After reaching out to several companies to get an estimate for a loft conversion to a bedroom. We ultimately decided to go with Tridel construction due to the initial on-site assessment and the in-depth walkthrough provided from their team. Tridel Construction's bid was a little higher than other competitors in the area, but we did like the description and process better, such as working with the city for permits. Dan Antoci was our project manager for the loft conversion. A few electrical outlets needed to be run in different locations in the bedroom, walls needed to be built, drywall, and repainting needed to be completed. The team worked almost every day, including one day on the weekend for about 2 weeks straight. There was one minor issue when building the closet area where the wood was on-top of the carpet, but they fixed that during the conversion when my husband and I had mentioned it to Dan. We found out that Tridel Construction only does that during new construction. We have a few cats. We wanted to make sure that the area was well-cleaned during the project build-out and construction. During the build-out, there were multiple nails left on the floor, sharp tools, which my husband and I picked up, as well as we had to perform additional vacuuming in some areas for left over drywall. During the project, there was issues trying to update invoices and contract agreements for the appropriate and accurate information. It took some time, but eventually at the end of the project, we were able to get everything updated as intended with the help of Sasha! Inspectors for the house showed up on time and the team was pretty much available each morning during the 2 week project from 8 a.m. - 4:00 P.M. Some days did end early around 3:30, while other days went a little longer until 4:30 P.M. There wasn't necessarily a complete set schedule. The room does look great! I'm not sure if I'll use their services for future projects though due to some of the hiccups. read more

We recently used Tridel to turn our covered patio at the front of our house into a gym/playroom. They had done similar work for a neighbor with our same home layout, so we knew that they did quality work and would be familiar with the home design. From the start, we couldn't have been happier with the services that they provided. Our project manager, Max, was amazing and was really thorough at walking us through every aspect of construction since we had no idea what we were doing! He helped us design our custom door for the project so that it would work with the blueprints and was always available if there was a delay or issue with the construction process. Throughout some of the minor construction hiccups that occurred, he had great communication and was able to fix any concerns or problems that we had pretty quickly. The crew was very respectful of our home and our space, and we felt very comfortable having them come and go while we were at work to get stuff done. I just completed one project (adding a steam shower) that became multiple projects (removing carpets and replacing flooring, fixing some electrical and wiring issues, some other small jobs as well), as my wife kept wanting to remodel things around the house as she liked all the work being done. I believe this will be the third time that we've used Tridel, and each time it has been excellent. Straightforward, great attention to detail, and things get done right the first time. I have used contractors before and it's hit or miss, and when a shot call is made it, more often or not misses and things get messy. With Tridel, shot calls are well made, and I don't have to worry about second-guessing their work. I'm also comfortable with having their team working on the house, as my wife and I were traveling part of the time while they were working. Everyone is very professional, courteous, and they're happy to explain anything they're doing if you care to know. There are no surprise bills, or unexpected charges, as everything is explained upfront and when changes are made, new invoices or sent so you know exactly what's going on. My project manager, Max, was a joy to work with, and we got along great with him and the rest of the crew. We had an addition put on the front of our house and moved our laundry room upstairs. We asked Tridel to give us a quote, which they did and were in the same relative ballpark as the other companies we were looking at. However, some companies said they needed plans before being able to properly bid the job, so we paid Tridel $5k to draw up the plans for us. Though the pictures were correct the actual measurements were incorrect!! And we hired a different contractor to build the addition and they went 100% off the plans. So now we are stuck with an addition that isn't parallel to our existing garage structure and pushes out past it. It would have cost us an additional $10k to fix that mistake once our contractor already ordered the trusses (which we could not afford) On a positive note, their production supervisor Jack Flaksman was very friendly and gave us lots of his time. read more

After about 6-7 appointments with contractors for a local project there was only one company that: 1) Showed up when they said they were going to show up. (Without the need to remind them that they had not sent me one. Looking at YOU, bad contractors). Not only did Tridel give me an estimate but a professional folder, with a work guarantee, and paperwork on all their certifications. 3) Did not make my wife mad (By not listening to her ideas with an open mind, AKA, "not coming from a place of 'No,' when she reveals how she wants to wallpaper the ceiling). My masterbath needed a remodel, beginning with the removal of a wall. The project required an electrician, a plumber, a drywall person, a painter and someone to install new flooring. I contracted with a third party cabinet company and had the cabinet rendering ready. They assigned Dan Antoci as my Project Manager. We've had Tridel remodel three rooms for us on two different occasions. Yes we're repeat customers. I carefully vetted them before asking them out for an estimate. They have several licenses, no official complaints, and are insured. They're a large firm that uses mostly their own crew with occasional subcontractors as needed. Every craftsman that has come to our home has done excellent work. The company took care of all permits for us and provided the documentation required by our HOA when needed. I removed one star due to some issues that they are having with communication. I have addressed the issue with them, and they are working on it. Part of it seems to be growing pains and an over abundance of business. Kathy in the office has been great about helping with communication, and our latest project manager, "Bear," advocated voraciously for us when things went awry. These guys did a horrible job on my kitchen backsplash, floors and master bathroom shower redo. When I called them back they did nothing but give excuses about the flooring material not being "good" which is something they should have brought to our attention instead of just blindly installing it. Had to have them back twice to fix the kitchen windows they replaced for me due to leaks and not being sealed properly (ended up getting someone else to fix them the third time) Our master bath shower. After a complete retile job still leaked and the tile isn't even straight. Kitchen backsplash. Cracked tiles. Poor cut job around the pasta arm. When I called these guys back to look at all the problems they had the nerve to send me a new quote for another 10k+ (minus a "generous" discount of 2k lol) to fix all the problems. I will say that the hardwood they did in my wife's library was pretty good but overall I wouldn't let these guys build a dog house let alone handle any future renovations I need. read more

