Cloud 9 feels like an elevated take on the traditional Asian reflexology spa -- polished, thoughtfully branded, and well run. From the logo and adorable penguin mascot to the environment itself, everything feels cohesive, relaxing and replicable in a way that made me think there should be Cloud 9s everywhere. I had a little confusion at the beginning. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue full-body massage over the phone and was told to arrive wearing loose clothing, so I wasn't quite sure what type of massage to expect. When I arrived, I was shown to a private room but wasn't given any instructions about what to remove, what to wear, or whether to start face up or face down. I ultimately followed the instructions on the website, but a quick instruction would have made the experience feel much more seamless from the start. That said, the moment Coco arrived, any uncertainty disappeared. She was AMAZING. She checked in several times about pressure, and although I'd indicated an 8-9/deep pressure on my intake form, her asking gave me the opportunity to request even deeper work around my shoulder blades -- and that was a game changer. She absolutely melted away knots I've been struggling with and gave me exactly the kind of deep, therapeutic work I was hoping for. I also added the infrared light, which kept the room wonderfully warm and made the whole experience even more relaxing. Coco was working incredibly hard on my shoulders, and I'm sure the added heat made her job harder, but she never rushed or backed off. I left feeling dramatically better than when I walked in. Check out was friendly and smooth. They do request gratuities be provided in cash, but that expectation was set in advance so I was ready for that one! I was invited to check out this new spa, and I went a couple of weeks ago. It's an upscale Chinese spa with an American touch. The place looks nice and tidy, and I loved the colors. The pricing was decent, and Dora gave me an amazing massage. I got the 30/30. You lay down and put your feet in a bucket of warm water. Dora noticed I was uncomfortable and brought a pillow to put under my back. I was very relaxed, and the furniture was nice and comfortable. Dora massaged my back very well. Walked in and was greeted with genuine concern about my day, my weekend, etc. The wait was ...none. There were special drinks in the waiting room. I was called back immediately. Smelled good ,clean, happy people and my guy was great with his hands. I'm big on foot massages and that was perfect. I had such a lovely time at cloud 9 foot spa! I came with my two friends for a massage on a Sunday morning and they were very on top of things. Right when we arrived at 10a they checked us in and our massage therapists were ready and got us moved to the massage rooms and situated. We had the 30 minute Swedish full body ($50pp), and I appreciate that they ask about spots to focus on and spots to avoid before you start (they have you draw on a diagram). The massage was definitely deeper tissue, I felt very good afterward. And the facilities are very nice and clean. They gave us a tour afterward and the interior is actually quite big; they have a huge space for parties/big groups that you can book in advance and it's GORG, excellent vibes back there~ Overall I had an excellent experience at cloud 9! They have so many options including less pricey massages eg for feet. I think a gift card or surprise visit would make an excellent gift for anyone who likes to relax/get a massage. And they have several locations including even on the west coast like in Washington and California. I'll absolutely come back some time for another massage! read more

Tried this place out with my husband for a gift card offer I received. We have had many massages in the past and I have to say this was definitely different... We were 1st met by Melinda at the front desk who was very kind and helpful. The check in process was very straight forward and we didn't have to wait long. The chairs were very nice and comfortable. We were then taken to the back in the foot massage room which was a fairly large open room that was ultra quiet. We did the 40/40 option where the first 40min. is the foot massage and the last 40min. is the body massage. The massage therapists are Chinese and we found out pretty quickly that they didn't speak or understand hardly any English. The older gentleman who massaged me had the strength of a gorilla! I had never been massaged so hard in my entire life! I mentioned more than several times that it was too hard or it hurt so he would calm down a bit. My husband also mentioned the massage techniques were something he had never experienced before and sometimes hurt. I would definitely not recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing experience. But if you like it rough, then this could be the place for you. read more

