Most of the experiences are pretty similar. I came here 2 years ago and the experience wasn't great so I stopped. I thought I could give this place a try again and it's one of the biggest regrets of my life. I was slapped with nearly $800 bill for just 2 visits that was Google-able. The information I got was universal. I had thought maybe it would be customized to my body's need because they took those fancy body measurement (muscle, water, fat...) but the information I got wasn't something I didn't know. The dietitian and the nurse/doctor were friendly, and I couldn't say the same for the front desk. I felt like one of the front desk worker didn't want me there. I also felt the processing of billing was taken slowly. My appointments between them 2 was like 3 weeks later or month even and I was never notified of $400+ bill UNTIL my 2nd visit was over. This lacks of transparency. I didn't have this issue 2 years ago so imagine to my surprise to a nearly $800 bill that was PREVENTABLE! Lack of communication and lack of transparency. When I learned my bill was $468 I immediately emailed them to cancel it and they did not respond until I got a reminder "your appointment is coming up in 5 days". I already emailed them a week or two ago so I sent them another email and they finally responded saying my appointment was cancelled and then said here's your bill of nearly $800. Such a disappointment and I felt I was taken advantage of. I will be calling my insurance and hope for good news and I appreciate them allowing me to make payment plan. Will I ever return? Never again. Even if my insurance covers it because I was hoping for a customization and the information I received is also Google-able or ChatGPT-able as well. They took my insurance information at the 1st visit so that they could determine my coverages for continued care. 1) Even though I had a Groupon, I received notification that they billed my insurance for the visit. 2) I spoke to 2 different billing people and dropped off a referral from my Primary Care Physician. Both times, once via phone message and, upon in person follow-up, I was told they would contact me once they had the information from my insurance company. It's been about a month and I still haven't heard from them, unntil today when I received a letter letting me know how important it is for me to continue my care and insinuating that I made the decision to stop treatment. BOTH blood and urine test came back NEGATIVE for hCG. He stated that it should show by now even if the dose was low and that something was not right. Once I called Marlene she denied everything and said that has never happened before and I asked for a refund she agreed to give me a refund. I went to the office and she stated the doctor was waiting for me and he just left. Which was weird because the website states she is the owner and does not talk about a single doctor on the website. Also, I've never talked or seen a doctor while visiting. When she was giving me the refund she said she refused to refund the office visit of $75. When I tried to explain I deserve a refund for the office visit because I paid for an office visit for hCG which I did not receive she had an attitude and would not give me the full refund. She also was super rude slamming the refund and the receipt on the table walking away from the front desk and going into another room. Please test your hCG levels while taking her hCG. She said her hCG is real and she tested it but my blood and urine test done by a lab is not going to lie. This was not my first time on hCG, I had hCG with another doctor and I lost weight. This one I barely lost weight and felt very different. I don't know what I put in my body but be careful.
