I wanted to take a moment to review Molyneaux flooring and the sales person, Rob Celedonia. After a preliminary phone call to discuss our carpeting project, budget, and timing, Rob came to our home to calculate the floor space as well present us with carpet options that matched our plan for the overall project. Rob demonstrated a deep knowledge and understanding of the various carpets, and delivered a matter-of-fact presentation of the products. What pleased me the most about Rob's presentation was the lack of high-pressure sales tactics. More to the point, Rob encouraged me to take my time figuring out what we wanted to do, and left us various samples to assist us in figuring out what color/product we wanted to have installed, if anything. We were encouraged to evaluate other company's products as well, which we did, but were hardly impressed by the competition. Home Depot, I'm looking at you. The product and pricing were far superior to anything anyone else was offering. Rob was exceedingly patient as he walked us through the process of explaining the various types of carpet Molyneaux carries, warranty information and differences, performance differences, etc. over the course of 3 separate consultations (1 in our home, 2 in the store). Throughout the process, Rob made us feel comfortable and confident in Molyneaux by maintaining a professional, no-nonsense, zero-pressure sales approach. We were just as impressed by the installers, Bob and Jay, as we were by Molyneaux's products and Rob's sales and product acumen. They were professional, cordial, and above all treated our home, furniture, and pets with an incredible amount of respect. In fact, they made a doggy-bed for our elderly mini schnauzer and carried him with them as they moved from room to room. Our dog absolutely loved it! On top of that, their skill and professionalism were absolutely unmatched. Within 2 days they removed and replaced carpeting on 4 sets of stairs, 2 hallways, 2 landings, and 3 fairly sizable rooms. They did a custom wrap on our barrel steps that every other company who evaluated them said could not be done. In the end, the new carpet has transformed our home, thanks in no small part to Rob, Molyneaux, and their installation team. I am quite impressed with Molyneaux, and I will definitely be reaching out to Rob Celedonia for our next flooring project soon. read more

I requested a free in-home estimate from Molyneaux and 2 other competitors to replace some flooring in my 3rd floor that had water damage from a recent storm. My salesperson, Steven Porter, was the only salesperson who actually checked the flooring underneath for any additional damage and was the only one to take the existing flooring to be tested for asbestos, which is common in older houses in the area. I had a lot of questions making my decision and Steven always responded to emails, texts messages, and even had to make a return visit to go over a while new color palate with me after I was able to get more research done. All of the quotes I received were comparable so I based my choice on the quality of service and depth of information that I received upfront, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The installers who came to install the flooring were very knowledgeable and professional. They discovered a major issue in the back corner that would have caused the laminate I chose to come back up, probably a few weeks after install with a 2" dip in the back corner of the 3rd floor. And they wouldn't let that happen. As a customer, it means a lot to me that the installers weren't just there to toss down some floor and leave me with a giant headache. They wanted to make sure that my floor was able to be installed properly and that a quality job was performed. So I had to pick a new floor. Steven stayed with me and since he knew how much I loved the floor that I picked and scoured their products to stop by again with the closest possible matches for what I needed based on the newly discovered constraints of my 1906 house. The floor turned out beautifully and I couldn't be happier!! Everyone I worked with at Molyneaux was professional, pleasant, and helpful every step of the way. I look forward to working with Steven and the Molyneaux team again when it's time for my next flooring project. I will also probably pick the same floor because it is absolutely beautiful! read more