I couldn't have been happier that I did. This location is in a great area and the environment the business has is welcoming and calming. I entered with a discount but of course had to add on more services because well I deserved it. I went for the following services: 40/40 Foot + Deep Tissue $95.00 --40 Min of foot massage on the chair, plus 40 min of body massage in the private room. --Added on Hot stone therapy $15 and aroma therapy for $10 In the beginning you are asked to circle your areas of focus and the pressure you'd like to be handed to your therapist. For my massage I asked for medium pressure and my massage therapist was Tony. I was so happy with the care the professionalism he presented during our session. I went to this Cloud 9 location in a recent trip to Dallas. I've always had excellent experiences at Cloud 9 spas and this was no exception. We called around 11:30 am to see if they could accommodate 3 1pm appointments and they were able to do so. The attendant, Emily, was very friendly and made the appointment process smooth. When we arrived at 1pm our massage therapists were ready and got the sessions going quickly. I booked a 60 min Swedish massage, my therapist was Jenny and she did a wonderful job. When I arrived to the spa I was greeted by a young lady at the front desk, she checked me in and had me identify what areas needed extra attention as well as select my preferred pressure points. I've been to Cloud 9 three times now and it's quickly becoming my go-to spa in the area. I've tried both deep tissue and Swedish massages here, and each experience has been great in its own way. Tony did my deep tissue massage and let me tell you--he brings the pressure. Proceed with caution if you're sensitive, but if you've got stubborn knots like I did, he'll work them out. Just make sure you use the guide they give you for where to work hard and where not to, since there's a slight language barrier, and it makes the whole session smoother. For my Swedish massages, Andy has been fantastic. He's kind, thorough, and really pays attention to the spots that need extra love. I walked out feeling relaxed, loose, and ready for a nap every time. The front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the spa itself is spotless. I also love the little touches like complimentary tea and water afterward. The only small downside is you can sometimes hear activity in the hallway if the music isn't quite turned up enough--but honestly, that's a minor thing compared to how good the massages are. We visited Cloud 9 Castle Hills today for the first time. The spa is modern, fresh and clean. The front desk attendant (Angela) greeted us with a smile and immediately checked us in. I appreciated the facility tour she gave prior to services. We got the 40-minute deep tissue massage, 40-min foot massage, and 30-min deep tissue massage. Our therapists, Eva and Kelly were friendly, and great! The atmosphere in the foot massage room was very zen and awesome with dim lights and relaxing music. The pillows used in the foot massage room are absolutely amazing! I would love the same pillows at home. The massage suites (they offer 1 and 2 person rooms) were very clean and cozy. I was intrigued to go to a foot spa because I didn't know what to expect. I had heard through friends that this was a good place to visit so I made an appointment for a 40 minute foot massage and a 40 deep tissue massage. When I arrived, the atmosphere was very calming and front desk attendant very attentive. I went back to the foot massage room and it was so peaceful. The was a large room with serval lounge chairs/beds. Even though someone was in there getting a massage it was super quiet. I added aromatherapy to my massage so once Dora got me situated on the lounger, she gave me a scalp massage and added the essential oil. It was amazing and a great start to the experience. The foot massage was thorough and so relaxing. There were places on my feet that I didn't know needed to be worked out with massage. I left that room feeling rested and ready for my deep tissue massage. They provided slippers to wear to the private massage room which was a nice touch. The deep tissue massage took are of all my tight areas. Dora is a master at working out the my overly stiff muscles. I sit at a desk all day on a computer and needed my glutes and shoulders worked on. She also helped my lower back. She was methodical and very thorough. She made sure the pressure was right and found areas I didn't even know needed to be worked on. I highly recommend the experience at Cloud 9 as well as Dora for deep tissue massage. I made an appointment for a 1 hour Swedish message and setting the appointment was seamless and I was able to book the same week. Upon arriving, I was greeted, checked in then I was able to select the intensity of my message and what areas I'd like my masseuse to focus on. I appreciate that they started right away and I really enjoyed my message, it was relaxing though I'd probably decrease the intensity next time, and I would have like the masseuse to have spent a little more time on the areas I requested special attention on but I left feeling good. My masseuse was friendly and to the point, I'll definitely return and try the half foot and body message next time. This new place is very spacious, clean and well laid out. I Had a very good massage overall. Dora is very well trained, knowledgeable & skillful in working sore & pain areas to provide relief . Today was my 2nd visit after the first one on Jan 7th. What I Liked the most in the first session was how well she did my upper back. She definitely went above and beyond when I requested more firm pressure, had to ask her to scale down a little till it was perfect. For the first session the front desk lady/ Owner, Julia, gave me a board with body illustrations to circle the areas I would like the therapist to focus on. I circled in detail as requested for my tennis elbow, golf elbow, ankles and area of the foot where I had tendon repair surgery along with my upper back and shoulders. In the first session the massage did not address all the pain areas but today Julie conveyed my feedback and Dora ensured she worked on all the pain areas as specified with near perfection. In the first session, the 1 hr body massage portion was all done on my posterior with me laying face down the whole time Which i don't like as it gets hard for me to breath after 30 minutes. But today it was more balanced with maybe 15-20 minutes done while I lay on my back. Was glad i got the promotional flyer in the mail that got me to try this spa out.
