I've have been in twice and both times not one employee greeted me or offered to help me into a fitting room. If I was giving a review solely off of customer service I would give 1 star. However, the selection of designer and name brand clothing and more is unbeatable! Both times I have spent over $150 on items. I will be returning because the variety and prices are too good to beat. It seems I will just have to accept that I will never be helped or greeted when in the store. Another reviewer mentioned that the employees cast judging looks at customers and I have to agree. Some even almost pushed me when trying to put up merchandise. They should treat customers who don't walk in wearing Prada as well as those that do. I really really like this place. It's one of the best consignment stores. It's really well organized. They're organized into brands, seasons, and colors! Even their shirts, dresses and pants are organized accordingly! What I like most about this place is that on the price tag, you'll find several different prices. Let me explain. You'll see the original price it was sold for on a certain date, then you'll see it say, if after 9/10/13, it'll be $24.00 for example. So basically, it gets cheaper the longer it's been there. This can get tricky because there's normally only one of each thing, and if you see that you can save a couple of bucks 10-15 days later, should you go ahead and buy it now or risk the chance of someone buying it? I asked how long they put things on hold and they said for a day or a couple of hours. Darn, thought they could hold it for a week..or 2. Who am I kidding. I've seen some really nice stuff here. They only have stuff that are in good condition. There are many pretty shirts, and dresses. They were still kind of expensive for me, $50ish, but it's really one of a kind stuff. Stuff you don't see people wearing, since they're not from forever 21. Ha. Definitely worth the try! It's pretty big as well. I spent 2 hours in there and I felt like it wasn't enough. Just keep in mind that you might spend more there than at h&m or forever 21, but it's stuff that was worth so much more than you're paying now. read more

Love this place. I come every Saturday and browse for my favorite brands to restock my work wardrobe and my weekend wear. The sales are great including up to 80% off. It's always fun to just look and see what's out there. My favorite things to find our Alexander McQueen, Gucci, and Chloe. This store does not disappoint and is worth the drive from the far flung suburbs of the DFW metroplex. read more

I hate to say it but the snobby attitude of the staff was extremely offputting. I brought in many pieces of high-quality designer clothing and handbags in great condition for them to look at and they brushed me off completely. JUNE 28th, 2017. I called up here at 10AM this morning interested in possibly selling my NEW Louis Vuitton backpack which I purchased from the Louis Vuitton store in Galleria mall for $2080. I live in Lewisville so I wanted to be sure of the policies before I drove there since it is quite a drive. I spoke to an older lady on the phone before arriving and asked if they could give me a ballpark on what they would offer since they take Louis Vuitton bags. Yes, I understand you cannot give EVERYONE a quote since you are not physically looking at the item and do not know the condition of the item, but WOW DID THEY SURE SOUND INCONVENIENCED!! So then, she proceeded to tell me that I would have to bring the bag in to be able to give me an eatimate. So I get my bag and make my way there. Around 1PM, I arrive into the store. A gentleman tells me where the consignment area is. I make my way there. I walk into to this tiny unorganized room where two older ladies (one with longer hair and glasses and a another older lady with short hair) who handle the consignments. I tell them I called up here earlier and was asked to bring the Louis Vuitton bag in for them to give me a quote. THEN A LADY WITH SHORT HAIR TELLS ME THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO THAT!!!! If you could understand, I did not drive 50 minutes to be told in person they are unable to provide a quote when on the phone they told me I could. I told them that, AND THEN THEY TAKE THE BAG BACK ONCE AGAIN LIKE I WAS AN INCONVENIENCE TO THEM. I have never felt like I had to leave a bad experience at ANY PLACE but this place does not even deserve 1 star. YOUR JOB IS TO HANDLE CONSIGNMENTS. Why are you so inconvenienced and on top of that SO RUDE? Mind you, the entire time they were almost arguing with me when I would ask questions. What was the most mind-boggling experience about it is, when I was leaving the consignment area, the lady with the glasses was arranging some clothes on a clothes rack close to where I was standing, did not even try to move or step aside, she just tucked in her body a little bit and expected me to maneuver around HER and THE CLOTHES RACK with my BIG shopping bag with the Louis Vuitton bag in. Felt like a second class citizen when walking into clothes circuit. Incredibly stuffy staff, wasn't acknlodged or greeted, assuming it's because I was wearing yoga pants and a baseball cap. Despite this, asked where to go with items to consign. Was pointed in the direction so off I went. When I walked in was ignored for several minutes before being asked, did you need something??? As I stood with my dress in hand. Then was told I couldn't consign unless I had at least 5 pieces to consign and shooed away. Here's an idea... maybe put this policy on your website before so rudely turning people down, especially if they're driving a reasonable distance to your store. Had a brand new Marchesa dress, new season, never worn, tags in place but would rather donate this to goodwill before giving clothes circuit the opportunity to consign. read more

