Well, it has come to this. I think that it is time to check YA. SMH. This is why you cannot support a business JUST because it's black owned. (http://www.fitnessoptimist.com/) I have to discuss a organization that I once endorsed but I can no longer sit back and be silent. FOTC (Fitness Optimist in Largo, MD) has touched a nerve. This organization which has resemblance of a cult or scientology has created a bad situation when I wanted to be amicable (my opinion). To call someone a cancer for complaining about the quality of trainers and unilaterally cancelling a contract and ousting a member in a very public way is uncalled for. Then to add insult to injury by saying "others can go to and we will pay for your first month"... Arthur Delaney you are a stronger man than me. After dedicating your time, loyalty, and capital to an organization that took no time to dismiss you, I feel sorry for you. I am glad that you decided to continue your fitness journey at Gold's Gym. The GOLD'S GYM family welcomes you. I will dedicate my time and efforts to make sure that you come to GOLD'S GYM and get a QUALITY WORK OUT. Our facility located at Ritchie Station welcomes you. Right now we have memberships ranging from $9.99 to $29.99 per month with $1 DOWN and an annual $39.99 annual fee (due in February). There are no hidden fees. No worries on being told to "LOSE WEIGHT FOR FREE" to get an interest meeting to be told that oh... "Just kidding" you really have to pay $400 and IF YOU LOSE weight then you can get your money back. But if you lose even 19 of the 20 pounds, then the most you get back is $95. So they put you on a crash diet for the last week of eating only tilapia for every meal and drinking only water the last day to "reach your goal". How many people have gained the weight back? Luckily, I was already on the smaller side. SMH. I asked to be released from my contract but I was summarily denied because I had only "14 days". However, I JUST found out the issue. Instead of avoiding a fall out, you rather feel my wrath. This is just a taste of what I WILL do. Please know that truth is an ABSOLUTE DEFENSE against defamation. Sasha, Javarr, and Josh... you guys rock but the other trainers need assistance! Joe = you are WRONG.

Week 6 - Final weigh in.... I DID IT! I lost the 20lbs & 3 inches off my waist in 6 weeks !!!! This journey that started out as a physical fitness challenge was so much more for me. Things I learned from this program: 1. Listen to your body not your mind. The body can do much more than the mind says until you train the mind to be in tune with the body. Your mind will quit before your body. 2. Learn how to feed your body. Don't ever get hungry. Eat every 2.5 to 3 hrs will be difficult at first but it keeps your body fueled at all times. 3. Learn to trust when it doesn't look like it's working - strengthen my ability to walk by faith and not sight. 4. Accountability makes a difference. Having support on the days when you want to quit will keep you in the game! 5. Do your best and if you know you've done all you can do, then relax and trust God to handle the rest. -we walk by faith not by sight - do your best and God will handle the rest - Must believe it before you can achieve it -Remember why you started THANKS FOTC,

I had watched this program on FB for a couple of years. This year I decided to give it a try!! The advertisement came out FREE Boot Camp for 6 week and loose 20 pounds. I thought to myself what do I have to loose, so I inquired and they told me a Saturday to come to Orientation. When I walked in the staff was very friendly and I must say that NEVER changed the entire 6 weeks. They were all the same friendly, helpful, welcoming and extremely encouraging. What irritated was when I was told it wasn't FREE as advertised, but it was $497!!!! I instantly became irritated because I hate false advertisement. I checked out from what was being sad in the room as I did some self talk to myself. Instantly I began to become uncomfortable with the thought of what else will be a lie? Then I thought I could never trust these people because they didn't start off being honest. Then I heard the young lady say how many would of came if you knew the price and how they learned that people stick to things that they invest in. I thought to myself that's true. She continued to share the rules, guideline and instructions and I thought to myself you can do this. Give this program to yourself as a Mother's Day gift and when you follow all the instructions and loose the 20 pounds they will give you all your money back and then you can treat yourself to shopping for your new size. That day I signed up along with one other woman. I was just use to walking on the treadmill or the Ellyptical an hour or walking my development and that was it! On my first day I was excited but as we did the workout I thought you are in over your head. I even spoke to the awesome instructor, Josh, after class sharing I don't think I am ready and he explained I would be fine with some more encouraging words. Needless to say as kind and encouraging as his words were I didn't believe him. It felt like I was in the room with a bunch fitness superwomen. I thought this has to be an advance class. I would love to say each day got better but it didn't!! Each day was a brand new challenge working on different areas of our bodies while pushing us to our BEST. They did modifications on exercises if it was something you couldn't do as every day they asked if anyone had any injuries. As the weeks pass I felt my endurance grow. I went from not being able to do no push up to doing 25!! Now that was a true confidence lifter. All though the scale was going down I didn't see the TRANSFORMATION ANYWHERE but my cheeks. My fat face was thinning out. I was running, doing suicides and sprinting Unbelievable!! It felt great!! Not every day though. There were times I wanted to quit, but then a voice would say they have your $497 Shopping money!!! And I would come when I didn't feel like it and push even when I felt I didn't have anything left within me. There were some days that were more challenging then others, but I kept going. The food wasn't bad at all!! That was totally ok until the last week when it's Tilapia and Asparagus only! Can I be truthful if I never eat those two again I am completely ok. As the weeks went by relationships were created and not only were you surrounded by amazing encouraging staff but we were encouraging one another. The environment was full of positivity and love!! We truly became a family! I was so impressed how they all took the time to learn our names and how they would sometimes do the routines with us or walk through the room and say come on you got it one more!!! This was not just a weight lost, but it was an emotional and spiritual journey! It was an awakening! An awareness to getting to know myself more. Learning my clicks. Discipline, focus and determination all helped me through this 6 weeks. By the 3rd or 4th week I was able to let my guards down. There were no trips or other hidden agendas. They were right if I hadn't paid I probably would have quit and not finished. Oh but when I did my final weigh in it was Welllllll worth it all and I was so emotionally overwhelm. This time I did it for Elisa! For Me! And I felt incredible! I lost 22.4 pounds!! I was truly proud and still am! Nothing great is easy and I told myself you worked too hard to become undisciplined now. This program helped me to go from 20s and some size 22s to size 16/18. It built up my confidence and belief in myself. I was so happy with all that I achieved with this program that I joined a gym and this time I even signed up for a Personal Trainer. I realized that I need accountability and the extra push to achieve my ultimate goal of being healthy. Now I am running and walking on the Treadmill, running up staircases and just enjoying myself with a whole lot more energy. I am so grateful to Cloud 10 Transformation Center's staff. Each of them are different in their teaching styles but I can't to realize they all shared one common mission and that is to help us all reach our goal! Thank you to every trainer and all the staff.

I took the 6-week, 20 pound challenge and won!! I lost 21 pounds and nearly 5" off my waist. I owe it to Fitness Optimist Transformation Center. I've gotten up to 250lbs and got down to 235 and couldn't go any further. I knew I needed some form of group training and accountability to break that hard plateau. This was it. They really want you to succeed and it's not just something where you do it on your own. They give you the FOTC Bible with instructions, meal plans, do's/don'ts, etc etc. Even if you're stuck toward the end, you have an emergency meal plan to follow to get the weight off. They thought of everything to help you reach your goal. The workouts are great and they push you. It's this combination of working out and the meal plan that will transform your mind and body. There have been people to take the challenge repeatedly and lose more than 20 lbs each time. How about that? I found out towards the end that I have a medical condition that precludes me from continuing. However, I do have the FOTC Bible to continue to follow and maintain the weight loss until things get better. Thanks FOTC and AFF!! read more

Went on friends and family day with a friend who was doing the challenge. Solid workout. No showers or bells and whistles just a good workout. Afterwards they offer a week trial before you commit to their challenge. I didnt do it as i live too far away but it could be an option for those who are interested. The trainers seemed cool and they have a display of supplements and powders. read more

This has been my 2nd completed challenge in which i have lost a total of 42 pounds. To say this this program has changed my life is an understatement. I remember weighing in for the first time and thinking to myself "what have I gotten myself into". These past 12 weeks have molded my spirit and my body and I'm sooo glad to witness the results of my hard work. This program has been very instrumental in my growth as I have been able to overcome emotional eating, sugar addiction, making excuses, and always quitting when things get hard. This program is more psychological than physical. If you aren't ready to fight for your life and for your money then this program is not for you. Save your money. If you're ready to change and commit to yourself no matter what it takes then I encourage you to take the challenge. I've made so many new friends and family through the program which made it so hard to leave but I was able to meet a huge milestone with FOTC. I'm very thankful read more

The 6 week 20lb challenge with Fitness Optimist Transformation Center is a perfect way to spark your fitness goals. If you are gym head and looking for a way to shock your system, this program is a great option. The facilities and equipment are very nice and the staff is highly motivating. Prior to the program starting, I was confident that I would lose the required 20lbs, but what I didn't count on is the overall improvement of my physical fitness. I was able to lose 21.8lbs in the 6-week challenge. I also lost 5.8 inches around my waist. I'm now beginning to take my fitness goals to the next phase. read more

Taking the FOTC challenge was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. After being sedentary for years and eating what ever i wanted left me with high cholesterol, lack of energy and a couple of dress sizes. After not being active for so long and taking jumping straight into a high intensity workout, I didn't think I would make it. But with determination and the encouragement of the FOTC staff it got easier and I was able to reach the 6 week challenge goals. Down 22.2 pounds and 2.5 inches off the waist I am forever grateful for the opportunity and would definitely recommend this challenge to my family and friends. Again thank you to Joe and your wonderful FOTC staff. read more

This was an excellent jump start for anyone looking for a lifestyle change. They have a one-size-fits-all program with support available from staff and other challenge participants. I was in total amazement that the food choices we were instructed to eat for success (because we eat to live, not live to eat!) were foods that I liked eating....that has never happened for me in my previous attempts to lose weight. Trainers make the workouts fun while maintaining structure and ensuring you are completing the exercises correctly. The meal plans are simple and don't require personal chefs to cook. Overall, it was a good experience and I lost 21.4 pounds and 5 inches off my waist while enjoying myself. I hoping they open a center in the Temple Hills/Oxon Hill/ Clinton area soon! *wink* read more