We had the Kitchen Refresh completed and what a positive experience! Mark, our Design Consultant, was amazing again! We had previously worked with Mark to complete a hardwood flooring and carpeting project in our home! He is the best! The refresh project was no different! Mark came to our home several times to be sure he presented materials and collaborated with us on all parts of the refresh! He was very patient and provided outstanding input! The completion of the project was scheduled over a period of time. The way Molyneaux has structured the completion of the refresh is outstanding! Each part of the refresh is completed by experts in their field. First, measurements were taken for the quartz countertops, quartz sink, cabinet doors. Installers from Vangura, a company who specialize in the countertops provided a perfect installment of the quartz countertop and quartz sink. Luke, the Master plumber from Molyneaux came one day before to disconnect the sink. The next day, the sink, countertops were installed and then Luke came back the following day to hook everything back up. Perfect! Next, Mike came from Molyneaux and completed the subway tile backsplash. This is his expertise with the company. Outstanding work! Kevin and his crew completed the cabinets and installed the newly made Amish doors. Amazing work. Noah delivered all material ahead of time before each part of refresh was completed. Outstanding young man. Kim and Kalena scheduling was perfect! Domenic and Josh from Molyneaux did an excellent job painting to complete the project. Nick and fellow Molyneaux staff member completed the flooring with perfection. And another Nick, made sure we had the few slight adjustments. This is my second purchase from Molyneaux - I had previously purchased bound area rugs from the store on Verona Road. This time I had gotten a coupon in the mail and it was time for a new kitchen floor. Many years ago I laid a floating floor. I had never done anything like that before and didn't have the proper tools, and the floor looked like a woman in her fifties who didn't know what she was doing laid it. Tim Clark was my salesperson - very professional and helpful in helping me select the right tile. He came to the house and measured everything and suggested things that I might want (which I did but didn't know it). He also dropped the tile off early so the workers could come straight to the home. It was obvious that the two men who came were skilled and professionals. It took them about 6 hours to cut and lay a sub floor and cut and lay the tile and borders. They cleaned up everything and I couldn't be more pleased. What a difference it has made. I am so pleased with the quality of everything, and I will go back in the future to Molyneaux. I have had problems before with contractors who laid a floor in my previous home, including trying to hide a "slice" after the flooring was laid. When I find good people, I tend to stick with them rather than going with an unknown. read more

Our experience was wonderful. Candace was our at-home consultant and she was great. Very informative, responsive and accommodating. She provided many options with good information about each option. She even came out a second time to review all of our choices just to ensure that we were happy with the final selection. The installation went incredibly well. They called to schedule the installation and walked us through everything we needed to do. It was great as well that the carpet came in early and they called to move up our install date if it worked for our schedule. On the day of the install, the crew called that morning to let us know exactly when they would arrive. It was a large area and we expected it to take two days, but the crew was so great they finished it all the first day. They were professional and courteous and left everything neat and ready to go when they finished. I really can't say enough about that aspect as it was incredibly smooth and the outcome was great. Beautiful carpet! Candace even called two weeks later to check in and see if everything went well and if we were happy with the final product. Great customer service. My husband and I were in the middle of a bassment remolding project. We had our carpet picked from a local big name warehouse already. We saw in the local paper that Moĺyneaux honored previous contracts of home owners who had ordered and put down deposits for new flooring from a business in Beaver that closed. What a great thing for another company to do. I called Molyneaux and spoke to Valerie. She made the appointment and brought carpet samples similar to what we had in mind right to our house. She meausered and went over Molyneauxs processes, guaranrtees and warranties with us. We scheduled our instaltion date all on the same day. On instaltion day Molyneauxs installers came. They did a fantastic job installing. They were in and out and my family and I are enjoying our new room with the most beautiful and softest carpet around in my opinion. Tim Clark of Molyneaux Carpet Tile and Wood (Oakmont Store) helped us with new carpet for 2 bedrooms, hall and stairs. The installation has been completed and we could not be more pleased! We initially received quotes from a few "big box" stores but thought we should give Molyneaux a chance too. We set up a home consult with Tim. He was so knowledgeable about the type of carpet we needed for the areas we were seeking to re-do, made excellent suggestions and -- astoundingly - came in at a cost BELOW what the large stores quoted! The installers who did the work were on time, courteous, FAST, and extremely professional. We were especially appreciative of how they were able to move large furniture around the bedrooms to get the carpet in -- we were concerned about the size of the pieces. After receiving a postcard from the South Hills Molyneaux Store, advertising a great sale, we called to request a representative come to our home. One of the neat things about the sale was a discount for having a premeasurement done. Prior to coming to measure, the representative, Cindy Benson, took the time to gather information concerning our requirements and preferences, as well as some pictures of the area in which we were going to put the carpet. She came to take measurements and brought samples of carpet we might like. Because of her preliminary work, the selection of carpet was painless and we quickly chose a carpet with which we are extremely satisfied. Our carpet was installed without difficulty by two very friendly installers. Although we did find a couple of marks in the woodwork, the people at Molyneaux were more than glad to remedy that situation. We would definitely recommend Molyneaux to our friends and would not hesitate to use them in the future. read more

