We wanted to add a built in entertainment center and bar as well as some built in bookshelves and cabinets, and Closet Factory had very good Yelp reviews. We had the pleasure of working with Nas who came for an extensive complimentary consultation. She spent about 2 hours with us going over all the options and working out a design on her computer. The price she quoted was very reasonable, and she offered an extra 10% off if we paid using a credit card rather than financing. Several weeks later Alex and Greyson arrived for the installation which took two full days. They couldn't have been friendlier and were very respectful of the home by wearing booties and laying down tarps to protect the floors and carpets. There was one small error - the handles we wanted were installed in the wrong color. One quick call to Nas, and she arranged for the installers to return the following week with the correct color. They insisted on not accepting our final payment until the issue was rectified. The overall quality of the items seems better than I expected, and the doors all have soft close hinges as a standard feature which often costs extra elsewhere. I scheduled an in-home design consultation with Closet Factory and unfortunately left disappointed with the overall experience. My appointment with designer Nazarena Ippich was scheduled for 4:00 PM. After waiting past the appointment time, I had to call the office to find out where my designer was. The receptionist was apologetic and had to track her down. Nazarena eventually called me at 4:15 PM and arrived around 4:30 PM, later admitting that she had written down the wrong appointment time. When she arrived, I explained that I needed to leave by 5:15 PM for another commitment. Despite the shortened appointment window caused by her late arrival, I tried to explain my vision for the project. What surprised me was the lack of design input. As a homeowner, I'm hiring a designer because I want professional ideas, creativity, and recommendations. Instead, I felt like I was expected to provide most of the direction. Nazarena took measurements and worked on a rough design and quote. Before leaving, she confirmed my email address and told me she would send everything later that day. As of the following day, I had received no email, phone call, or text message. This was especially disappointing given the earlier scheduling issue. My wife and I are investing in what we consider our forever home. We're not financing the project and are prepared to pay for quality work and service. Throughout this process, I've met with several designers, contractors, and builders, and most have been attentive, responsive, and professional. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I hope Closet Factory addresses these communication and customer service issues because first impressions matter, especially when customers are making significant investments in their homes. read more

I'm in process of decluttering the house and after Erica came by to our place for two months back for quote. Not only my anniversary jewelry was missing after her visit, now my walking closet carpet was brutally sliced with an portable cutter knife. I wouldn't recommend Closet Factory just because of this horrible experience. My diamond necklace is missing. I am so sad and mad for ever letting my husband contact this company just because there contracted with Costco. I probably have to call the company for this matter. It was a long journey for us. We ordered a new builded home from Toll Brother's. About 3 months ago, we started shopping for new closet organizer for our master closet and a guest closet. Luckily we found closet factory and Amando. We knew very little about closet organizer (other than it looks really nice and my wife wants one that can hose her purses, shoes and has laundry hampers). Amando has spent a great deal of time explaining what is possible with a closet organizer and putting a sample configuration base on our closet measurements. It was a very long educational process and Amando has patiently but efficiently explain the pro / con and relative cost of different features. My wife and I finally has some ideas of what is possible. Then we went out to do some internet search to find pictures of closet that we like and we succeeded. We took the picture to Amando and he merged the layout with the features that we want and viola, out come our closet layouts. My wife was very concerned about the cost and Amando gave us some tips in choosing options that can lower the cost and the final projects come within our budget. Kudos to Amando to make these 2 closet happen for us. The install team of Evans, Mason and Daniel are spectacular. They arrived on time, clean up each day after they are done and they are ahead of schedule. We had a 3 days install and each day, they finish their work ahead of the schedule. Quality of the closet are excellent. They are much thicker and sturdy than IKEA closet organizer that we crossed shopped. I am hopeful that these 2 closet organizer s can outlast us. read more

