Halfway through the service, after acrylics were already applied, she told me the colors I had chosen were "for regular polish, not gel," and made me change them. I was very clear from the start that I wanted a sparkly base and chrome, which was clearly visible in the reference photo. She assured me that even though she was using a matte color, it would "end up sparkly." This was not true. She then applied gray over my nails, a color I never wanted or approved. The design looked nothing like the reference photo. When I finally spoke up, I was told that if I wanted my nails to actually look like the photo, the price was now $90--a price that was never mentioned before or during the service. Changing the price after the service has already gone wrong is completely unacceptable. The final result was nothing like what I requested and honestly looked terrible. I paid $70 for nails I hated and was extremely upset afterward. When I called the next day to explain that I was unhappy, Lynn yelled at me, told me that "anywhere else this would be $100," and dismissed my concerns. This was never about the price--it was about lack of transparency, poor communication, and misleading customers. This experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. I will be disputing the charge and reporting this business. I do not recommend this salon.
