, and nothing new for them. The people in the store were nice. We paid approx $3000...to possibly be scammed. I may end up cancelling my order, but I see from other reviews they're also difficult about refunds. This is ridiculous. read more

I ordered a sectional sofa and I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. Every week I was told it would come next week. It's been 6 weeks and it still hasn't arrived with no expected delivery date. I finally ordered it from a different store and it only has a one week window. I asked for a refund to my credit card, and after a week it still has not been done, nor have I received any invoices or messages that they did, in fact, request it. I have been a customer of this shop for over 10 years. My partner and I have purchased many items here and have been happy with the service and with the delivery...until now. I ordered a recliner chair. I already have 2 of the same chairs purchased at this store, but gave them to my daughter who lost everything in the Palisades Fire. When the guys delivered the chair and went to attach the needed parts, they didn't have any tools. they asked me if I had tools. The delivery fee was $120, but I guess I should have paid extra for tools. They tried to use a very sharp knife to screw in the necessary part. I asked them to please be careful to not accidentally rip the chair. When he was done and the screw was not screwed in at all and was scratched up from the knife, he said "that's how its supposed to be" "I know how to do my job" apparently not! Of course, when I asked for a discount on the delivery fee, they said I had already gotten a discount on the furniture and therefore I wasn't getting anything off of the delivery fee from them. Not great service. The owner had somebody else call me. I guess she didn't want to take the trouble to apologize for the issues. Oh well. read more

Second time buying a recliner from here. First time was over 4 years ago for my mom. Still in great shape and as comfortable as the day we bought it. So happy with the price, service, quality we went back just this week to get one for my mother in law. They still had the information from our other purchase that helped navigate us to get a similar one for my mother in law. The lady that helped us went over and beyond even had it delivered the next day in LA, so they deliver far distances. Highly recommended this furniture store. Horrible. I purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs along with a rug on March 18. I was told the table was "in stock" but then red flags went off when I was told at check out that "in stock" meant that it was in a warehouse up in San Francisco somewhere and that it could take a week or two to get it down here. I said it was fine bc there was no real rush but after the two week mark came and went, I called (they did not call to update me). I was told that the receipt said it could take up to 21 days. Well that's new. Apparently they don't do much business bc they're not selling any "in stock" products so the truck hasn't been down here but I was assured it would be there the following Thursday and they would call me to schedule delivery. That day also came and went so I called a few days later and was told that they didn't want to drive down here just for one item so the store wasn't going to wait and would send a truck to pick it up and that it will be here "early next week". Well that week was last week and I haven't heard a peep. Once again no one has ever contacted ME to let me know what's going on. Here we are 6 weeks later and still no table or rug. I wanted to support local businesses rather than buy online but this just reinforced online buying for me. I WILL be contacting the BBB as well as my credit card company to report fraud and have the transaction reversed. I think I've been patient longer than most people would be. read more

Their Selection is small for what we are looking for but I'm sure the Owner can order additional colors except on close out items since they order fabric. We stopped by to check out day beds/futtons/fold out love seat for our spare bedroom . a little more than I wanted to pay, for the selection but most of the sizes we looked at won't fit in our room with the other furnishings already there . Chris was amazingly helpful and went over each piece with me and then further described all my customizable options. He is both very fun and knowledgeable. David and Brandon delivered my Klaussner couch and went the extra mile to get into my flat. I have a very narrow stairway and Brandon crawled on his hands and knees with the furniture on his back to get it in the doorway. We went to 4 furniture stores, including Bob's and Ashley's, and out tested at least 20+ pieces. But the moment I sat in this Klaussner, I knew it was the one I was searching for. On top of that, Chris had my couch delivered the next day! (Other stores wanted me to wait 6 weeks for pieces I did not even love). Definitely worth the money; and the experience was a bonus.