I will give this program five stars: Pros: 1. I LOVE the workouts. 2. The trainers are motivational and help you to push yourself to do the most and get the form down. 3. Joe has created a community of like minded individuals that help support you in your fitness goals. 4. This environment is only for those serious about fitness.... no coming dressed up in cute gym clothes to attract a mate, no showing off how fit you are if you know the moves you help a neighbor. 5. Most of cannot achieve this type of success on our own take this is where the Awesome Fit Family (AFF) comes in handy this is a major advantage. Cons: 1. This program takes WORK ... it is an investment into transformation. 2. The diet is difficult but in order to get results you have to be extreme for a while. 3. I would suggest that at least once a week a staff member be available for a q & a session or a set number of one-on-one appointments. I followed the instructions however I was very worried towards the end and could have used some reassurance from staff versus other challengers. 4. Would suggest support for members who are in the maintenance phase. While there is room for improvements I believe that this program is moving in the right direction and will expand greatly over time! read more

The FOTC 6 week, 20 pound challenge was just that - a challenging, but rewarding experience! The food plan combined with the exercises contributed to my success with the program. Results in weight and inches lost! Although, at first, the thought of exercising five times a week seemed unobtainable, the variety of one-hour sessions provided the flexibility needed for scheduling. The circuit training was never boring since each day provided a variety, e.g. weights, barbells, ropes, sandbags, those infamous burpees, etc. Although it was not easy, it was obtainable with hard work, focus, and following the instructions! The coaches were very helpful with ensuring the exercises were properly executed. The support from the coaches, other challengers, and admin staff was invaluable! read more

I took the 6 week 20 lb challenge and lost my 20 in six weeks! The workouts are challenging and fun. The meal plan is easy to follow. The program holds you accountable. There are trainers to make sure you are getting a challenging workout. They are their to assist you to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly. The other members and challengers help to encourage you as well. The best part about my experience is that I am now able to jog! Which was always a challenge for me. Works my out this summer and jogging before the workouts has definitely helped me! I can see the difference. I don't want to return to a traditional gym after working out at Cloud Ten. During my six week challenge, I had my ups and downs however I had Team Cloud and my teammates work through the transformation as a whole. There was never an 'I' in TEAM. We started together, we finished together. If you needed any help, had any questions, needed someone to talk to, EVERYONE was there for support. I was a person who hasn't run in over 13 years due to having back issues and then having back surgery. Now I am running at a steady pace and before I turn 50 want to run a half marathon. Cloud 10, has given me the confidence I need to walk out on faith and push myself.. Going into work I get compliments about my weight and it's noticeable. I am now a member of Cloud 10 and I couldn't be any happier. I beat the challenge and gained a family... read more

After being away from the gym consistently for years this was the perfect jumpstart to increasing my endurance, strengthening my muscles and losing inches. I participated in the 6 week challenge and I have 3 days left. Although I didn't lose 20lbs I'm not disappointed at all. I've lost weight and inches, this was the boost I needed to continue the journey. It truly is MIND OVER MATTER!! This setting helps you because you have 30+ participants all working out. All shapes and sizes with ONE GOAL!! Highly recommended, staff is supportive. Glad I signed up!! read more

My coworker got me into this. I repeated the challenge for the second time. This 6 week challenge was WAY harder than the first time. I had to fight to remain disciplined this time because I wanted the results but didn't always want to eat what was right or workout out on those cold mornings. This time I had to commit and recommit because I mentally quit at least 3 times during this round. Hands down I know that I made it with God and the support of family and friends forcing me to eat right and committing to extra workouts! Last round I lost 26.8lbs and this round 23. I see a major change in my body and I am 2 dress sizes downs. I lost a total of 49.8lbs with this program. I am excited about losing more weight about 25lbs and just being healthy overall. Cloud 10 was great and empowered me to continue to purse my fitness goals. I am not where I desire to be but far from where I use to be. There is a long road ahead however but I am not going back! I am moving forward. The best is yet to come--thank you cloud 10 for laying the foundation. If you're looking for a good program I say Cloud 10 is the place to be. read more

When I initially sat in the FOTC orientation, I was pretty skeptical regarding the program's claims. Tracie, the manager of the Largo location, was saying that participants had lost upwards of 25 lbs in a matter of 6 weeks. At the time, I weighed the heaviest I had ever weighed, clocking in at 276 lbs. Grad school and stress had taken a significant toll on me over the course of three years and I was in need of some significant change. Sure enough, two challenges later, I had managed to lose 47 lbs, bringing me down to 229 lbs. I hadn't been that light since college. Fitness Optimist's program was just what I needed to kick-start and re-energize my fitness. FOTC specializes in circuit-styled workouts, meaning workouts with high repetitions back-to-back. The classes have three different days (upper body, lower body, full body) at different times during the morning and afternoon. For newcomers, the workouts can be very challenging. I remember struggling to complete my workout during my first time in the class. As time went on, the workouts became more manageable, but they remained challenging during my peak fitness in the program (I stayed for two 6-week challenges). By the end of the second challenge, I was doing exercises that I could have never imagined myself doing. Burpees, though not my favorite exercise, became significantly easier and I could push myself through the end of a 45-minute workout; don't scoff at the length of time, the workouts are plenty challenging. I had minimal negative interactions with the staff/challenge participants. Everyone is genuinely coming to class to better themselves. I had significant support from different participants and coaches. It is a very community-oriented feel associated with this program. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you might have. My only critique is that the workouts tend to get stale occasionally, but some trainers do change it up and keep it challenging. If you're looking to lose weight in a safe environment, I would recommend FOTC to anyone that is willing to put in the work and sacrifice. What I re-learned from the program will benefit me greatly in my future fitness endeavors. I know with any of my fitness goals, as long as I stick to the plan and FTDI, I'll be good. read more

Fitness Optimist Transformation Center (FOTC)has changed my life! All my life I have struggled with my weight and always hated working out. I never really knew what to eat or how often which only added to my frustration. FOTC takes all of the guessing away! They provide a plan that tells you what to eat and when to eat it, which I loved! When I entered FOTC I was surprised not to see the machines you see at other gyms, but soon learned that I would work out harder than I ever have in my life! Burpees, jump squats, mountain climbers, planks, kettle bells....all things that I had never heard of until FOTC, but they will now be a regular part of my life. The 20lbs in 6 weeks challenge was hard! My muscles ached...I was tired...I wanted to quit...and I even cried, but at my lowest points there was always a fellow challenger or trainer there to cheer me on. Long story short I lost 24.8lbs and this is just the beginning! FOTC gave me my life back!!! read more

I first heard about cloud 10 via Facebook. It was the start of a new year and I wanted to begin the new year with a positive beginning and a start to a lifestyle change. Going into the program I was really nervous and after the receiving the handbook "bible" I was even more nervous. Because it was something that I wanted, I knew I had to do what I had to do. The second week was one of the hardest weeks but once you got over that hill and you saw the results it became more motivating . The staff was really friendly and I really enjoyed the 5 o'clock classes. I will definitely keep up with this program and will be looking into a membership after the challenge!! It was overall a great experience despite it all. read more

I started my journey six weeks ago, as a means to jumpstart a lifestyle of healthier meals and a healthier future. Going to the bootcamps five days a week was challenging in the beginning and the end, but somewhere in the middle I found that I was growing stronger and more confident in my ability to succeed in the lifestyle change. The foods were okay, I even learned that I like turkey burgers (homemade of course). If anyone is looking for a team of coaches that will push you, encourage you, educate you, and inspire you, because they too train in the bootcamp classes. Cloud 10 Transformations, Largo is the place to go. Don't be discouraged when they tell you the cost of the program. See it as an incentive to F.T.D.I. and lose weight and inches as they promise. Besides once you achieve your goal, you get your money back. Win Win situation! I challenge you to challenge yourself and change your life. I just completed the 6-week weight loss challenge and to my surprise, I lost 24 pounds! In addition to losing more weight than I anticipated, I also lost 6 inches from my waist. I began the challenge weighing under 200 pounds therefore the idea of losing more than 10% of my body weight in such a short amount of time seemed impossible. I decided to push those negative thoughts aside and fully commit to the program. There were a lot of tough times, including one week when I inexplicably gained a pound, but the team at FOTC was amazing throughout. read more

FOTC - Largo is an interesting experience with both highs and lows like anything in life. I completed 2 back to back challenges and lost 5.5" in my waist and 33 pounds in 13 weeks which included one off week. This was not my first attempt to loose weight, but I hope/pray that this will be my last! I do feel I have learned guidelines that I can take with me and incorporate into my "action plan" to stay fit and get motivated. The people who attend FOTC are amazing and encourage you/hug you and cry with you when you achieve/struggle to achieve your goals. Like anything, it is what you put into it. Having lost weight with other programs, what I like about this program is the commitment to work out. No other program I ever tried, made me make the commitment to work out 5 days a week and just accomplishing that for 13 weeks is an accomplishment for me! If you are struggling with your weight loss goals, or depressed about your body; get off of the rocking chair and do something about it and TRY FOTC. Even if you don't lose 20 pounds, you will gain something that will make you a different person than the person that first walks through the doors. If you need lots of personal attention from the Staff, this may not be the place for you but there are plenty of members and previous challengers who are willingly to help and encourage you along the way. If you choose to try some of the supplements(not mandatory), you will spend more than the $399. read more

I took part in the six week twenty pound weight loss challenge at Cloud 10 in Largo, and I must say it was a positive experience. I was able to complete the challenge and lost the desired twenty pounds. The coaches and staff are very friendly and try to help you in every way they can. The meal plan is very detailed and easy to follow, however you will have to get creative with adding flavor and variety to your meals. The workouts are challenging but doable for all ages and fitness levels, there are modifications to increase or decrease the intensity based on your fitness level. The one complaint I have about the challenge is the requirement to post on Facebook every day. I am not a social media person so that was a little annoying to me but I get it, I understand the marketing behind it so it is what it is. Overall, the program was Great and I plan to continue my fitness journey. read more

