Second story is hands down the absolute best thrift shop in Simi Valley! It has the best prices and is so thoughtfully put together, clean and organized. The store is run completely by volunteers allowing the profits to go to the source of need in ending sex trafficking (providing homes, mentors, and love for the children, women and men pulled from the industry). I really like the store and I go fairly often but I had a bit of disappointing experience with them yesterday, which is why I'm feeling the need to leave her a review. And retrospective should've given them five stars in the past, but unfortunately, I think people tend to feel the need to leave reviews more often for disappointing situations then positive situations. With that being said yesterday, I went into the store unaware of the closing time when I walked in a lady, was walking through the store and said 10 minutes until closing. I understand it's important to stick to store hours and everyone was just doing their job but within those 10 minutes there was about 20 people shopping through the store that were rushed into line and didn't get to purchase things they might've wanted to purchase. From a business owners point of view, I would not be rushing people out like that if it meant that it would actually bring in more income into my business. They were rushing to get everyone cashed out to the point where they were careless and forgot to give all of the items to one lady and I had to watch one of the clerks chase down her car in the parking lot. While waiting in line, they started vacuuming the entire store before everyone cashed out. Which I understand you have to get your business clean but to go up to my toes with your vacuum while I'm standing in line waiting to purchase items at your business was fairly rude. Normally everyone in the store is very helpful when I have questions and I had a question about a piece of jewelry while I was waiting in line and they said we can't have you look at the display case today you can come back tomorrow. I was about to purchase all of my belongings and just wanted to look at a watch in the display case yet they refused even though the store technically wasn't closed for another five minutes. Overall, I do love the store and I still will continue to recommend it, but we definitely not go near closing hours because the attitude of the employees seemed to change and they were irritated that people were still there. Very cute and well organized little boutique shop. Seasonal items are usually up front near the registers. They almost always have some sort of promo, watch for the signs! There isn't a whole lot of clothing items to choose from, a small rack of children's and men's, and a few racks for women. You'll find all sorts of household knickknacks here too. read more

This is my all time favorite 2nd hand store. They are all amazing volunteers that work there. All of the proceeds go to helping child trafficking victims. They have such nice stuff. Beautiful women's clothing, purses and shoes. Gorgeous jewelry, home decor items and so much more. I've bought so many things from there for my kids and myself. They also have a men's section. while it was neat, organized and had a good selection for house goods and decor, i wouldn't call this the best thrift store in the area. their selection of clothing did not have much variety and was catered to a very specific group of people after walking in, the woman who seemed to be the owner stared at me and my boyfriend with a blank face and walked away. i wasn't upset at this too much but after seeing her be so friendly to other customers it was unsettling. at the register, i noticed she was very friendly to other customers but did not say a single word to me. i found one small cute purse for 7$ i was originally going to give two stars because i felt pretty unwelcome and a little uncomfortable and the reviews i read gave me such high hopes for this place but three stars because i do enjoy their story and purpose. read more

This place is so nicely organized with great things to pick from. The prices are very reasonable. I was able to find a vintage medicine bottle, a wine glass and a brand new set of facial products all for less than $5. Also the staff is very nice and helpful. My mom found this place this morning and called me so excited about it. She described her experience as, "I was walking by and saw this sign that said thrift store but I when I went inside it smelled so nice like a boutique. Everything was displayed so pretty and I was so confused. I asked the lady working and she told me it was a thrift store and the proceeds went to helping battered women. You need to come see!" So later in the day I visited and I was truly impressed. There is an overwhelming smell of something lovely and I love it. So much nicer than the "thrift store smell" yuck. When you walk in the first thing you see if complimentary coffee from a Kuerig. (Very nice.) Clothing is organized by size and displayed cleanly and neat. The baby section is made up very cute, displaying the toys in a way where the kids can also play while visiting. There's a rack in the back where everything was 25¢ and I found a cute little cotton dress for my Bebe. Twenty five cents! There was a lot of things to buy and everything was insanely cheap. Much cheaper than Goodwill. A small store, but plenty to offer. read more

I absolutely love this store! Its not too far from my house and I enjoy coming in on saturdays. I enjoy the fact they email you (when you sign up in store) the sales of the week. They have a lot \good of clothes and other household stuff. They don't have much furniture. There is a little dressing room in the back to try on clothes. The clothes were very well organized by type and size. Plenty of parking. They accept credit cards. What a great find. I was in the parking lot to visit another store and chanced upon this store. Very reasonably priced and went to town loading my car with some great goodies including paintings, dishes, jewelry! For sale are - kitchen ware, clothes, games, art decor, picture frames, bags, shoes to name a few!