Tall older blonde lady I found to be super rude. No acknowledgement to shoppers entering their store. I asked a simple question about the sale and felt berated for even asking. I am an intelligent and have a healthcare degree and I am not stupid. I just asked for clarification on pricing. I was going to buy a purse but instead decided I was not going to spend any money with them. Go to clothes horse anonymous instead where the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I came across their website and called in regarding a question I had. The first lady I spoke with was nice but then she transferred me to the lady in consignment who was EXTREMELY RUDE! All I was able to get out of my mouth was my name and that I had a quick quuestion before coming in and before I could even finish she interrupted me saying that she was too busy to be on the phone when she has "paying customers" in the store that are more urgent. Not only was her tone VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and condescending but she didn't even let me get out a full sentence before cutting me off and hanging up. I am surprised by the reviews. Over the last few years I've taken my shoes and clothes here. I had a baby so many things unfortunately no longer fit. I brought like 25 pieces and nothing got rejected. The very first time I went to consign I didn't know the rules of hangers and everything pressed. However, they told me and I came back with everything as required. The items go from the checkin out to the sales floor, it would be a mess to have to steam things. Plus if you want your items to sell why not present them in the best light. That would be clean and ironed and looking their best. This is not a good will donation type of a place. They take gently used designer clothing that people want to buy for less. If the item is not sellable no one is going to buy it. You cannot be mad at them for that. They know what will sell. They are very good at picking items. The staff that works there is always so nice and friendly. I walked into places where I was not greeted or not felt to be welcomed and I have to say this was not one of them. They have great items at good prices and I would definitely recommend going there whether you are consigning or shopping! read more

Clothes Circuit is a player in the world of resale. They have been around for years and are still going strong. I love their shoe/boot collection and that they will only put out seasonal clothing (no winter coats out in the middle of the summer). My best buy here was a Chanel cotton blouse for less than $35.00! I am a plus size so that was killer! Plus size Chanel is the hardest thing on the planet to find and to find it for $35.00??? Quelle amazing! Somebody in an earlier post mentioned a tweed Chanel suit for $350.00??? Are you kidding me?? I would have bought that in a heartbeat and put it in a bank vault somewhere. I have randomly popped into this place for the past 3 years that I have lived in Dallas. I always find something as gifts or for clients since I work as a stylist. Usually great selection with with good pricing and everything is gently worn or basically new. I have referred many friends to this store so consign their items and to shop as well. I did have an issue when I went about two weeks ago which is why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. I found a pair of Chanel rainboots in a size 6, I decided to get them as a gift. The tags have a brief description of the item. Basically what happened was that the boots were on the second mark down, they have dates and when each markdown takes effect, which was just under $100, great deal for Chanel rainboots. I get to the register and the lady tells me they used the wrong tag on the boots because Chanel does not go on sale with them. I tell her the description and brand on the tag so clearly it is the right tag, but she said they would be full price. Full price was $200 which is not terrible, but it was more the principle of the matter. I did not buy the boots and I went back yesterday and the boots are still there with I guess what is the correct price tag for $245. This tag did not have the dated markdowns, but I still feel I should have gotten what was on the tag. I did not switch the tags since it had the description of the boot, but the lady at the register did not offer to honor the price. Overall the selection is great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great and reasonable. Only that one mishap in customer service that happened two weeks ago, and I know my mom would have loved those boots. I would still recommend this place to everyone just make sure the tags are on the correct items. read more

I love Clothes Circuit. It's not a good place to go for someone who is looking for some cheap clothes b/c it's still expensive. But it's a consignment store so for someone (like me) who would love to have a pair of Manolo's or a Fendi bag but not pay the full price, it's the best place ever! I walked around NorthPark for 2 hours looking for a pair of Guess heels. I gave up; they were $120 everywhere I went. I go to Clothes Circuit b/c my mom urged me to try it and what was sitting there right as I walk in? A pair of Guess heels... the EXACT one I was looking for & in my size... for $30. Hell... yea... From that moment on, I never shop anywhere else. I buy all my stuff from Clothes Circuit. Like I said, don't go here if you're looking for a $15 purse. It's only good if you're looking to buy some expensive brands at way cheaper prices. Half of what you pay for here will be for the name. read more