Six months ago I decided to start with some fitness goals. My co-worker told me I should join Fitness Optomist Transformation Center. I rather quickly joined after looking at their website and read that it was a free program to help melt 20lbs in six weeks. I attended orientation to learn that the program requires you to follow a strict meal plan, drink a gallon of water a day, exercise five days for one hour through out the 6 weeks, write a review on yelp/Facebook, have your challenge as a profile picture, and check-in everyday that you work out on Facebook with a short sentence, and pay $399 to join. If you lose the 20lbs you can get a refund for $399. After taking the guidelines into consideration I became a challenger and boy this has been a challenge. I've faced many obstacles, mood swings, weight loss, and dedication and determination. Working on nights was a process to face knowing when I get off at 7am I needed to be at the 9am class to make my workout, but I did it. I've learned to eat clean and meal prep on Sundays to have a successful outcome. The food took a toll on my body I'm leaner, stronger, and healthier. The workouts have changed my body physically and mentally. I now know I can push through pain and discomfort to get a better me. This program is definitely made to change your mind set about nutrition and you learn quick what you put in is what you put out. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants a jump start on a lifestyle change to loss weight in a healthy manner and is willing to work out with no excuses following the instructions. read more

Hello my name is Theodore but i am known by family as kevin. When i first excerpted this six week 20 pound challenge it was very difficult. The program is designed to break your body down and then rebuild it utilizing their method of training. I admit this was a tall order to adapt and to over come but with my determination. I had to revert to the old marine corps model no pain no gain no results. Therefore i had to reach way down and push myself with the help and encouragement from my daughter. I would highly recommend this program to both my family and friends just to challenge yourself. Its both very rewarding and beneficial to your health both mentally and physically. I actually enjoyed coming in and working out with not just friends but my newly acquired family. It became a challenging but fun atmosphere with the coaching through the staff. And there motivation in keeping you sound and focus on your reasons for being here. I love it you go optimist fitness family for LIFE thank you so much read more

FOTC is an amazing program to help improve your mindset of reaching your fitness goals. I was able to achieve my success of 21.2 lbs because of the Rock star Trainers who were committed to giving us a killer workout, defined FTDI instructions and my self determination. Outside of just losing weight I learned life long eating habits that I will use for the rest of my life! At first I was reluctant to change my Facebook profile picture and check in because I wasn't ready for my friends to know I was starting this program. I wanted to keep my journey under the radar and just post a picture with my results. Changing my profile picture and checking in was one of the best things I could have done within this challenge. It was the best form of accountability and I gained a group of supporters who would comment on my post to keep me going. I also motivated people to go to the gym and participate in the next FOTC challenge. I am so grateful I decided to INVEST in my health AS there is no cost too high to do that. I look forward to participating in more FOTC challenges to reach my ultimate weight loss goal. read more

I had lost a lot of weight before taking on the 6 week challenge but I had gotten to a point where I stopped losing weight and began to pick up weight. I was looking to challenge myself to continue my weight lost journey. My co-worker told me about Fitness Optimist Transformation Center (FOTC) and she was thinking about joining because she had gained 100lbs and wanted to lose some weight. My coworker encourage me to join the challenge, so I did. I thought this would be a great opportunity to enhance my current weight lost program and this could service as a stepping stone to overcome my weight lose plateau obstacle. I was determined to overcome this obstacle so I could continue my weight lost journey. I often did 2 to 3 workouts a day at FOTC + two other workouts somewhere else. The goal of the challenge was to loose 20lbs in 6 weeks but I had my own goal in mind. I wanted to lose at least 25lbs in 6 weeks. Of the required 20lbs, I dropped 30.2 lbs. I truly learned the meaning of hard work and determinations. This has been a great 6 week challenge. read more

So 42 days ago I accepted the FOTC 6 week 20 lb challenge; I joined along with a friend. I have been wanting to lose weight, but needed something that would kick my metabolism into gear. This program seemed like a great wat to get going. The nutrition was laid out and the workouts were mandatory. I was geared up to conquer my goal. Right away I purchased the supplements and protein powder that was program approved. They don't mention that cost in orientation, but I sucked it up and paid the additional cost (about $400 more over the 6 weeks). I also dug into the meal prep...each week becoming a little more creative with the menu. This I think was the most instrumental part of the program for me....sticking to the food 100%, setting an alarm on my phone for each meal, and drinking the gallon of water each day. The workouts were a challenge. ...and my least favorite part. They are not one size fits all. They don't really take into account health or physical restrictions and are filled with judgment. I started out at the early morning workouts and found some of the members to be obnoxious....showing off and making side comments about the challengers abilities or lack thereof. It was clickish (sp?)....some of the workouts were also a bit unsafe.....that friend I mentioned was injured in the first week and had to drop out. The evening group was a lot better. Noble is THE ALL STAR trainer....relatable and encouraging while still giving a good workout. In the end, I lost 21 lbs and over 4" on my waist. I decided not to join or continue with FOTC, but walk away with a new philosophy on nutrition and working out. My meals are already prepped for the next week. The program is great for people needing structure and motivation. Just know your personal limitations and be safe. read more

Today I accomplished a goal that I truly didn't initially believe that I could do based on the time frame. I just lost 23.6 pounds of body weight in six weeks, all thanks to Fitness Optimist Transformation Center (FOTC). My initial thoughts were skepticism and uncertainty; listening to Joe Buabeng (the best owner/coach out) tell us to FTDI (follow the damn instructions) and the pounds will fall off, I was like yeah right. But, I am here to say all of the trainers and staff at FOTC are phenomenal!! Our Fitness Director, Tracie FOTC was truly a help with logistical question, motivational messages and coaching tips during workouts. This organization truly helped save my life and transform me into a different person. Before I started the challenge I visited my doctor, who told me that "you need to get ALL of your numbers down"; cholesterol, A1C, body weight, and blood pressure. The doctor said I was a couple of 'points' away from officially being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, so I had to make a change. When I saw the advertisement for the 6-week fitness challenge, I knew I had to try something 'different', transform my thoughts and actions, so I took a chance. This was the best decision I ever made; FOTC is a top notch personal training facility with knowledgeable, friendly and hands on staff. From the crew that greets you at the front desk to the trainer/coaches, the staff at FOTC treat you as family, AFF (Awesome Fit Family)!! If you ever need to drop some body weight, gain lean muscle and change your life in the process, please give Joe Buabeng and his staff a call, they will Totally Transform your thinking and body. read more

I just recently completed the 6 week 20 pound challenge with Fitness Optimist Transformation Center. I must say it worked! I lost 22.9 pounds in the weeks of the challenge. I have started a whole new program for my body to operate on. I feel good and will continue to refine my body and my health. My experience at the FOTC (Fitness Optimist Transformation Center) was great! Hard work was on the daily menu, for sure, however that wasn't the main idea that was prevalent. Working out with the FOTC is like sharing a personal trainer with 400 of your closest friends! Every time I went to a class, it was different! One of the important lessons I learned about fitness is that you always want your body to stay in a state of awareness, so we avoid having the same workout routine - that way the body doesn't get "used to" the work out.... This ensures greater results. Well, that is exactly how the classes were designed! No two classes were the same. Each week we had different methodologies on how the routines were structured, which further added to the freshness of the program. The instructors that I had the pleasure of training with were all professional, motivational, and very helpful. Many people were assisted with personal injuries and how to make the necessary adjustments (myself included). The trainer I spent the most time with was Javarr Sandars, who I think was the best overall. The atmosphere was accompanied by music, each class, and even that changed every day! There was a music mix for everyone! I saw many people who were very supportive of one another - some new friendships and others more established. Everyone pushed each other and the spirit of each class was always positive, no matter how tired we were or how ridiculous we thought the rep station was. We all found out that we are able to do more than what we initially think! All of this was accompanied by a nutritional regimen that we received at the beginning of the challenge. The nutritional outline is designed to help your body begin to establish a faster metabolism, which will help you burn your excess weight off even faster. The nutrition program is set up to accommodate those with a standard diet, as well as those who have a vegetarian or vegan diet. Things are made simple and we are constantly reminded to Follow the Instructions! The system is definitely one that will produce success! It's billed as "free", so everyone wants to know, "is it really free?" Well, yes... or rather, that depends on you. There is an amount of money you have to put up at the beginning - and it helps serve as monetary motivation (your "skin in the game"). It's more beneficial if you look at it like an investment. The more successful you are, the more you can claim your full return. The only way any of us can ever move forward or get ahead is to invest something in ourselves. I think the deal is well worth it. I highly recommend the FOTC for anyone who is looking for a way to lose weight and get themselves into a better, healthier condition. Also, if it helps you to have people with you along this journey of health, this is the place. Last, but not least, this is a Black Owned business operating on the highest of levels. They are small now, but I see this getting much, much larger. If you want to find out more, just visit their website, its www.Melt20in6.com. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 week experience at Fitness Optimistic Transformation Center (FOTC). It truly was a challenge but the business model forced me to be committed to working out 5 days a week for 6 weeks. It became like a part time job! The staff are very courteous and professional and the trainers are equally so. I learned that exercise and eating clean must compliment each other with the right mix for optimal weight loss results. My biggest obstacle was just going to each workout/class because they were such a challenge for me. However, I got the results I wanted and I am motivated to push on to my final goal. Thank you FOTC!!! FOTC Challengers read more

I just completed the 6 weeks challenge. Wow, what can I say....This is probably one of the hardest things I have done in my life. It took hard work, discipline, dedication, commitment, and prayer. I am happy to say I reached my goal and I lost 20lbs and 4 inches off my waist! I never have been so proud of myself than I am when I saw the scale. This Cloud 10 program really does work! The caveat is you have to STICK to the PLAN! Although it is very restrictive and can get boring after a while, it is well worth it in the end. I was not sure I would make the goal weight; I was not extremely overweight, so I was not sure if I actually had 20lbs to lose. I fact, I almost decided to sign up for a 6-month membership instead of the Challenge, but I decided to go with the Challenge instead because I knew it would motivate me more. Thank God for Cathy Cloud encouraging me and believing in me all along the way. Midway through the challenge I hit a plateau and I was certain I lost all the weight I could. Cathy Cloud encouraged me and gave me some tips to help with the weight loss and it worked. I lost the last 10lbs in the last 2 weeks, 7 of which was in the last week! The coaches are great as well. They push you beyond your comfort level, without being too aggressive. I am thankful to Cloud 10 for helping transforming me and getting me to my goal weight where I now have the motivation to maintain it. If you have been trying to lose weight and get healthy and have not been able to do it on your own, this is the program for you! read more

