If you want to relax and enjoy your hookah...probably not the best place to go. However, if you want to be a part of a party while taking hookah breaks, this is your spot! I've only been here on a Friday and Saturday night...so maybe I will have to update my review after returning to Cloud 9 on a weekday. Even though Cloud 9 was pretty busy both evenings, once we made it inside we never experienced issues with the staff and getting our hookah. The staff was always nice and they always got our hookah out to us in a timely manner. Furthermore, I could always spot someone available to assist me if I needed help - like a coal change. My reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the nights we had to wait outside for (what I felt was) an unreasonable amount of time... we saw folks in large groups going in and out all the while we stood outside...two of us...waiting. It was kind of a chilly night, so that wasn't appreciated. Also, the rowdy folks... I know it's a hookah joint and we were probably the oldest people in there.. but come on, there's a perfectly good dance floor but you choose to jump on the couch? Again, I'm aware that by mixing 18 year olds, dance music and club lights you are brewing up something rowdy... but it'd be nice to see some class. My favorite lounge in Vegas! The owner T is a great man and very loyal to his regular customers. I prefer coming here on weekdays because you get faster service (it gets really busy on weekends) and the lines aren't very long. Weekends are more busier and there's a lot of 18 years olds acting like it's a night club. Even with that the hookah is worth coming for. The hookah is really good, if you ask for a KM you'll get one. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. My favorite is Strawberry Diaquri (Starbuzz), white gummy bear, and Tangerine Dream (Starbuzz)! You can buy shisha and my favorite brand of coals (Native charcoal) from here as well. read more

I recommend they either fire or retrain the rest of the workers. This hookah lounge also doesn't accept the second amendment and nor do they allow outside beverages. Worst service I've received in awhile. As soon as we walked in they were rude didn't greet and barley helped us decide on what flavor to get. We got bootymint which was a good choice but as we were there for awhile hanging out our coal became harsh and the employees did not check on us nor turn or coals. After that we then got up to use the restroom was in there for about 4 min, we came back out and our table was already taken! Cloud has moved again! For me, Cloud has always been a staple in the Vegas hookah scene. I recall the first Cloud 9 back in the day. It was small and cramped but T was always there to make you a great hookah. And while the latter hasn't changed, the new location is bigger and better than ever. This third incarnation of Cloud has about twice the seating space with a dedicated dance floor, improved sound system and two bathrooms (thank god!). Hookahs run $18, bottles of water and snacks are also available. No kitchen or bar but its ok as most people are drinking in the parking lot anyways. Theres a pretty decent selection of flavors and Moe is always coming around with fresh coconut coals. On weekend nights the lounge transforms into what I call 'Loud Cloud'. Like a club but for 18+, Loud Cloud features a DJ blasting EDM remixes and plenty of people dancing where ever they can. Its so loud you won't be able to speak to the person next to you but the laser lights will keep ya entertained. On busier nights lines can form but theres never been a cover. My friends and I wanted to go to a hookah lounge since we had never been so we decided to give this place a shot. Walking in my first observation was that it was unpretentious with stripped walls and red leather sofas. My friend who is a little hard to please was not impressed. We sat down and the server was kind and knowledgeable enough to suggest a nice fruity shisha to us. They played hip hop which reminded me of my freshman days in the dorms (not a bad thing), they only offer soft drinks and water ( -_- ). Once we were done smoking we went to the register to pay (were they supposed to bring us the check??) and after chatting with the server he told us Cloud 9 was catered more to the 18+ crowd since there are not many places for the youngins. I'm from out of the country. Showed up here at around 130am. The late time was no problem at all. Met the owner, T. He turned out to be a great guy. There were about 20 people inside and it was a bit of a darker lit atmosphere with different coloured lights going off. The hookah was fantastic. Back home I literally smoke every day and I have many friends who own hookah spots so I know what a good head is made of. If you wanna try something different or you're Indian, ask for the Paan flavour; it's unreal. I smoked 2 heads while I was there, double apple mint and paan mint. The staff were very attentive and I didn't have to get up or ask for anyone's attention. I ended up staying way later than close. The owner is very laid back and great to talk to. They don't have food right now but it turns out they're adding a bunch of food etc to their menu soon so I would recommend checking this place out. Great people. Great hookah. Great hours. So I have no problem with people doing there job. But when ur lied to and people play games it's not cool. For instance when me and my two buddies showed up they let us in without checking ID. Then I had three more people and ones ID was a temp, so they said because it didn't have a picture he couldn't come in. No problem understand that now I sat outside for a good hour and watched security only card a few men and non of the ladies. So now tel me if your a girl your ID doesn't matter that's weird. But no customer service people could not handle a simple problem. I discovered Cloud 9 with a couple friends about a couple months after they moved into their new location and I've been coming here ever since. The staff is friendly and tight with most of their customers, including my friends and I. T and his brother have accommodated our needs and concerns everytime we've been here. The hookah is awesome. I've discovered that we like the mintier flavors in comparison to fruity because they don't get harsh as quickly. But the fruity flavors are still great. The hookah will last a couple hours, enough to get a dance break in! The atmosphere is awesome. The lights, the people. Been to a few lounges where I've seen fights and drug busts, but not here. The DJs are awesome and very diverse. I've heard EDM, trap, rap, 90's, reggae, even pop remixes. The weekends are fun with dancing and just getting hype. The weekdays are amazingly chill. My first night coming to Cloud 9 this past Friday was easily one of the best night I've had in a while. The people who come are so loose and fun to hang with. I didn't even really come for the hookah, I came and I enjoyed myself with just the people around and the music they played (which was very versatile by the way.) One thing though - I remember being given the death stare by an older couple because I was dancing with everyone around me... if you're older and you're coming to Cloud 9 expecting everyone to be quiet and reserved - don't be alarmed when you get just the opposite. They are fully staffed with people who are all about service and making sure you have a good time also, that your hookah stays fresh. I have been coming to Cloud 9 for the past year or two and is by far one of my favorite places to go and the only one when I come to Vegas. The owner, T, is super personable and very informative. I purchased a Babylonian stem when he first got them in and it works great. All of the employees are friendly and make excellent selections when you ask them to make a bowl for you. They are always sure to check up on you and see if you need anything, even on the busy nights. Friday and Saturday nights are always popping and it's fun to watch the kids have a good time. The rest of the week is pretty mellow, but is very enjoyable, especially after just getting into town and looking for a place to relax. The owner and servers are cool as fuck and will always take care of you. The weekends get crowded with the under age junior prom kiddos. Before half of the group had walked in, they wanted to charge $6 for each of us & saying "because it's a hookah lounge". Uhm from what I recall not all hookah lounges charge by walking in, they charge by bowl. To top that off they were very rude & isn't professional when answering the phone.
