It seems at times there was a lack of communication between the person doing the quote, the scheduler, the project supervisor and the painters. A couple missed spots were quickly fixed and everything looks great. Clean up afterwards could have been a little better, but overall we are very pleased with the work they did.

My husband and I got our bathroom redone less than a month ago, spent over $15,000 for a complete…read moreremodel. our start date got pushed without our knowledge(first red flag) . We were told (and paid for) our subfloor to be replaced but while the person was there to do the work we were told he was unaware of that and that the subfloor was fine. It has been less than a month when the bottom of the toilet started leaking. My husband called and was told he would have someone out the following day. That never happened. In the midst of all of this we have been potty training our little one and woops, she went on the potty after we had drained the water. So we had to clean up that mess (and try not to be upset that we had to clean that mess up since she did everything right!) So now we have duct tape on the toilet. What a look. My husband followed up the following week, and they said oh we'll have someone out in two days. Now your company states it is just a plumbing issue and it is not in our contract to fix. So now we have had a bathroom remodeled for less than a month, and have not been able to use the toilet for almost two weeks. We are out a pretty penny and have a toilet with duct tape over it. Your company has refused to take responsibility. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service are unacceptable. I trusted them for quality work, but they failed to deliver and won't stand behind their work. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable service.

Where do I start? Let's start with "do not patronize JFD!" I found JFD on Angie's List and have had…read moresuccess with companies from Angie's List in the past. We were in dire need of a new shower and reached out to JFD. Unfortunately, we wish we would have contacted someone else. Everything seemed to go smoothly until approximately one week after installation. We noticed water dripping onto our basement floor. I called a local plumber who could not find the origin on the leak and recommended I contact another company who successfully diagnosed the leak. After 4 hours or so, the company determined the leak was coming from our newly installed third floor bathroom. Never did we think for a second the leak would be from our brand-new bathroom. As a result, the walls in my home were opened to allow blowers to dry out the inside of our walls and prevent the risk of further mold & mildew. Additionally, our kitchen backsplash was ruined, as was our built-in stovetop (currently sitting on makeshift 2x4 legs). I have sent emails and called both the V.P. & President of the JFD to express my displeasure & request restitution and have received minimal to no response. So, in addition to having to pay full price for a subpar install, we are on the hook for $4,500 from the company that rectified the error. This does not include whatever costs we will pay to update our kitchen, too. Due to the faulty installation, my family has been through an absolute nightmare & JFD could care less! I would only recommend this company to someone if I really disliked them!