This was my second challenge. I loved the trainers at Cloud 10 they pushed me to keep going! The workouts were always new and exciting! I definitely recommend Cloud10 & will definitely do this again! I was able to make friends with the people that I worked out with in my class. There were many people working out with me and I looked forward to going to class each and every day. The people I worked out with motivated me to keep pushing harder. Many different people inspired me to go because of their success stories. The trainers had accommodations for each any every work out that was very considerate of them especially because many of us it was our first time working out. I noticed toward the end of our challenge our workouts were less challenging for me because I was able to gain stamina and muscle! One of my trainers almost cried when she saw me running without stopping and she made me feel so good! She was so proud of me and I had to thank her for helping me get to that point where I could run without stopping! I feel the change in my body and in my attitude. My clothes fit better, I am able to finally able to be confident in wherever I go and in whatever I'm doing. Cloud 10 offered water and that was so convenient and considerate of them to provide that for us. Josh and Katrina did an amazing job with the workouts and encouraging us to push ourselves hard. read more

I successfully completed the 6-week 20 pound weight loss challenge. My friend found out about it on Facebook, and we both went to the orientation together. The owner conducted the orientation, and I was a little apprehensive at first but realized that this challenge was exactly what I needed. I signed up for the challenge and started to prepare myself mentally for this challenge. After attending the nutrition seminar, I knew it was going to be even more difficult as food is my weakness. The very first day was super intense. I don't even know how I made it through, but I did. Everything on my body hurt every day for that first week. This experience was definitely a challenge indeed. As the weeks went on, I became stronger and was able to do exercises that I thought I would never be able to do. The food component became easier as well. As long as you FTDI, you will be successful. No doubt about that! I surprised myself with my results. This challenge has changed my life. Now, I want to work out daily as opposed to being forced to work out like before. These past 6 weeks were worth everything the staff told me it would be and much more. I appreciate the honesty. Now that I am 22 pounds lighter and have lost almost 4 inches from my waist, I'm continuing on to reach my fitness goals. There's no stopping now! Thank you Joe and the staff at FOTC for all that you do to change lives one challenger at a time! read more

I completed the 6 week challenge. I did not lose the 20 pounds. Every day was exercise and a facebook post. My friends and church members were excited and cheered for me throughout the process. My family of course joined in from the sidelines. I encouraged so many people to take up their cross and start some kind of journey, that felt great. I beat myself at getting up early, eating greens, and drinking water. I was determined to just be consistent and not get injured :) With anything, I think we find things we would do differently but I have no real complaints. The only thing that threw me initially was the $399 deposit at the beginning. I was not expecting that but I wanted the challenge so I did it. Otherwise, pretty neat challenge. Met some great people in class. I am already a member at another gym, so I did not join this one but I will take some of the lifestyle practices with me. Thanks FOTC This was my 1st challenge read more

I learned about the Free 6 Week 20 Pound Challenge on Facebook and decided to attend the orientation just to find out how much "free" really costs - and of course there is a cost. However, if you follow ALL (and I mean ALL) their instructions and contractual obligations (lose at least 20lbs, workout 5 times a week, check in 30 times on FB, give reviews on completion of the challenge) then the fee will be refunded to you (or you can roll it over to another challenge). So, whether its "free" or not depends on your dedication to the process. I thought -- Fair enough, that's a great motivation! I accepted the challenge and began an incredible journey. I've been "dieting" for several months and had some success, but wanted something to really kick-start me and my metabolism. This was just the plan. As everyone at FOTC will tell you, if you FTDI (follow the damn instructions) the plan will work. The "clean" eating plan is very restrictive, but it works. The workout sessions are sweat-drenching, intense and grueling, but they work! I developed a real love/hate relationship with the plan, but at the end, I succeeded in jumpstarting my weight loss to the tune of 23.2 pounds and lots of inches!!! By the end of the 6 weeks I loved it. For personal reasons I was only able to do the Challenge one time, and I already miss the 6am workouts with Javarr (an excellent trainer/coach). I really wish I could have continued for another round at another time, but receiving a refund precludes you from ever participating in another Challenge. The next option -- a monthly or yearly membership to attend workout classes - had fees that were ridiculously astronomical. So, my recommendation is this: First be really honest with yourself! Are you going to be really serious and committed to the complete process? If your answer is Yes, then this Challenge could be for you. All-in-all, I'm very glad I participated in this Challenge. I am stronger, healthier and have a whole new outlook on food and fitness. Thanks FOTC! :-) read more

I participated in the 6 week challenge in Largo, MD. I was looking for something different and checked this plan out. After completing the challenge it made me feel like I could do anything and I could actually reach my fitness goals. I will say when I started I didn't think I would make it, I went home in pain after every workout for the first week. Over time I could do some of the exercises so much better than when I started. I couldn't really run but got faster by the end of the 6 weeks. I was looking for a healthy and safe way to lose weight and I've found it. This program had the easiest meal plan I have ever tried. I actually liked all the food on the plan. I had to travel for a week while doing the challenge and actually lost 3 pounds, that has never happened before. I will continue working out at the facility and stay on the meal plan until I reach my fitness goals. I'm thankful for the owner and his great team for this great program. read more

I started my journey with one goal in mind and that was to get my health to the point where high blood pressure pills were not an option in my life. Working out and Simple FTDI with Fitness Optimist Transformation Center (FOTC) got me to that point in just 2 weeks. That is something I was working towards since September 2015. The added bonus was at the end of my 6 week challenge not only was I healthier but I was 20.2lbs lighter then when I started and my knees can now endure longer runs. All around I'm stronger. I would recommend FOTC to everyone no matter your fitness level it is a great place to kick start your workout program or even challenge yourself to get better.. I love you guys for saving my life!!! read more

If I could, I would give 3.5 stars. I participated in the 6 week challenge in Largo, MD and it was challenging. First, prior to this, I was already working towards my weight loss goal at another facility and wanted to try something new (since March with this and my prior regular sessions I've lost over 70lbs). One of the conditions is to advertise for them, which includes Facebook check-ins. This is a clever way to expand your business, so I give the owner props for this. Now, I believe that I completed everything appropriately, but I have to wait to be cleared to get my money back. Most people want to know if the challenge is "real" and whether the incentive of losing weight for free is true (this is the only real reason why people participate in things like this). That will be known when and if I get my money back. I have friends and family who have asked about this, but their participation (like most people) its contingent upon whether they would get their money back. The workouts are very intense. You will sweat alot so it is imperative to drink about a gallon of water a day. During my second workout, I felt super odd, weak and sick and figured it was due to dehydration. You will learn alot of moves to incorporate on your own time at home or the gym. Since it is 5-6 days you may have to go there a week, your body will ache. At some point, you will be able to push past the pain, see a difference in your body and your ability to do things will change. THE PROGRAM WORKS IF YOU ARE WORKING!!! Another thing I really liked was the encouraging words that other clients provided as we completed the finisher. I also liked how informative the owner's nutritional guide was. I really liked the "fish and asprargus" diet near the end of the challenge if you appear to be falling short of making your weight. At the end of the workouts, we do finishers and run for a while. I am not a runner and in the beginning I finished last. Towards the end of the challenge, I finished somewhat in the middle. Other participants chant and clap as people make it to the end of the run and I really liked that. Did I lose the minimum weight? Yes, I actually lost 30.2lbs in 6 weeks and 9 after my first week. Is this something I would do again? I don't think so for various reasons. Some workouts were amazing and tough, but make sure you can actually walk out when you are finished. One of the things that I do not like (hate actually) is that there is one person looking over about 30 people which can be challenging in my mind. Someone with a knee/back problem or someone who overall lacks physical fitness because they are out of shape can hurt themselves. Also, working out is more so about great form instead of completed reps, but its hard to get someone to watch your form. A trainer is on the other side of the room while someone is in the process of hurting themselves. There were some exercises presented to use with modifiers. I personally I have a problem with my left knee and there are things that I cannot do properly because of it (deep lunges and box jumps). When you are working out amongst several people, you want to be able to perform and keep up with those who can. However, I urge people to know their limitations because YOU are the person who could be further injured or in the hospital. I was encouraged to do a box jump and the box was too high. i knew I could not do it, but was yelled at to do it anyway and was told I could be "caught" if I fell. I am not hurting myself doing something that I know I cannot do at the moment. I am hoping as time goes on and my weigh decreases I am able to do loads of box or tire jumps (it looks cool). Since this has ended, I've noticed that both of my knees are shredded. I am still working to meet my personal weight loss goal and I definitely feel it. On my first day, I was "yelled at" because I asked for a modifier for an exercise I could not do and was told to "just do it". How do you do something that you know you can't do? In trying to complete the workouts and finding out that some are too difficult to get good reps in, can actually deter people from wanting to complete as a result of embarrassment. With some things, I felt overwhelmed because I was unsure of whether I was doing it right or there was no modifier given and I physically could not do it. This is where the extra attention from staff "members" would be useful. There is a "science" to something like this. If I were smaller or weighed a certain amount, i would not participate in something like this with the expectation that I would get my money back. At some point, you will hit a plateau as you get smaller (word to the wise). If you choose this challenge, push yourself, be strong will and eager to make it to the finish line and eat CLEAN AS HELL. You might want to go to a gym or run outside of this to ensure you will lose the weight. If you want to complete the challenge successfully and get your money back, it's a must!!!!!!! read more