I used to consign with this shop many years ago, and returned last week with some really nice items, many that had never been worn. The minute I entered, I quickly remembered why I had stopped coming. The women taking consignments are extremely rude and snobby. They want the clothes to be perfect and barely worn. I think they forget that they are running a CONSIGNMENT store, and they make you feel that the only way they will accept anything is if it is bought brand new from Neiman Marcus yesterday. If you want to take your gently used clothing and accessories to a consignment store where you feel welcome and appreciated, I recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I have scoured consignment stores in Aspen, Palm Springs, London and Palm Beach without finding anything close to quality, price, selection and staff that you'll find at CC. If you're trying to find the same blouse in another size or expect the staff to "sell you" then you're evidently not clear on the concept. This is as good as it gets. read more

I've been going to this consignment shop for years and I really like it, from a buying perspective. I usually find great deals here, but occasionally I will walk out empty handed and come back a week or so later. However, no one has written a review on a selling perspective. I created a Yelp! account specifically for this purpose. I went into the store recently and the front of store ladies were pleasant and helpful, as usual. They directed me to the selling area in the back. After waiting 20 minutes with no recognition from the buyers, I walked back there. "Hello, are you with a customer right now?" My response was a curt yes, to which she rudely added, "Do you need something?" Okay, so apparently "Are you with a customer?" is no longer a way to ask if it's my turn in line. I had a huge bag of jeans, which I did not know had to be on hangers. Cool, I'll press them and hang them and come back. Very rudely again, I was informed that it wasn't denim buying time until August. I wasn't trying to sell Burberry parkas- I had no idea jeans went out of season. News to me! I then added that I had a bunch of purses and sunglasses that I'd like her to look act- Louis Vuitton, YSL, Cole Haan, Kate Spade, and Tory Burch, but she didn't even give me a chance to describe and show what I had. She told me she couldn't even look at my accessories unless I sold her some clothes first, which I couldn't do because they weren't hung. Because THAT'S HOW IT WORKS. I was extremely upset by this encounter, especially since I have purchased a ton of bags, clothes, and shoes here over a number of years. I took my jeans and my accessories to another store in Preston Hollow, that is phenomenal for selling and also for buying, and got a more than fair amount of money for my things. I will be back here to shop because of the great selection and helpful front of store ladies, but I will never again be insulted by bringing clothes in to sell. read more

I went here based on online recommendations and the recommendation that I received from a nicely dressed lady I met at another consignment shop. This lady was carrying a high end handbag and told me she consigns here. The store has lots of clothing to choose from and I must admit the clothing did not appeal to me. I am more of a boho chic type of dresser and the clothes are very conservative. I agree with the other poster about the clothing being geared to older people. I am older however I don't dress like most people my age. Lots of shoes to choose from and they have two sections of shoes, for different budgets. They also have two locked cases with high end designer items. That is where I spotted the Chanel sandals I purchased. They also had a Goyard St Louis GM tote which will be going home with someone I am sure. If I did not already own one I would have considered it. I would return when visiting Dallas again. read more

i went here for the first time today to check it out and review the place. i saw a lot of reviews saying there were bad vibes from the workers there and i did initially sense that but when i started looking at all the clothes that feeling went away. the employees werent hovering over my shoulder but when they noticed a stack of clothes in my hand offered to hang them on a holding rack for me! i mainly went today to check out the price range, what kind of items they have and what age range the place in general is marketed for. for price, its not like a thrift store where you can walk in and pay 20$ for a bag full of clothes. but that was expected. for designer clothes the prices are very well worth it (some more than others) for example most things i looked at ranged from about $35-150 but when the retail value for a $35 sweater is a couple hundred it can be worth it. they also have percentage markdowns for different colored tags so i got a beautiful dress marked at $65 but with half off it came to about $35 for a $375 dress. the items they have are lots of clothing, some shoes and purses, and a bit of jewelry. the purses are pretty highly priced which does make sense but for buying second hand i would have expected them to be a little less expensive. (for example most of the high end designer purses were still $600-1500 second hand) as for the age range its targeted at i would say theres a lot of stuff for people 20's-30's especially and some stuff for older ladies too. i was disappointed with the jewelry selection as it was mainly older lady styles but overall i was happy with the store and will be back soon! read more

