I have had several other companies come out and do remodeling in my home (new floors, complete kitchen redesign, etc) and I've gotten used to expecting there to be minor flaws here and there. I've been wanting to update the two bedroom closets in my condo for several years and I am so happy that I finally made the call. After speaking to Scott, I was assigned to designer Alzbeta. Scott told me that she would take great of me, and she did! Alzbeta came to my home (full Covid protocols), took measurements and photos, and immediately had some great ideas in mind for solutions that work for my exact needs, particularly in my challenging "walk in" master closet. Within a few days, she sent 3-D renderings of proposed designs for both of my closets, and in with just a few back and forth emails and calls, she created a wonderful design for both closets, at a what I thought was reasonable price point. When it came time for the installation, the crew (full Covid protocols) were prompt and did an excellent job installing both closets in just a couple of hours. I found closet solutions on yelp & houzz. The reasons I went w/ closet solutions is that they were willing to work w/in my budget and they have a quick response time. I spoke to Scott to schedule an appt. He was professional & courteous and asked a few questions regarding what I wanted in a closet. Theresa was the personalized closet consultant. She assisted me in finding out what would work with my budget and still look nice. She has done this for 10 yrs. She found ways to maximize my order while staying within my budget. I made 2 additions to my order & she was able to quickly accommodate it & get my project done on time. Lenin installed the closet in 2 walk in closets and did a wonderful job. he has an eye to detail and was careful with my crown molding, flooring, furniture & walls. When the project was complete, he had me inspect everything in case anything had to be addressed. He & his coworker always wore a mask and wore their own shoe covers (they wore the shoe covers properly, only wearing them inside the house!). When they were bringing supplies into the house, they were always careful with my walls and furniture. They laid out protective blankets on my hardwood floors and on the walls if they were leaning an object on my painted walls. He also cleaned up afterwards. After setting up my appointment, Ronald came out to our home to take detailed measurements and discuss, in depth, what both my husband and myself wanted from our closet space (which, of course, was vastly different). With this information, Ronald came up with, on his first draft, an incredible design which we quickly approved with only one minor change. We had Closet Solutions do a remodel of our reach-in closet, which had huge mirrored doors. We got estimates from 3 companies, and Closet Solutions was not the lowest one we got, but they were not that far off. The reason we decided to go with Closet Solutions was the designer that was assigned to us, Theresa Stenger. She was very thorough, responsive, clear, and attentive to our needs and preferences. I talked to her at length over the phone and in emails, and we were actually able to nail down a design without them having to come to our house. I provided measurements and photos and she provided a 3-D rendering of the new closet and quote. Of course once we decided to move forward, she came to inspect and make sure my measurements were correct! I liked that Theresa seemed to pay as much attention to detail as I did, and didn't take any design elements for granted without asking me, like some of the other companies did. I knew if I had a question or concern, I could reach out to her and get a quick response or reassurance. We were very happy with how our closet turned out! It looks exactly like the sketches, or probably even better! Lenin was one of our installers and he was also very attentive to any concerns we brought up. All Covid safe. We upgraded to triple track mirrored doors, which is a game changer! Highly recommend those. Also recommend removing all crown moldings/floorboards prior to installation to make sure the wall surfaces underneath are good, especially if installing new track doors and you don't know the exact surfaces that will be now exposed (see our pics). I set out on this journey to have my closet fully remodeled about two years ago and each time I just stoped the process. I stumbled upon Closet Solutions as I work out at a gym down the street from the Harbor city location. I initially contacted and spoke with Steve who is the owner of Closet Solutions. Scott referred me to Vee Wesson who was my closet consultant. Vee came out took measurements and gave me a ton of ideas on how to make a very small closet work. The next day I received a 3-D drawing of my closet and I was sold on the concept. We then put the plan in motion to set our installation day which was six weeks later. The day of installation was smooth as pie... The installer came early, finish the entire closet within 3 1/2 hours and was very professional. Left zero mess and he even put down blankets to cover the entire surface as not to track any dirt on the carpet. From start to finish the process was great. After installation the same day the owner Scott contacted me to make sure that I was satisfied and I was definitely satisfied I would recommend this company to anyone. A custom built closet is definitely an investment, but is totally worth it with the right company. Most of the other quotes we got were significantly more expensive. While more affordable sometimes means a lack of quality, Closet Solutions showed that it doesn't have to. Theresa was great during the design process and extremely responsive. She took our needs and created a plan tailored to us. Lennin, the guy who actually installed the closet, was amazing. This review is criminally late but I couldn't let it sit on my conscience to not write one for how great I felt my experience was with Scott. I had several businesses quote our master bedroom's closet project over this past summer but it was Scott's professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to talk about every idea I had had (beyond what he came to look at) that sold me. Even after I signed the contract, when I reached out to talk about upgrading small parts of the project, Scott had no problem adjusting it for me. When install day finally came, it was smooth and done in a matter of hours and the end result? Perfect. It was exactly what I had wanted and looked even better than I imagined. I actually smiled at seeing the closet every time I walked in the room for the first week because I was *that* happy with it. In fact, I just had a business come out for a quote on getting custom doors made for it and they themselves asked me who did the closet because they thought it was really well done. Called closet solutions and made a free in house consultation for the next day, which only took about 20 mins to measure the 3 closets I was planning to upgrade. Theresa, the designer, got back to me the next day with some designs based on my needs with pricing breakdown and delivery timing. Demolishing and installation took about 6-7 hours for 3 closets.