The 6-Week Challenge at Cloud 10 Transformations - Owings Mills sponsored by Cloud Ten was an overall good Weight loss challenge. I successfully completed the goal with 21.2 lbs lose and I great deal energy earned. When I first saw the Facebook Ad, I thought this was too good to be true. But on the other hand, I needed some type of motivation that was just crazy enough to snap me back into what I needed to do with my life. I have been on my healthy lifestyle journey and this challenge was just another step along the path. The Owings Mills location was a brand new and I am glad that I was part of the first group in that location. There are always pros and cons to anything. The pros for this challenge: 1) SMART Goal of 6 Weeks to lose 20lbs. This is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely. 2) The Nutrition Meal Plan and Schedule was specific and easy to follow. There was no confusion on what or what not to eat. I knew exactly what scale and measure. I also set alarms to remind myself when you eat. This is something I am still doing even yes after the challenge. 3) The Workout Plan and Schedule was challenging. It definitely pushed you past your comfort zone which is what is required to make changes. It was awesome to receive home workout routines, travel workout routines, and even interval style cardio routines. I have a full gym in your basement so now I have additional tools in my toolbox. I also plan on purchasing some more fitness tools to add to basement i.e. slam balls, medicine balls with handles, and the lebert bars. 4) The trainers were personable (shout out to Blaine and Imo) and they knew when to push harder. For me, I was the only male in my class so I embraced the heavier weights and additional reps and though it was tough, I knew this is what my body needed. 5) The staff was very friendly. Shout out to Paulette Living Strong for always being there to give encouraging words and for being my workout partner during some of the sessions. 6) The flexibility of being able to workout from home due to inclement weather and/or to make up classes due to work was really good. 7) The 5am crew was great. Thank you for pushing me as I was pushing you all. You got to love those "Indian Runs" and the all burpees. The cons for this challenge: 1) Excessive Facebook Posting. If you are not a social media person, then too bad. You have to post everyday you check in. 2) Restricted Meal Plan. Though it was very easy to follow. It did cut out vegetables that I thought could have been included like cauliflower! I am the type of person at wants to follow a plan that can work for all seasons. I definitely plan on following the plan but adding in much more vegetables and meats. 3) Specific equipment items that were told to be available but not i.e. foam rollers. We were told we would have them and that we would use them before and after the classes but the Owings Mills location did not have them. I went and purchased my own for home. 4) First Impressions. Due to my profession, I have to be the face for certain things. It would have been great to meet Joe and hear from him about his creation. Especially since Owings Mills was a new location, I think it would have added another level to the program. We also did not meet any of the trainers until the first day workout. It would have been great to hear and meet them before the challenge started to learn their background and hobbies and why they enjoy working for this gym. It is just the little things that can make a big impression especially for someone who could be just starting out. 5) Financial decisions. I live near the area but driving there everyday in addition to driving to work, home, daycare, etc really added on money spending on gas. This was not an expense that was factored in but definitely lesson learned since I do have a gym in my basement. I appreciate the things I have more. Despite what I call as cons, I enjoyed myself. I have gained friendships that will carry on after this challenge. I have the added Nutrition techniques and workout routines to my fitness toolbox. I am keeping my 5am workout schedule. I will never forget this experience. More importantly, I am still on my healthy lifestyle journey and I am sticking with it! read more

My Why Everyone says one day you wake up and you decide you've had enough. I'd seen the ads for Cloud 10 on Facebook and knew my hairdresser and good friend had done it. I was tired of being tired of being unhealthy. I wanted to set a good example for my 20 month old. I didn't want her to struggle with weight like I did. Orientation I went to the orientation session and liked what Elise was saying. She was being real. She said it wasn't going to be easy but worth it. I went under the premise of "free" but knowing nothing in life is. Of course you have to put money down. It makes sense in terms of holding yourself accountable. Also, they have to pay their people. My husband, a true New Yorker, and cynic definitely smelled scam but agreed to support me when I signed up. I had to return for nutritional counseling and weigh in on the following Saturday. Nutritional Counseling I'm not sure I think it should be called nutritional counseling. It is a review of their FTDI (follow the damn instructions) diet. I wish they had spoken to the science of it all. I like knowing that your body needs this much of this, etc. I would have liked the explanation of why they cut fruit and how they chose which vegetables were acceptable but I'm a rule follower so I planned to FTDI as best I could. It was difficult because I am allergic to every protein on the list except chicken. Trudi suggested that I could also add tofu to help out. Workouts My only available time was 5 am class. Of course the first day we had an ice storm and it was cancelled. My husband rearranged his schedule and I was able to go to 5 PM. I don't remember that instructors name or even what we did. I do remember having to ask what he meant by foam rolling. The next day I was able to go to class with Portia and it was a completely different experience. She was amazing! The classmates were so encouraging. The newbies were introduced and then we jumped right in to the hardest workout of my life. I loved being in a place where I wasn't judged and people pushed you to do more. The workouts with Portia were my favorite part and what I'll miss the most. The last week I remember in orientation they talked about the diet changing the last week to be very fish heavy. I asked would I be able to do it since I'm allergic. I was told yes and that they would work with me. The last week came and I never even saw what the fish diet was. I kept waiting for a post in the Facebook group. I finally questioned and Joe told me to check the book. It wasn't in there. He also told me to try egg whites. I'm allergic to those too. Later, Deborah told me they took It out of the book. She also told me that I should have already started it on Thursday but I never saw any info about it. She explained that I should be fine because I was only 1.6 pounds away. I continued with the diet the way I had been doing it. The weight loss I stuck FTDI the whole time because I was determined. I lost 21.4 pounds. I don't think the diet is the healthiest but the workouts are the best! I was offered the opportunity to join but financially I just can't do it. It's expensive for not being open all day, no daycare, etc. I was told that a customized meal plan is created for those that join but when I asked for more info about it due to my allergies, I was told it's created so I couldn't be told. I felt a little brushed off the last day especially after so watched an interaction with another member. Overall I don't think the diet is the healthiest BUT you will get results. It would be nice to know how to reintroduce fruits safely into your diet. The workouts, especially with Portia (although I'm biased because she is the only one I went to besides the first day) will challenge you. There were things I couldn't do in the beginning that I can now do. I'll forever be grateful for that. read more

When I decided to join the 20 lb 6-week challenge, my sister and mom thought I was crazy and many people looked at me wondering why I should join when it does not look like I need to lose 20 lbs. You can be small and unhealthy, while being big and be the most healthiest person in the world. With that being said, as a person, your health should be your #1 priority. Your health determines what you are able to physically, mentally and emotionally do and if not maintained and taken care of, can hinder you from many opportunities. I personally can attest to this by having to delay my graduation for my bachelors by 2 years due to medical issues. So thankful I joined this challenge and the Fitness Optimist Family for the past 6 weeks while gaining new friends has been surreal and I will miss them now that it is over. THANK YOU for my crazy coaches Joe, Christian and Javar for pushing me even when some days the MOOD was completely off to complete certain exercises. I personally wanted to join to get my track body from high school back which was over 10 years ago since I was a runner. Stomach is all the way on FLAT FLAT (with abs), and body is proportionally toned now. NO, this was not a crash diet just to lose this amount of weight (as a minimum) in this short amount of time. I ate more meals per day than I ever ate in my whole lifetime. People need to realize that its about 30% exercise and 70% of what you put into your body at most times for proper weight loss. I SUCCESSFULLY completed the challenge! Despite not following the rule of drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day due to some misinformation until the last 2 weeks, two cheat dates (one with my neo at the Indian restaurant, and that goat cheese mac and cheese at my PPMW committee meeting), and gaining an additional 3 lbs. when I got my hair braided...I still managed to pull it off! Lost a total of 21.8 lbs and 3" off of my waist! Now looking forward to my reward! Skills that I learned is the proper nutrition for proper weight loss. Some things are needed to be restricted if you want to achieve weight loss. I'm African, so the food adjustment was not as drastic for me since dairy is not a main consumption except for milk and yogurts, and we do consume a good amount of oil (when frying eggs, jollof rice, fried rice, and cooking in general). I'm also a grad student and I'm always on-the-go, especially with eating, so I've learned also through this challenge that I need to cook more for myself and pack more to school so I know what I'm consuming has the ingredients that I added to it. Overall, these were the two main things I've learned aside from the regimen of a daily fitness routine. I will go back to my cultural foods, I will just have to eat in moderation, since most of the meals are carbohydrates, and I will just have to consume that main cultural meal for lunch instead of dinner. Water, water, WATER. Never was a fan of water at all, I would drink nectar juice, tea, MILO, or orange juice before even looking at water. Now I have become a fan. Won't consume as much as I had to on the challenge, but water will now be apart of my daily regimen. God is good! This was definitely a nice booster for my fitness regimen for this upcoming academic year. Thank you FOTC for getting me back to where I used to be! Cheers to many more success stories amongst this group and congrats to all who have experienced weight loss of any sort during this challenge. read more

FOTC REVIEW I don't even know where to start! I think I'm still in shock at how well this program worked for me! I lost 23lbs in six weeks with Fitness Optimist Transformation Center!! I also lost 10 inches from my waistline, dropped 2 pant sizes, 3 dress sizes, and a whole cup size!! This program Works if you FTDI "follow the damn instructions"!! Just weighed out today and I still can't believe it! I was introduced to this program by my college friend who had taken the challenge this summer and lost 21lbs in six weeks....sounds unheard of right? It definitely did to me. It took me about four months to finally decide to see what the hype was really about and register online for an information session. Once there I was thoroughly impressed with the testimonials and the before and after pics all around the building that I HAD to sign up and give it a try! And what I loved most in the beginning was that there wasn't any pressure to sign up. No sales techniques needed because all the real life reviews and testimonials spoke volumes for this program. People have lost between 20-100lbs by doing back to back challenges for free! After paying for the first one of course. That's a great value if you ask me. I have tried and failed with many diet and fitness programs in the past like weight watchers, Atkins low carb, p90x, beach body etc and I was never able to lose a good amount of weight or properly maintain my weight loss. Also my body did Not look as good as it does now after all this hard work! This program is not easy but it also isn't impossibly difficult to complete. The meal plan was strict but also very flexible and satisfying. I learned how to properly nourish my body while in this program and learned from personal experience the value of including important supplements into my nutrition and fitness routines. The fitness coaches are Amazing and though they seem tough they are very caring and considerate throughout each workout, pushing you hard enough but not pass your limits. Two things made working out here easier for me: the fun/supportive group workouts and not having to think about what exercises to do on my own. Everything is laid out for you....you just have to show up! I would highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with learning to balance their nutrition and fitness routines because all the information you need is handed to you. All you have to do is FTDI "Follow the Damn Instructions" and you are pretty much guaranteed success! It's well worth the money, which is an excellent motivator outside of improved health and losing weight alone. You have the option of getting your money back or rolling it into another challenge if you meet the 20lb goal, which I can personally say is Highly Attainable if you truly put in the work! I did it and I am so happy I invested in myself and rejuvenated my mind, body, and spirit while getting my banging body back! I feel so blessed to have gone through this experience at this point in my life. I needed this boost of energy and hope! Let your faith be greater than you fear! You can do it! You owe it to yourself! Sign up here! www.melt20in6.com Look out world.....she's back! read more