After deciding to completely redo my kitchen at the beginning of the year I did some research on Yelp and called Tridel and another highly-rated company. Max and Bear came out to see what I wanted to do and gave me a few suggestions on touches I hadn't thought of while at the same time staying very low-pressure and easy to work with. They also came back with the better quote - I went with them and am very happy that I did! After shopping around, ordering and collecting the materials for the job, the project started and moved at a very good pace. There were several trades involved and the project was all coordinated well and everything that needed to be done was done. Fortunately there were no major issues, but the minor snags that popped up throughout (as they do in every project) were all dealt with by Max perfectly - he had a solution for everything. And all of the workers were also friendly and good at their jobs. I made one minor addition, mid-project, that wasn't in the original contract, and they charged me very fairly for it. We were going to move in Vegas in September 2020. We know we would have to remodel The master bathroom ASAP. My mother-in-law met with Vlad from Tridel and we had a FaceTime walk through with our plans. It was the first of many bids,that was the only company that was willing to put in a zero gravity entrance into the walk-in shower we needed. We did not come up with a plan until The middle of November and the job was done a little after Christmas. Throughout the whole process, Vlad was great. He went shopping with us for The tiles in the bathroom floor, the cabinets for the bathroom and the slab of quarts we want it. Vald came by every day the construction crew was here. Hen made sure we we were happy with the process, workmanship, and cleanup. We decided to wait with our project. The estimator that came out was very profesional.

We had a very difficult time with Tridel doing a kitchen remodel and changing our downstairs floors. They began work without ever finalizing a plan with us and it was a downward spiral since. They blamed that on someone who left the company but why didn't the newly assigned project manager review it with us? Communication with our project manager was very difficult. We couldn't text more than one question at a time or he will just respond to one and ignore all of the rest. Sometimes he didn't respond at all. We paid for custom cabinetry and had all kinds of problems because the project manager did not communicate well with the cabinet supplier. Our appliance measurements were given but the fridge and microwave did not fit. Numerous issues with electrical outlets not being in the right places for the appliances or not having the right kind of outlet installed at all. We asked for an outlet to be installed in the side of the island but the project manager did not communicate this to the countertop fabricator and it was too late to add it when he remembered. The project manager provided bad measurements for the kitchen backsplash and floors causing us to have far more material than we would ever need. Huge waste of money when they could have just taken the time to measure properly. They installed new lighting above the island and messed up the positioning based on the project managers suggestion. After getting it in the right spot they patched the holes from the bad spots, textured the ceiling but then refused to paint the ceiling. So now we need to bring in painters for a few small spots. Very unprofessional. You should fix your mistakes fully, not 80% of it. Once all of the work was finished they refused to clean up all of the mess from the construction, even though the plan says "thorough cleanup". Very unhappy with this company, mainly it seemed like the project manager was inexperienced and didn't know what he was doing. read more

What can be said about Tridel, other then EXCEPTIONAL! Moved into my new build home and being as bougie as I am, wanted to tweak and add a few things after closing escrow. I wanted one bedroom expanded into the next bedroom and make the remaining part of that room and office. This included moving back a wall, closing up a door way, opening a different doorway, rerouting electrical, repaint, molding, laying new vinyl in the office etc. I also had Tridel ship lap an accent wall in my loft, had a pocket door put in my downstairs guest room, had upper cabinet lightening installed to match my under cabinet lightening in my kitchen, and lastly had them build a floor to ceiling 10ft wide wall feature with inlay of my 85" tv, a sound bar, and a 60" long electric fireplace. So now that you know what I had Tridel do in my home, let me tell you what it was like working with them! From the first appointment we had with Issac and Max to talk about what we wanted done, they were on time, they wore masks due to Covid, and they were thorough and matriculate in writing down everything we wanted. They gave us ideas and some more vision, but never over stepped in what our vision was. Within a week, they sent us over an estimate and they were very reasonable and competitive with their pricing. After excepting the estimate, we signed a contract and Tridel gave us a start date. They immediately started construction, they were very good at taping everything off to reduce the amount of dust getting all over my new home. The job took about 6 weeks. Max was the one that kept constant communication with me, when I should be expecting his workers each day and coming sometime everyday to check on progress. He also met up with us to pick out material which was very punctual and easy. These guys that work for Tridel, Sam and Andrew were our main guys, were so awesome, friendly, and always punctual! Even working with the office ladies was always a pleasant experience. I am so incredibly happy and beyond satisfied with the work Tridel Construction did in my home, a long review was absolutely necessary! I would recommend this company to anyone! Their work is impeccable and the detail they focus on really shows through their work! And BONUS, after all the construction was done they sent a cleaning crew to clean my whole house! I worked with Tridel, and the quality of the work was excellent. i had my kitchen tile floors demolished, removed and replaced with new vinyl plank flooring, and made some alterations to the fireplace. also had two bathrooms completely refinished.
