They have a variety of tap beers, wine and cocktails. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My friend just ordered a glass of beer that he loved. I opted out to drink since I wanted to eat first and my food was back in the hotel room. I saw customers with different flight drinks with cocktails and wine. I definitely wanted to check out the hot chocolate booze drink and will do so when I return to the area. This is a spot I would like to return and take my time and enjoy some drinks.

Brianna - smooth, not too rich, a close runner up to the Maple 3. Highlands Blush - taste like strawberry! Delicious! 4. Arctic Fox - cool and smooth. Wasn't a favorite among the group, but personally I wanted a bottle. 5. Riesling - still delicious, but no surprises here - expected 6. Aromella - very fruity! Of them all, Terry Robards has emerged as my favorite. They have a pretty decent selection of wines for their size, including some interesting and non-typical selections. The people there know the stock well, and when I went on a Sunday and had a question about a purchase and the salesperson DIDN'T know anything about the bottle I was interested in, she called the owner (impressive). They are very friendly - significantly friendlier than the folks at the other stores, based on my experience. And they are very dog-friendly, which I really like. And they give a 10% discount on wines, and 7% on spirits (why they don't just lower the prices, I can't say - I assume there's some reason they do it this way). In any case, Terry Robards has emerged as my favorite liquor store in Lake Placid (and it doesn't hurt that it is in the same small plaza as the Mini Euro Mart, which I love - if you're going to have people over for drinks, you can get everything you need in one stop).

We really liked the 2023 Louise and 2022 Marquette. In fact, the Marquette was the best of the bunch from my point of view. The ciders were both really sweet, but the Eden Angeljus was pretty good and reminiscent of Mead. The Riesling was also a favorite. We got a cheeseboard for two, and that was freaking delicious. It came with a maple cranberry preserve that was out of this world. But the cheese, and even the crackers, were exceptionally good, too. Beyond that, the service was exemplary. Ruby in particular was a joy to talk to and quite good at her job. Finally, the live music they had playing was surprisingly good. I did not expect that kind of quality on a random Saturday in May. I highly recommend going to this winery.