6 a.m. this morning (Saturday 16 September 2017)...the final weigh-in. Said a little prayer, peeled off excess clothing, got on the scale. Final weight...158.8 pounds; Total weight loss...25.4 pounds; Ending waist...31.75; total waist reduction...6 inches. On 05 August 2017, I entered the Transformation Center weighing 184.2 pounds/37.75 inch waist--most of which was stomach and ass. Yes me...the skinny little thing that weighed 99 pounds when I graduated from high school. I was always able to eat any--and everything--I wanted; my entire life...never gained a pound. I weighed 141 pounds consistently for 25 years. All of a sudden, six/seven years ago I started to grow...and NOT in a good way. The years of cakes, pies, ribs, roasts, martinis and beer caught up with me. Geez! A brutha was devastated! But nobody seemed to understand. Always being told "it looks good on you," and "you needed to gain weight." Yeah...right. Perhaps I could agree if it were proportionate, but really....stomach? Ass? I was looking like a poster child for bloat caused by famine and/or malnutrition. Ha! Then a visit to my niece and a casual conversation ensued about how her son had completed The Challenge. "Get him on the phone," I said. "I have questions." They described, in great detail, about his FOTC experience. I was blown away. Partially, in disbelief ("What's the catch?" I thought to myself.) I signed up right away for the orientation. Notwithstanding "The Challenge" itself, there were additional challenges at hand for me...mostly my perceived inability to discipline myself for six weeks...exercising (oh hell no!)...give up my indulgences...exquisite dining and lots of booze and beer! (are they crazy!?) Well, here I am....six weeks later and 25.4 pounds lighter! The FOTC experience was (rather IS) life changing. I came away [today] enlivened, exhilarated, and galvanized; with an appreciation for mind/body management, and the determination to maintain it. This program is awesome! it is designed for success. The staff is very professional, personable, knowledgeable, inspiring, and sincere...and yes, serious as hell! No pity-party here. But it becomes individual and you want to own it. Tenacity and self-motivation are paramount. I wish to shout out to "Madam Director" and her diligent staff at FOTC Largo who kept all of us inspired and moving forward. A special THANKS to those who touched me personally. They indulged my frustrations and idiotic questions ("can I eat sushi?...hell, it IS tuna"...duh! The answer was a resounding "no.") We, the participants, came to love and appreciate the iron-fisted coaches (affectionately referred to as the "Drill Sergeants")....Sasha, "The Malevolent Force"...Steve, "The Resolute Terminator"...Christine, "The Take-No-Prisoners Optimizer," and Joshua..."The Suave Invigorator." Can't forget Cathy and all the other staff members who had nothing but smiles and words of encouragement for each of us...each and every day! read more

I was introduced to this program by my young sister after she saw the evident results with her co-worker at NIH. After a long and tedious debate with myself, I decided to give it a try. January 8, 2018; I accepted the challenge to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks at formally fitness transformation optimist now Cloud Transformation, Largo center. Six weeks later, I am down 20.4 lbs!! Before I can provide my review, let me give my sincere and heartfelt gratitude go to the entire staff at Largo fitness transformation center; the ladies at the front desk, baddest coaches and of course the best ever challenge coordinator Cathy Cloud; all who were instrumental in cheering us on and providing the tools for success in the program! All of you as individuals and a collective unit truly show an indescribably, well vested desire to help your community and it shows in your positive attitudes which I felt with each and every interaction with you! I remember at my initial weigh Cathy Cloud saying "this is the last you will see this number on the scale." I thought to myself that ummmm, "will see." I have never been one to diet, therefore sticking to the stringent diet for this program felt far-fetched, in addition to the everyday work related dynamics and commute stress, 5 days a week leaves incorporate physical activity into my weekly schedule. This added to my skepticism that I would' not never make it through the program, plus this weight has slowly and steadily crept on for the last 7 years!. Initially my biggest challenge was following the meal plan. Granted it is easy to follow, however my palate is used to really spicy hence the challenge, but by day two, I had managed to cook in batches and weighed out all food enough for a week. This made it easy for me to FTDI(Follow the Damn Instructions) plus my gallon of water per day! The first week alone I lost almost 5 pounds and thrilled beyond words! 6 weeks later, although at a slower pace, I accomplished the 20lb loss. Like Cathy said at final weighing, "you have the nerve to add the 0.4! One week post my challenge, I still find myself prepping meals including the tilapia that I detested so much! So in summary here is what I gained at this center; a program that truly works (if you are willing to work), amazing staff who truly care about their members' success, a great workout environment free from judgment and bias, variety workout hours, awesome women and men who are serious about their health and desire to make lifestyle changes. To my fellow challengers, as some of you have already mentioned here on the forum; whether you lost 20.4 lbs or lost 8 lbs, you are a conqueror. We have been witnesses to each other's hard work, the sweat, the pain, the fatigue...everyone supports each other; we showed up every day and gave it our all! I can't say enough great things about this program and its benefits. I am humbled. Thank you! read more

Before you read I'm 5"8 and 300+ pounds. I bless the day I made the decision to join the Cloud 10 transformation program. I saw the ad on fb and told my sister about it since it's not far from my home. She told me to give them a try. I sent a message and few days latter someone called me and asked if I could come for the orientation. I agreed . I have been battling with weight loss all thru my life!. So I said I'll just give it a try and if i can't handle it, I'll just forget about the program anyway it is FREE. At the orientation I was told about the $399 "commitment fee" and you lose the money if you fail to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks. That really got me bc I dont want to loose my $399, so if I'm putting my money in this program I have to make sure I lose 20lbs. I also tot I could just skip some days if I dont feel like coming for whatever reason but the rules states I must attend 5 days a week. Now I'm having a panic attack. I was given a book where there are foods i can eat, all instructions and rules to follow without cheating. Drink 1 gallon of water a day. So it's either you are IN or OUT. I text me sister and she encouraged me to go ahead and just make sure I lose 20lbs and get my money back. The first week was the hardest week of my life bc I had to exercise for 5 days and eat clean. This is something I have tried but never succeeded in my life. I cried, I was sore, I hated the program and hated myself why did I even join? I started searching about weight loss surgery. And when I weighed myself the next monday I lost 11lbs. I can't explain how that happened. I was soo happy. Something told me I just have to hang in the and keep pushing. The coaches are just the best . They kept encouraging me, they'll tell me I did great , they'll tell me "good job". And I'm like "did I really do a good job"? those words were soo sweet to me. I kept trying and I'm still trying to do the exercises correctly. At the end of 6 weeks I lost a whooping 36.6 pounds and 7.5 inches. No pills, No cheating. I tried my best to follow all the instructions on the book. The truth is, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY YOU WILL FOLLOW THEIR PLAN AND NOT LOSE WEIGHT!. By the 5th week everyone at my job was asking me what I'm doing . I'm now wearing a size 18-20 instead of 22-24. I am going in for the 2nd Challenge and will continue to challange myself until I have no more fat to loose. It sounds like a dream , who loses weight with a trainer for FREE? I have been showing off and telling the world about my journey. I feel great, I love my exercises and never miss a day, I'm happier. If you want to lose weight join the CLOUD 10 Transformation program and get the new you out. Thanks Joe read more

I joined the Lose 20lbs in 6 Weeks Challenge to, of course, get off the excess weight. Six weeks ago I walked into a very clean FOTC Largo facility expecting a "work-out" and although I have worked out on and off through-out my life, I have to admit, nothing I've done in or out of the gym has come close to the work-out that FOTC challenged me to. This program is not for the weak. It is hard work but what you put into it you WILL get out of it. Again, It's hard but it WORKS! I lost 22.4lbs on this program and gained strength, endurance and friendships. I dragged my butt out of bed every morning at 4am to make it to the 5am class with Trainer, Javarr S. who starts the class warm-up promptly at 5:55am. My first day after warm-up I was sweating buckets. Then he said, "now, let's start the work-out." What?!? I wanted to turn around and walk out. So glad I didn't. I sarcastically hated Javarr for the entire 6 weeks but now I just wasn't to say thanks for pushing us, Javarr! The meal plan leaves a lot to be desired--a lot! it is pretty restrictive and boring. You do get a balanced diet consisting of a few select vegetables, carbs and protein. No fruits for us non-vegans/vegetarians and so on. This ain't no cake walk people. NO Fats! NO Sugar! NO Questions! (Huh?) No Questions? The rule is to read the book and ask NO questions regarding the meal plan, e.g., why aren't all or most veggies incorporated into the meal plan? This bothered me a bit, as an adult I want to know how and why. I am forever learning and one way is by asking questions. With that being said, there is a FOTC private FB group page where you may post questions to FOTC members and past and currents challengers. As for the FOTC Largo Staff, I've taken a few classes with the owner, Joe B. and, well, he lacks the motivation and energy I like from a trainer. He stands around with his arms folded and his face hardened doing the count and not much else, however, this did not interfere with my progress and it shouldn't with yours either. I appreciate what he has done with his passion for health and fitness. Joe B., has created a weight loss program that ABSOLUTELY WORKS! The other Trainers, including, Jordan, the Apprentice, make their way around the gym and interact with the clients, correcting form and what have you. Tommy Lee, is like the Energizer Bunny. I have yet to see someone who can keep up with this man. He is a joy to work-out with. He will have you smiling and frowning all at once. Javarr, will motivate you to keep you going. All in all, I'd recommend this weight loss challenged to anyone who will listen because as long as you follow the directions, it works! read more