We recently purchased a new (to us) house and the carpet in the finished basement and entire second floor was trashed. My only previous experience buying carpet was with one of the big box retailers and we got what we paid for.. a cheap carpet and sub-contracted installation. After only a few years it looked pathetic. I knew of Molyneaux's reputation and didn't even look elsewhere. We booked an appointment online for our sales person, Debbie Nietsch (of the Pointe Molyneaux location) to come to the new house and show us samples. We found exactly what we wanted that day and they were able to get us scheduled in just a few short weeks. They even arranged for a Billiards company to come disassemble the pool table we "inherited" to make it easier for the installation in the basement. My experience with Molyneaux was amazing! My sales rep, Steve Porter, was great. Steve brought a variety of samples to my home and was very respectful of what I wanted to spend on this project. Steve helped me to choose the perfect carpet for my steps and game room. He was very responsive and worked with me to coordinate everything, even when our remodel went past schedule! Installation was wonderful! Installers were very polite, they even mentioned they hoped everyone was OK since I originally told Molyneaux we had a family issue and needed to reschedule, on time (even with us changing it a few times), very respectful of the house, worked quickly and efficiently, made the payment process super easy (they called Molyneaux themselves to have them rerun the remaining balance on my card already on file). She provided details of the various selections and made shopping at home easy. She came to the house several times with various samples. It helped to see the carpet samples in the house. The installers did a wonderful job. The job was big due to heavy furniture in multiple rooms, but they took care in moving everything, and put everything back as it was prior to the installation. WOW...what a great customer service experience through the sales process! Ron was the salesperson and walked us through the company history/reputation, their service philosophy and did so with a high level of professionalism not 'sales speak'. He provided us with an on the spot estimate, promised to follow up with a few select larger size samples of the carpets we liked and did so within 24 hours. He contacted us to thank us for our time and addressed several questions we had about installation. The next day we invited him over to sign a contract as we were quite satisfied with both the price and service received during the sales process. Molyneaux was recommended to me through a friend and I have to say I am extremely pleased with how they do business. I received a call immediately after booking my In-Home consultation. My design consultant, Nolan Moore, was very friendly and asked me questions regarding what type, texture and color of carpet I would be interested in. When he arrived for the appointment, he was on time and very well prepared. He only brought me samples of what I asked for. There was no sales pitch or pressure during my appointment. When we walked into Molyneaux Allison was there to greet us and take excellent care of us. We looked at many vinyl floor samples with Allison's great eye for color, then she helped us with carpeting for the steps. When she came to our home to go over the samples that we choose, her keen eye for coordinating the decor with the flooring made our choice very easy. The installation process was exceptional. The floor installers Jon and Ben were very professional. Joe who installed our carpet and Illija who installed our transitional pieces were both very professional. I recently had Molyneaux install vinyl planking in my family room and vinyl tile in my laundry room.The sales person, Cindy Benson, brought samples to my house twice to help me make a selection that would blend with the color palette I wanted to use. The installers came in the first day, removed the old flooring, cleaned up the mess (kudos!) and finished the family room. The floor drain in the laundry room was built up so that the tile could be placed smoothly. The installers helped me select room transitions so that the concrete would not have to be drilled. On Day 2, the laundry room was tiled - they moved all of the appliances as well as tiled around the furnace and water heater. The workmanship was excellent. I would definitely use Molyneaux for future projects. read more

After shopping around for carpet, I found that Molyneaux Tile and Carpet was the way to go. Amy Walsh, from the Robinson store came to my home and worked with me to find a carpet that was more affordable than the big box stores. The installers were efficient, arrived when they said they would and, the carpet looks great. The room being carpeted has lots of heavy furniture and these guys moved it like pros. In a couple of hours the job was done and the room looked great. The room has a loft area and on initial install the job couldn't be finished due to some strip that had to be done by another installer. The Shop at Home experience was quite easy and the samples Jenn had were plentiful. The in house installers, moving & replacing the furniture and guarantees were all pluses for me. The original install date was3 weeks from ordering but they got the rug in earlier and the actual install was a week and half from ordering. The installers were professional and friendly and they accommodated me by helping me install the electric floor warmer sheets, which I forgot to mention to Jenn. We had a great install and they were very careful moving the furniture in and out and asking exactly where we wanted it placed. I would highly recommend them for carpeting not just for the quality of their products but the service. read more

We recently had Molyneaux help us with re-carpeting our living room. We had shopped around, and ended up choosing Molyneaux because of the quality of the product and the service. Our salesperson, Dominique, really went out of her way to help us pick the right thing! She made multiple trips to the house and stayed out late to accommodate us.
