He said he could fix it and took our sofa apart and added materials to the bottom of it. I immediately paid him for the job he did but after he left my husband sat in the seat and it sunk all the way down. I sent Ian an email and he said he would come out and look at the sofa again. After examining the sofa, again, he sent me an invoice with an additional charge to fix it!! I questioned why I would pay twice to get the job I hired him for and he replied that it needed additional service to actually fix the problem! I then told him that I wanted my money back for the insufficient job....he flat out refused! Bad service and bad business practice!

First he said he would meet us to return the money, then he said he would mail it. I still have not received the money. He cashed the check right away at a smartcheck. Now he is ignoring my calls.

Dan was referred to me by a close friend to upholster my 1963 Chevy truck seat. I had all the…read morematerials. Dan said that it would take a couple weeks to a month. I said that is fine. Eleven months and 16 days from one year, I finally got my seat back. Dan has one excuse after another. His customer service is pathetic and had I know it was going to take nearly a year to get my seat I would have taken it to someone else. I had to threaten to file theft charges against him to finally get my seat. How you can be in business for 40 years with service like this is deplorable. Please find other avenues if your considering using him to upholster anything for you.