I decided to participate in the FOTC 6 Week Bootcamp after witnessing the AMAZING results from one of my coworkers, and although it was tough, it was worth it. Overall, I completed the challenge, losing 22.2lbs within 6 weeks. I lost 3.5 inches off my waist, thighs, and arms; I lost 4 inches off my chest. My legs are toned, my arms are stronger, I can actually see 4/6 abs, and I can bust out 100 squats without breaking--HUGE feat for me! I feel healthier, more confident, and I'm proud to have started a better lifestyle. The challenge began with a group nutritional orientation which presented a full break-down of their meal plan, optional supplements, and the infamous "Tilapagus Week". The coaches were extremely helpful in clarifying the information and making sure that each of the challengers were ready to begin prior to the start of the challenge. My only suggestion is that they invest in a professional proofreader as the updated version of their FOTC Handbook contains a few inconsistencies (mostly due to a change in the regulations between the previous challenges). FYI: The meal plan is STRICT--very strict--but if you FTDI (follow the damn instructions), it is well worth the sacrifice. Participants were only required to make 30 workouts within 42 days, which could be the bootcamps at the FOTC facility or at-home workouts. They offer arm, leg, and total body classes twice a week (Arm, Leg, Total, Arm, Leg, Total, Monday-Saturday); be prepared: squats and burpees WILL become your new best friends! I found that the bootcamp classes were the most effective for me (even though I later added cardio at home after two weeks). The coaches were great at pushing each participant to their personal peak without going overboard. My favorite coaches were Dionne, Sasha the Savage (lol), and Javar (Largo location). Overall, the meal plan and workouts are highly effective (if you follow the damn instructions lol). The program is truly designed for you to succeed if you put in 100% effort, remain consistent, and again, follow the damn instructions! They have a Facebook group for challengers and alumni if you need additional support. The coaches are ALWAYS available to answer questions as well as the branch directors. My only suggestion is to check your goals and make sure your motivation is true before you start because it WILL GET TOUGH. Therefore, the challenge should not be taken lightly. If you are not ready to commit your money and time for the next 6 weeks then wait until you're at a place where you can truly give it your best. If you give it your all, I am 100% confident that you will be pleased with the end results. read more

This program works, bottom line. I needed a change and I wanted these extra lbs gone. I didn't want to take any sort of diet pills or have any injections, I just wanted to rid them the natural way. I saw post on Facebook and looked deeper into the program and decided it was time. Clean eating and extreme workouts...after day 1 I was like " oh shit", this ain't no joke. I crawled home, mentally prepared myself for 6 weeks and got it done. 23 lbs lighter and proud. I feel fabulous and it has become an addiction. FOTC is a way of life for many now and I finally understand why. It's nothing like working hard and earning results. This place promotes a healthy lifestyle and for that Joe, I thank you. If you want change and you're ready to follow some strict rules and guidelines, this is the place for you. And, if you successfully lose the 20 lbs in 6 weeks along with a few other minor details, it's FREE. You can't beat that. Challenge 20 What a journey I've been on since I decided to take my life back June 6, 2016. I was tired of being tired and frustrated with the weight gain I believe I was in denial about. 56 lbs and 10 inches LOST and I feel fabulous! I have to give credit to my forever BFF Jaci Kelly. You see I watched her page as she transformed each day at FOTC. I read up on it a bit and the words FREE, CHALLENGE, 20 LBS in 6 Weeks caught my eye. Boy let me tell you; after that first day of working out with JOE BUABENG I was like what the hell did I get myself into. But you see, I'm a winner and I wasn't going out like that so I stuck it out and fell in love with feeling good, eating better and ridding those damn unwanted pounds. This place is the BOMB. His program promotes a healthy life style through hard work. The rewards are worth it! At the end of the day my only problem is sweating my hair out day in and day out. That still is taking some time to get use to but I'm working on some solutions. Ladies I'm sure you can feel me on that one. Special thanks to my no. 1 Rockstar Trainer Javarr Sanders. He is a BEAST!!! He pushed me to a level that I didn't even know existed. Thanks to all the FOTC staff, you guys Rock! And of course my fellow AFF, boy did we motivate each other day in and day out. And to my wonderful husband, James Robinson, who supported my efforts and encouraged me to FINISH strong. Love you baby! All of the kind words, encouragement, comments and likes from my FB friends, you guys helped me through this and I am forever grateful. My life will be forever changed and thanks to FOTC for getting me back on track. Never looking back!!! I have officially TRANSFORMED...FOTC transformed!!! read more

I accepted the 6 week 20 pound challenge after noticing that a number of friends and colleagues had joined. In the past, I had always avoided group/boot camp style workouts because of my struggles with heavy cardio exercise. I was also intimidated by the fact that I wasn't in the best shape and didn't want to be emarrased in front of a lot of people. Somehow, I ended up reasearching, reading and speaking with current and past participants. Additionally, the orientation and nutritional seminar were extremely helpful. I'll be the first to admit that the first week was pure hell.....having to discipline myself to eat clean, rise early (I'm a 4am'er), and finish each class was extremely challenging. Between struggles with asthma, pride and embarrassment, I didnt' know if I could do as well as I wanted. Well.....I am 24 hours from our final weigh out.....and I've lost somewhere between 21-22 lbs. A number of factors contribute to this FIRST SUCCESS. Joe and his team are well prepared and knowledgeable about all things health and fitness. The trainers that I dealt with are tough, thorough and encouraging. I was NEVER made to feel like a failure....even on days when I didn't do as well as others. They were always availble for questions and advice. Modifications for EVERY exercise were available. The convenience of having quality supplements was pretty cool too. I am knowledgeable of good supplementation. I was excited to research only to find that the supplements Joe has chosen are comparable to some of the best out there. Finally, the accountability and family type environment are the factors that kept me motivated and pulled me through. If i missed a class.....someone reached out to find out why. When I had struggles with asthma, or finishing last, someone was there to go through with me. I would not be where I am if not for the LARGO 430 CREW. I will say this. There are hundreds of programs out there.....some scams.....and others that work. The knowledge that Joe has shared may not be any different from any other quality programs. But difference for me is this.....the knowledge, caliber of staff, the true desire to see success, and the hearts of the people at our location make this the best fitness experience I have ever had. I have pushed my body further than I ever have in my adult life. I'm excited about the next phase that I'm walking into. Weigh out tomorrow is just the end of round 1. Entering the Elite program with one of the baddest trainers in the FOTC program. Can't wait to see what I'm able to accomplish. My best two pieces of advice??? Join ASAP and FTDI!! read more

The FOTC challenge was the most rewarding yet challenging thing that I did in 2017. It was rewarding in that I pushed me to rewire myself to eat healthier and workout more often. The strict food plan gave me structure and discipline as to what I could eat and what I couldn't eat. This actually made it easy for me to shop for groceries. This also forced me to meal prep thereby saving money because by prepping food I was not going outside of my meal prep to spend additional money unnecessarily. The FOTC challenge was also rewarding in that the trainers (Javarr, Sasha, Josh and Jordan) were all first class, premium, top-notch trainers. Everyday at 4:30am I was given jewels on workout techniques and relentlessly encouraged to keep MOVING! There was never a day that I felt they gave up on me or anyone. One of my biggest rewards were the bonds and the camaraderie. I was introduced to the FOTC challenge by my good girlfriend Teria Drayton-Harrison aka the best workout partner ever. With her initial support and proclamation that I would be successful, I dove right on in. I met some wonderful first time challengers who brightened my day everyday at 4:30am. Then there were the awesome members/veterans who encouraged me to keep pressing forward and to never give up. I am forever grateful. Roni Shields-Simons Sadia Hope The 6 week FOTC challenge tested me physically, mentally and emotionally. For someone who was in a horrible car accident 3 years ago where my knees were severely hurt , for me to be jumping on boxes and dropping to the floor doing numerous burpees, UNPRESIDENTED. There were mornings that I didn't want to get up physically but the competitive fighter in me would not let me fail and so mentally my mind would make my body get up which was not easy lol. When I was NOT perfect with my diet and the scale revealed it I would emotionally go into a fit. But there was always Cathy Fotc or Teria or one of the members right there encouraging me again and again to push forward and I would eventually see the fruits of my labor. There isn't that much I would say that is bad about the FOTC challenge. The food plan is a bit limited and rigid but I understand why. Having to only workout at one of the participating facilities was odd to me but again I understand why. I look forward to continuing my weight loss journey and I guarantee this is not my last challenge with FOTC! read more

I LOST 32LBS AND 5.25 INCHES! 387LBS to 355LBS THE AMAZING! From the moment of orientation my director @[1049655039:Tracie] took the time to answer ALL of my concerns, millions of questions, and cleared all inhibitions I had. I was sooooo pumped up leaving orientation that I went home and convinced my wife to join! Tracie was also our trainer and she really made the process easy! I was 387 and didn't work out at all, my knees were sore, I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without breathing hard and holding on the rail. EVERYONE ON STAFF seemed to care about ME AND MY WIFE and our HEALTH GOALS. They shared testimonials, tips, and always encouraged us! They took the time to know us by name and the whole 9! The workouts are INTENSE, but there are people of all different levels of fitness. Some are worse off than you, some are right where you are, while others look like they can teach the class. What FOTC got right was the atmosphere that EVERYONE HELPS EVERYONE! The coaches thanks, Sasha and Dionne, push the mess out of you but show you how much they care about your goals. Other challengers and members will help you finish your set. You build a family bond. I completed my 6-week challenge and didn't join for financial reasons; however, this last week I must say I MISS BEING THERE! THE NECESSARY!!!!! FTDI (FOLLOW THE D#@% INSTRUCTIONS) I HATED THUGS PART OF THE CHALLENGE, BUT IT'S NECESSARY! This is the meal plan and I LOOOOVVE to eat and easy all the wrong things that were bad for me. Peoole that's not successful doing this challenge didn't FTDI, though it's annoying, IT'S NECESSARY if you wanna change your life!!! FTDI-ING taught me how to break up with food! Food had a hold on me, I was addicted to just eating to eat. It was literally fun to me to eat! Now I eat to live rather living to eat and I can feel the difference in my body! THE AFTERMATH! It's been a week since I've done the challenge and I got on the scale today and I'm still 355lbs. I call that a victory because although I no longer FTDI I still use the principles of it to govern my eating habits. I'm also joining a gym on Monday to continue my healthy journey! ALL IN ALL, I OWE FITNESS OPTIMIST MY LIFE BECAUSE I FEEL THIS CHALLENGE HAS ADDED YEARS TO MY LIFE EXPECTANCY! HMU FOR QUESTIONS COMMENTS OR CONCERNS! read more

