Look at the insane price of $50.
    Jetskie V.

Today I came across to this light. They price it for $50. I look at it in google with same serial number and it's $59 only. There's not much difference.it's a rip off. The new from the thrift store is already open and might be use too. But like I said Hello the price is too much for the thrift store. I ask the manager about it and he said "oh the last time I looked at it it's $200 online. I don't know where you found that price but I bet you it's not $200. Because I've been to look out in this light since last year and it never been $200. And he said too " oh you also have to pay shipping. So you mean you added some shipping charger out of the $50?Most websites don't charge for shipping. I came to your store why you care about the shipping? I bought a lot of stuff here and donate. But I notice this year their price started to go up specially vintage. I will stick to Second Story and Tiny Treasure instead. Their price is more reasonable even if it's a vintage. You are not a collector store you are local thrift store. You should price your item to what people can afford especially when people donated it only. You are now no difference with Goodwill, it's just all about business. I'm so sad about this. I used to like you not anymore.

Beautiful Mikasa crystal, vintage Carmen pattern. Super cheap!

I found this location and it is actually pretty neat and modern inside and I was told that their donation center is behind the building on the side where you can drop off all your donations. However, once I did find the area to donate. I did like how it is someone outside and there's labeled bins to put your donation items in. Unfortunately, the only thing I didn't like is that the guy really didn't help much and he noticed that it was a big bag I had to carry. I feel like they could have just helped out a little more, but overall, I feel like this Goodwill is very convenient and easy if you want to donate something you could just pull up in the bins is right there when I'm in the area and I have clothes to donate. I will come back to this location.

I asked if it was a mistake & she went to go & check. When she came back she said she couldn't change the price because on eBay the item was going for $80. I was surprised that goodwill has their employees checking eBay prices when goodwill themselves receive all these items for free. I wanted to add the Funko to my collection but it makes no sense that they mark up the prices per eBay postings. I might as well shop on eBay if that's the case.

There's something especially disappointing about going into a thrift store connected to an organization whose mission is supposed to be helping people, being quoted one price, being charged another, and then being told essentially, "Sorry, all sales are final." Jackie and I were shopping here and she picked out 13 comic books, along with clothing and several other items. The comics did not have individual prices clearly marked, so BEFORE purchasing them, we specifically asked the cashier how much the comic books were. She told us $1 each. Pretty simple. Thirteen comics, $1 each. When it was time to pay, Jackie needed to unlock her card on her phone, but she couldn't get an internet connection inside the store. She stepped next door to Ralphs to get a connection and unlock her card, then came back and completed the purchase. When we got home, Jackie realized the total was much higher than she had calculated, so we looked closely at the receipt. 12 Books -- $12.00 And then: 1 "bric" -- $24.99 Excuse me?? Apparently the 13th comic book somehow stopped being a "book" and became a $24.99 "bric." But here's the part that really bothered us: that $24.99 sticker was NOT on the comic/backing when we originally brought it to the counter. We specifically remember that because the lack of a price was WHY WE ASKED THE CASHIER HOW MUCH THE COMICS COST IN THE FIRST PLACE. After the purchase, however, there was suddenly a $24.99 sticker on the backing behind that comic. I'm not going to claim I saw who put that sticker there because I didn't. But I can absolutely say what we personally observed: it wasn't there when we asked the price, we were verbally told $1, and afterward there was a $24.99 sticker and a $24.99 "bric" charge on the receipt. We went back to the store thinking this would be an obvious mistake that could simply be corrected. Instead, we were told "all sales are final" and that Jackie could only receive store credit. No. "All sales are final" applies when someone buys something and later changes their mind. Jackie wasn't asking to return something because she didn't like it. She was disputing being charged $24.99 for an item she was specifically told would cost $1. And please don't dismiss this as "it's only $23.99." That money matters. Jackie doesn't have money to throw away. She has a mortgage and bills to pay, and like many people, she shops at thrift stores because she's trying to stretch her money. We have the receipt and photographs, and we're posting them with this review so people can see exactly what we're talking about. Buyer beware: ask the price, take a picture if an item isn't marked, and CHECK EVERY LINE OF YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR. Because apparently asking the price beforehand isn't enough.

Just a couple items of clothing and jewelry in the front display cases. This is a home furnishings consignment shop and a well curated one at that. The furniture was gently used, even the pieces that seemed dated looked good. So if you have a flare for 60s, 70s or 80s decor, you'd be able to fined some nice pieces here. Beyond the larger pieces, like display cases, dressers, bookcases, there were quite a few end and nesting tables, ottomans and sets of chairs and bar stools. Rather than stalls for each seller, the merchandise is arranged into "scenes." Living rooms, children's area, entertainment outdoor items and running throughout are various lamps, while cool chandeliers and other light fixtures hang down from above. Plenty of decor items, paintings, faux plants and kitchen items are also available. Today, I spotted some wigs on head forms, a bedazzled, rechargeable lighted vanity mirror, a lovely orbital decanter on a matching glass resting plate, and some cool wall clocks. They even have throw pillows, duvets, towels and rugs. Everything was priced fairly and some real finds can be had. I'll definitely be back to check stock regularly. Cheers! "CC"

They did have cute stuff although the prices for the bigger items like the baby play mats, rocking horse, play yard, etc, were nothing to write home about. The prices on the clothes seemed good. And they had a selection of toys which err'd on the side of pricey for being used toys, and some weren't in good condition. I did like the store, as a thrift aficionado, but the thing that stood out to me most about this store was that the customer service was sub-par. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed by the presence of me and my family and when it was just after 06:30pm, she made sure to let us know that she was closing in "15 minutes," even though the store closes at 7PM. She also said something to my 2 year old son that I didn't quite hear when I was a few steps away, and the tone of her voice wasn't very kind. I understand people have bad days and that some store owners don't enjoy you perusing their store for a while when your baby wants to look around- I honestly would've bought something if I'd found something I wanted. I think based on that experience I wouldn't return here but would instead go to the other thrift store up the street, Tiny Treasures, I believe it's called. They are always so friendly in there. I told him I have a lot of fragile items and he said, that's just how it goes. They don't have time to go through every box to remove each item. If they break, they go into the trash. He proceeded to ask why I cared if they broke and ended up in the trash anyways, and that I was just getting rid of the stuff. He misses the point of the purpose of Goodwill and the purpose of donations to an organization like this. Without going into this further, I donated the clothing and books to them, but left with my truck load of glassware, dinner sets, china, collectable plates and cups and found a place that truly accepts donations and puts them to good use. More importantly, the volunteer that I spoke to understood the true purpose of donations and what they are intended for. I didn't want these items ending up in the garbage, filling up our landfills here in Simi Valley. These are quality items that could be used to benefit human beings in one way or another. I was put off by a paid employee not caring enough about the mission statement he and the company represents.
