We ordered pea gravel to be delivered to our home and wanted it left in the driveway. We asked if they could fit their truck all the way to our garage, please do so and if not to leave it at the end of our driveway. (Our driveway is narrow and we weren't sure if their trucks could fit between our house and the neighbor's house.) When they came, we weren't home so we have video footage of this. They pulled their truck into our backyard, knocking the side light off our house and damaging our fence very badly. They tried numerous times to get the truck back there with no regard to damaging our property and our neighbor's fence. When I contacted the owner he said he'd send someone out to repair both. The light was popped back on and he zip tied the fence which was a completely unacceptable solution. When I called again about fixing the fence the owner said, well if I call a fence guy it will take three months for them to even come out. Meanwhile it's been almost three months we've had this broken fence. He never came back, never called and now I'm stuck paying for their damages. I will never use this business again. read more

I needed top soil for seed and questions them about it. They said it was ready for spreading and seeding. THAT was not the case. In 2 yards of tops soil I removed 6, 5 gallon pails of stones up to an 1" or more in size and numerous roots and many clumps of dirt up to 4" in diameter. It was not top soil at all. They had NO interest in me when I complained If you want VERY poor quality at a High Price, use these people If you want quality, use another supplier. One star is to high a rating. read more

I stopped and asked about a particular AT clover Nursery. The person in the office directed me to a pot that did not look like what I was wanting. Then I saw someone else walk by and I asked him; he took me to a totally different area. I picked out two colors and went back to the office. The owner walked in and the man who misdirected me. I said to the owner that I had been sent initially in the wrong direction. His response was :We are not perfect". The man who had misdirected me then said "IF YOU WANT PERFECT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE." This indicates they have No concept of customer satisfaction. They are RUDE. I PICKED IP MY PURSE AMD LEFT THE PLANTS I HAD SELECTED AND WENT OUT THE DOOR. read more

Clover gave me a very fair price and did an outstanding job taking down an evergreen tree. They surveyed the yard to make sure it would support their equipment. They had a team of 5 people to efficiently dismember and remove the tree and all tree debris. They cleaned up after they were done and shocked me on how quickly it was all done. They had the right tools, heavy equipment the right number of people on the project. This is my first experience with Clover and will not be my last. read more

No effort made to help solve a small problem. Absolutely not interested in customer satisfaction. No stars would be more appropriate.

After looking at several companies I hired Clover Lawn to remove a back yard tree. They were not the lowest quote. During the quote phase Tom Lechner stated that he NEVER had any trouble with lines and never needed to have any removed before or during the tree removal. He also said that he would not hit our new fence and that he would notify us 2 days before arriving. A three man crew including Tom Lechner then proceeded to call 30 minutes before showing up. I was shocked by the disregard that Tom showed to his other two ground workers. He proceeded to drop tree limbs way to close to them and other than hearing protection they had no other safety equipment. The entire removal process was one of sheer insanity. Tom hit the wires to the house and my neighbors wires and finally ripped one off our house. He hit the garage several times and the final blow was when a extremely large limb hit the new cedar fence necessitating that one panel be replaced. After the first day I ask Tom if I could speak to him and he said they were late and he would talk to me the next day. He never showed back up. He sent his two man crew back to do a very weak job of cleanup. I would NEVER hire this company and if you are thinking of hiring them you must have already decided to tear down your house. read more

We used this company for snow removal and lawn care. Their snow removal was inconsistent and they destroyed our lawn. As for lawn care, they left large patches of uncut grass, clumps of cut grass all over the lawn. In a big rush to get done w/o regard for quality. There are many great lawn service providers out there, this is not one of them! read more

We had a couple very large trees removed from our front yard. From the initial contact to the finishing of the job, Tom Lechner and his crew at Clover was nothing but professional and courteous throughout. Their quote was the lowest of the 3 I obtained, they had impressive equipment to make the job go quickly that showed up onsite right when it was needed (overhead bucket-crane, bobcat, trucks, chipper, stump-grinder), and there was a solid and courteous 3-5 man crew there making sure things went quickly and efficiently. They are also fully insured. Tom communicated the schedule and the plans every step of the way and executed it as described. We hated to lose these trees, but we are (so far) very happy with the job Clover did for us. (There will be some finish work including topsoil/grading in the spring- I have high confidence they will do that like pros as well, but will revise this review if they don't.) read more