I completed my third challenge for Fitness Optimist Transformation Center (FOTC) in Largo, MD on 12/10/16. After completing two amazingly successful challenges beforehand, this one caught up with me. However, I have no complaints, how could I after leaving 45 pounds in the gym? FOTC is a wildly successful program that encourages you to change your thinking about the fuel you put into your body, what that fuel does to your body, and getting regular exercise to maximize your health. I feel better than I have since I was in my early to mid 30s and can again participate in physical activities that I thought were forever behind me. I'm stunned and pleased by the change in my appearance but am even more excited and impressed by the medical changes. All of the numbers in my lab tests have improved dramatically and my doctor has become my biggest cheerleader. She is even asking about the program for herself and, although she didn't say explicitly, hinted at recommending it to her other patients. I also must mention the unbelievably supportive people who I have met during these challenges. The coaches, staff, and the participants have encouraged me more than I can ever express. I have never been in a gym where people see you struggling and cheer you on. Complete their push ups, sit ups, or whatever and then do more with you to encourage you to finish strong. I mean, who does that? Thanks ladies and gents, you know who you are, and I am forever grateful. The challenges were a great way to kick start my weight loss journey and allow me to see that it really can be done after years of trying, and failing, and telling myself it's too hard. In closing out this very long post, I have to say that I can wholeheartedly endorse FOTC and guarantee that if you follow the instructions, push your limits in every exercise session, and get the proper rest and hydration you will see the results you have been seeking. I will no longer be participating in the 20 pound challenges. I have become a member of the "FOTC Tribe" so will continue to workout 5-6 days a week and stick closely to the eating plan to arrive at my final goal at a slower pace. It ain't over! read more

Having been away from the gym for 30 years, I was a bit apprehensive about joining a gym. Nonetheless, I took the 6 week 20 pounds weight loss challenge at Cloud10 and I can say that it was the best decision I ever made regarding my weight loss journey, since January 2017. Having completed the program successfully, and loosing 24.4 lbs and 7.5 inches around my waist, I can now provide an honest review of the facility and program. The last six weeks was certainly not easy for me personally, but the program made the initial goal of loosing 20 lbs attainable. The meal plan was clear and easy to follow, but challenging and required great discipline in your ability to stick with it. Those that succeeded followed the plan strictly and those that failed to meet this goal simply faltered, because the strayed. We were instructed to adhere to the plan and success followed - FTDI ( Follow The D*mn Instructions). The Workouts were challenging but doable for anyone regardless of your current fitness level. As time progressed, I found that I could actually pump out 25 pushups, as I was getting stronger each week. I learned of various types of exercises that I never knew about. I needed the structure, accountability and flexibility of the schedules affording me the choice to workout in the morning or evening. I know that I could have lost upwards of 35 lbs, had I absolutely without any deviations, followed the meal plan and worked harder in the gym. However, I am happy with exceeding the basic goal and I am ready to begin the next challenge and plan to keep this momentum going. I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking a better self and determined to drop some pounds safely. You never know what you can do until the opportunity presents itself. The next 6 week program starts January 12 2019 - See you there! I urge you to take the challenge and with the flexibility of the program and highly motivated staff, success awaits you on the other end. Second time taking the 20 lb. challenge and yes won both of them. The original goal was 156 in 2017. First challenge resulted in a 22 lbs. lost. Ok, so as you can see the pounds returned along with a few sister pounds. That was a direct result of me not applying the skills I learned and being disciplined. At 216 lbs. I realized I needed help and committed to another challenge. A discussion with God about my next steps if I won the 2nd challenge was very exhausting. Before weighing in I promised if the scale was in my favor that I would do another challenge. However, once I stepped off the scale I was like "nope, I can do it on my own and save my money". But quickly my accountability partner assured me that wasn't a wise decision. I weighed my pros and cons... majority cons (the gym is set up before workouts, the coaches are motivating and knowledgeable of varying types of workouts that attack the unwanted weight for different parts of the body, developing friendships and best of all it is so much fun. One con.... I want to eat the unhealthy foods and I didn't want to pay the fee (so that was two). SO today, I continue my life change. It wasn't an option to leave and not sign up. I made a conscious decision to commit to another challenge. Yes, I will continue to work out five to seven days a week, meal prepping daily and praying for the mind set to keep my commitment and give 100% during my workout sessions @5:30am. This challenge I didn't get my proper sleep, but that is a priority in this next challenge. Most importantly, thanks to Javarr, Sasha, Jashua, Jordan and Catrice, as my Rock Star Trainers. Ms. Cathy and the morning check-ins crew were phenomenal with excellent customer service and beautiful full of life smiles as you eater the building exhausted for your morning workout session. It was a fabulous experience being a part of the FOTC family. My life will no longer be the same for my habits and eating cravings are forever changed. I recommend this to anyone serious about establishing a healthier life style. I'll see you in the next challenge. Share review read more

I completed my first six week, 20lb challenge with FOTC in Largo. Previously, I attended a Midnight Madness workout at the Laurel location, and I was very impressed with the location, and the workout. My friend, who invited me to Midnight Madness, was already completing a challenge, and she was really into it, and encouraged me to give it a try, especially since I'm a Zumba instructor, and like working out. Since a location was coming closer to me, I decided to attend the orientation, and then the food seminar, to learn more about the program and trainers. When we started going through the FOTC "bible, " I knew this was truly going to be a tough challenge. I would have to drastically change what I was eating and drinking, the way I was eating and drinking, and had to still workout five times a week, but it did not deter me. I was up for the challenge, not only because I could get my money back after I lost the 20lbs, but I would be healthier, stronger, and sexier. During the first week, I found myself to be extremely sore, using muscles that I didn't typically use for Zumba, and my body was still adjusting to the meal plan, but I stayed strong and FTDI. After the first week, I had lost six pounds, and was feeling really excited. I continued to push myself, and started working out in the evenings as well. I was getting stronger every week, and my energy and stamina also started to increase. After four weeks of the challenge I had lost almost thirteen pounds, and I knew I could beat the challenge with just seven more pounds to conquer. Then I started to think, why just reach for the 20lbs? So, I pushed myself even more! After the week five weigh-in, I only need two pounds to beat the challenge, and I exceeded that! I lost almost 21lbs in six weeks, and it feels great! The workouts were amazing, and so were the rockstar trainers at the 5am Largo location. Even though I do not have another 20lbs to loose, working out and eating right are now a big part of my lifestyle, and that's all thanks to Joe Buabeng's challenge, and the trainers at FOTC. Thank you! read more

Fitness Optimist Transformation Center or as it is known now as Cloud 10 Transformations was the best thing I ever did for myself. This journey has been amazing. I started 6 weeks ago intimidated and fearful. Intimidated by the workouts and afraid that I or my knee would not last. I learned a lot about myself. I am more resilient than even I knew. The trainers and coaches were the BEST! They took the time to help me with each exercise, finding the modification when necessary for my knee. Those modifications were not easy either. I walked out at the end of the hour sweating and tired. They pushed us to our limits and while I might have been cursing under my breath I was proud at the end of the hour when I completed each workout. Each day was different, each exercise was challenging and each pound loss was rewarding. My goals changed by mid-way of this journey. First it was get the weight down to a manageable amount and get my money back. But, mid-way it was learn how to be fit and healthy regardless of the amount of weight lost. I had a lot of non scale victories like not being afraid when the metro escalator was broken because I knew I could walk up or down without feeling like I was having a heart attack. Other non scale victories was seeing the belly fat diminish and getting into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in years. You know the ones that you keep WAY in the back of your closet "in hopes" that one day you'll get back into then. While knowing all along you've done nothing to achieve that goal. Well I finally did something, something big. I thank God that I saw that advertisement on my Facebook page for Cloud 10 Transformations and I thank God that my best friend encouraged me to try. I love my new me which is really the old me of 20 pounds ago. I can honestly say when I walk past a mirror I smile instead of cringe! Thank you Cathy, Sasha, Josh, Tiffany, Katrina and Catrice! You rock! If you are on the fence about doing something like this trust yourself you can do it. I did. My confidence has gone thru the roof! read more

I started the 6 Week Challenge on April 18th of 2016. I was able to loose 23 lbs and several inches off of my waist, hips, thighs, and arms. The trainers are all very knowledgable and will ensure that you are doing the exercises correctly. The daily exercise routines change so that your body and your mind doesn't get use to it like a video/DVD program. Also, there is an on-line support group for members that is very useful. The owner, Joe, also has a motivational page that he uses to post exercise tips and motivational messages. The organization as a whole does a very good job at communicating information to its members. For the most part, I am an introvert who is very content being on the outside of the goings on of those things around me but the program is setup so that members work together, encourage one another and hold each other accountable. Joe and the rest of his team has done a very good job building a positive, safe, supportive culture that pushes you to become better versus punishing you for not being in shape. There are people here who are very much in shape and there are those who are getting in shape. At the end of the day, we are all bug eyed, sweating and grateful that we made it to and through another workout. No matter what you goals, Fitness Optimist Transformation Center will get you where you want to go as long as you put in the work and Follow The Darn Instructions #FTDI. There are currently three centers-Largo, Hanover and Laurel, and there are plans to open up a fourth. Additionally, there are classes at 5, 6, and 9 a.m. as well 5, 6, & 7 p.m. and you can attend as many classes as you would like. My only warning to you would be if you are not serious about being in the best health ever don't sign-up. However, if you are willing to transform your mind so that you are making the time to workout 5 days a week, packing your workout clothes the daily, cooking and packing your meals for the week and making better choices daily to support your new health goals, then this may be the place for you. read more