My husband called to set up an appt for a quote. Armando, our designer, called to confirm the appt the day before and showed up on time. He was very professional and easy to work with. He helped design 3 rooms for us (my son, daughter and guest room) He informed us that the lead time was about 4 weeks out which we were ok with. Day of installation, Jose and Danny, phoned me to let me know they were 30min out. They arrived promptly, introduced themselves and got to working. They did say the project should take until about 230pm and they were right. Jose and Armando were very professional, organized and efficient. And when everything was done they even vacuumed up to ensure everything was clean. So far we are satisfied with the closets and would definitely recommend them. read more

He helped us with ideas for where to place things to maximize the space and avoid overcrowding. He went above and beyond to make sure we would have a space we love he communicated very efficiently to get the project started, and once the work begun, he continued communicating to ensure the project would be completed with precision to meet our expectations. We hired Closet Factory to do the den bookcase, laundry room floating cabinets and master bedroom walk in closet. Our designer, Thomas, was great. He was very accommodating to all the changes that we had. He also had many suggestions and the changes were a result of both inputs. (Note it's good to have an idea to start off with, even if it's a basic idea; you can also just search the internet for pictures.) Install started off rocky with first installer (probably new hire) but they then assigned a second installer, Drew. Drew did a phenomenal job correcting the problems done by the first installer. He was very meticulous and did a great job installing trim to hide gaps (note the rooms will never be the perfect square of rectangle so there will be some gaps.). One of the installation days, Scott came and assisted and he knew his stuff also. Overall very happy with how these projects turned out. At the end of the project, my expectations were far exceeded! It didn't start as I had expected. I was assigned a designer and after meeting with her for over two hours, I didn't like what she had designed based on the pictures I provided by trying to piece ideas together from 3 different photos. I might not have communicated what I was asking for correctly. I called and asked for a new designer, that's when Pam arrived to the rescue. I provided Pam my pictures and vision and within an hour she had the design completed just as I had envisioned. We had a standard pantry, closet and wall closest installed. The wall closet looks like a high-end piece of custom furniture. Mason and Travis installed all 3 projects and were very meticulous and detailed...they did not overlook any of the small details. They were installing our projects over 3 days and always kept me informed of arrival times and timelines for installing each project. Pam is already designing my next project and I have requested Mason and Travis to do the install. Lisa came to our home, took space measurements, recommended additional electrical outlets (based upon the new layout), and made wood and counter recommendations. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with them and although the wait time from when our consultation was completed to work being started was a two month wait - we still opted to use their services. Although we did have a good experience overall with the company's employees, there are suggestions I would make: Pricing - overall I think the pricing is much more expensive than what we had expected. We don't have a large master closet, so I don't think the price is justified. Quality is decent but we weren't impressed by the completed work. There were still some imperfections we noticed afterwards which the employee later corrected, but it's still not up to par as I would like. For the price we paid, i would have expected it to have lights or glass doors at least, yet ours is very simple and basic with some shelving and cabinets. Service - it took a day for someone to call us back to schedule our in-person consultation. our designer was very nice and we felt comfortable discussing our selections with her; however, it took about 2 hrs for our in-home consultation. The designer was very thorough and detailed which I appreciated. On the day the closet work was scheduled, they only sent one person to do the closet and it took two full days of us being at home waiting for the work to be completed. We had to stay at home from 9 am to 6 pm for two days and knowing what I know now, I think the company should of sent an additional helper out to finish the project at a reasonable time. Although we were notified that the project would take two days, it seemed excessive and I'm not sure if it's due to the lack of employees available to do the work or not, but we would of appreciated a faster finish time. Secondly, once we were told that the work was done, we went to see the finished project and was surprised that our cabinets had multiple hole details on the sides of the cabinets (which we weren't informed of) as we had expected it to have a clean finish without the multiple holes on the sides. My husband was not happy about it but the closet was already installed. In conclusion, we definitely wished we had a more positive feeling once the work was completed but we do feel as if we overpaid for the work that was done. There were details on the project that we should of been informed of and changes that I hope they make in hopes of making it a better experience for customers in the future. read more