I love to get a bargain on high-end designer clothing and accessories, and this shop does not disappoint. HOWEVER, I stopped shopping here in spite of the quality of the merchandise. Like so many other people reviewing this establishment, I noticed that the staff has a real problem treating customers with any respect at all. Every time I've shopped here I've left with the impression that they were making a special exception just letting me spend money there. On my last visit, from the time I walked through the door (without so much as a glance much less a greeting) until I was ready to pay, they stood at the register chatting to each other, and I was there long enough to spend almost $300. It will be the last time they see me. These ladies should walk through Neiman Marcus occasionally for a reminder of how professionals treat their customers. read more

Secret Hiding Spot. They only carry womens clothing...but WOW. Total Find. I have taken so many people and we are all addicted. The shoes, jackets, jeans, dresses, skirts...it is like eating chocolate and drinking wine next to a fire overlooking the mountains on a cold day. So many options, so go refueled on eats and drinks...you will not leave empty handed! I have bought so many jeans here... they are usually too long...but $300 jeans for $30 then take them to the alterations and have them hemmed...I can keep them forever. It is really crowded mid Saturday so take your time or go at an off time...parking is limited. read more

You can easily see if you are shopping new arrivals (more expensive) or items that have been around a while. The jewelery selection has really been stepped up and there were lots of trendy pieces. I stop by once or twice a month, but have yet to find anything here. They have a large selection of items. However, my happy-go-lucky-shopping mood is dampened by the energy of the store. Its very drab - cluttered, poor layout, and entirely too dark. Upon entering it feels more like a Goodwill vs. a luxury consignment store. Lots of deals though, if you can overlook the look of the store. To me part of the shopping experience is the visual "high". I don't get that feeling here. read more

The style here is more mature (and expensive) than other consignment stores in Dallas, probably because of its Highland Park location. Clothes-wise, it's good for designer coats and dresses - otherwise the savings aren't worth slipping into something used, at least not for me. There're some gems in the designer handbag section. Ditto the shoes. Typically, there're several prices listed on the tag that are date-dependent: the longer an item has been on the shelf, the cheaper it becomes. On that note, definitely look forward one season if you're trying to re-sell, and make sure everything is perfectly cleaned, ironed, and on a hanger - those ladies mean business! read more

I am not new to this store. When I first went there I was not impressed, I thought it smelled musty, and was packed...too packed to even begin looking through. My friend who told me about this place made me go again with her and she showed me the way to look at all the inventory they have. The second time was a charm. I found some beautiful things and was very pleased with my purchases, so pleased that when my daughter arrived from NY I took her there and she LOVED it. Well, I went again yesterday and again I was not impressed. They still have a ton of inventory, but it was disorganized and out of place, i.e. size smalls in the medium and large slot. Many of the items were so wrinkled and dirty that I thought they were over priced. I left and went to two other consignment stores in Dallas and now I know this store is over priced. Disappointed to say the least. It will be a long time before I go back to check them out again. read more

I was very happy with this store. I went with a friend who had been shopping here for years and I got a J.Crew cardigan, a pair of pants, and a skirt both from Talbots. Each item was less than $20. I'm plus size so it was a relief to be able to have a decent selection of clothes to pick from. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I went a couple of weeks ago because my wardrobe needed a shot in the art, however my bank account didn't need a big hole in it...it's like going to several stores in a mall all at once...Macy's, Chico's, Dillards etc...all carry the brands found here. Clothes Circuit in Preston Center is just an amazing place to shop for fashionat a fraction of department store prices! It doesn't matter what I am looking for--- basics like J. Crew or Banana Republic, hot labels like Tory Burch, Vince or Tahari or real couture treasure like Prada, Gucci, or Chanel ---- they have a great selection. I also love the designer handbags and shoes at a fraction of their retail prices! Couldn't wait to go to Clothes Circuit when I visited Dallas after moving a year ago, and what a difference a year makes. This is not just upscale resale but a beautiful specialty store. So much easier to shop the great merchandise since they have departmentalized the store. Clear signing tells you where everything is so you can find what you want.
