On September 5, 2025, Nick performed my pedicure. Throughout the session, he was not friendly; whenever I made a request, he appeared annoyed. Additionally, Nick frequently used his phone to send text messages while I was waiting. After sharing my concern about Nick's unfriendly demeanor, another individual--who may be his wife or girlfriend--argued with me, insisting that Nick was, in fact, friendly. When I disagreed, she became upset and responded in a rude manner. Based on this experience, I do not recommend Great Nails & Spa. I will not name my regular nail tech because too many people see her already! This is my go-to nail salon. I use to live right around the corner from this salon, I now live a good distance from it and still choose this place over closer nail salons. I know this is the case for many of the regular customers. I overhear people constantly talking about how they drive from Jonestown, Liberty Hill, etc just for the service. I will echo what other reviewers have said, this will be the BEST pedi you ever get. You will also likely have the BEST massage here too. I have never had a better massage. My daughter just got the worst manicure I've ever seen here. It was supposed to be SNS ombré, but it doesn't look like ombré. Grainy, not smoothly faded. Thick. Lumpy. Longer than she wanted. Two places where cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding. And Sr. Prom is tomorrow! I will say at least they gave us her money back without argument (what could they say...it looks horrible and they had a store full of people watching) but I did have to insist that they refund what she paid plus $10 she will now have to pay someone else to take off the awful nails tomorrow morning before she gets ready for prom. UPDATE: I got back from my work trip late last night, 3/22. I called this morning and explained what happened. The salon let me come in and they fixed my nail for free, even though at this point it has been a week later. They were sweet about it. The rest of my nails still look good and are on. My pedi still looks good and my toes aren't sore anymore. I would go back. I went in on Friday 3/15 and got my nails done for a wedding I was in on Saturday 3/16. She had to Put tips on my nails because they were shorter than usual and then we did the abs dip. My nails looked great got the wedding, but today, 3/20 one of my nails broke in half when I barely touched it. They are less than a week old! I'm traveling for work, so I can't even go into the salon to see if they can fix it. I would have given a much higher rating if this didn't happen. I get dip pretty regularly, and this was my first time at this place. I'm not sure if I will go back after this. Staff was nice and massages were great. However, I also wanted to note that the tops of my toes were really sore the next couple days after my pedi too. It was really weird. read more

If you're looking to relax, this is not the place for you. They play loud, obnoxious pop music right behind your head and have very loud staff. The clientele seemed to be a bit seedy. I personally don't go to a nail salon to listen to loud groups of women getting their nails done in packs- that's what a bar is for. I went in for a pedicure after a really hard day and a lot of stress from a third pregnancy. I just wanted to sit in some peace and quiet while someone rubbed my swollen feet. I had to get up and leave mid soak before I threw something at the blaring speakers behind me. It honestly reminded me of what nail salons were 15 years ago growing up in downtown Atlanta. You don't have the spa options like hot stones, towel wraps, mud or paraffin wax. They don't do a true callous removal. They don't even offer you a mini bottled water or any other beverage. It was definitely a low end experience. The technicians may very well be talented but I didn't get that far. They don't communicate well at all and the atmosphere is nothing short of a catastrophe, I just had to go! read more

Initially, I thought this place was great. Loved the massage chairs and long massages. After using them a handful of times though, I've started to see flaws. They don't truly hold appointments and can be rude at times. My biggest issue is that I went in for a pedicure a few days ago and the man that I had made me very uncomfortable. He kept tickling me deliberately even after I asked him to stop. I usually don't have too much of a ticklish spot either. Additionally, he cut three of my cuticles and now my big toe has an infection. Did I mention this pedicure was supposed to relax and prep me for my labor induction?? Now I get to go to the hospital with painful toes and an awful experience. Guessing the reviews they say they don't sanitize their tools are accurate. Stay away!! read more

I hate for this to sound over dramatic, but I mean this sincerely: This was, without a doubt, THE best pedicure I've ever had. Thoroughly cleaned the whole nail and cuticle area, really scrubbed with the pumice stone, and the BEST massage anywhere and I never once felt rushed. The gentleman that did the cleaning and massage portion of the pedicure even passed me on to someone else once it was time to paint because it wasn't his strong suit-and I appreciated that! The staff was so friendly, accommodating, and hard-working. It may not be the fanciest-looking nail salon in the area, but you get the best for what you pay for as far as a pedicure goes. For years I drove past this place thinking it was just another nail salon. Then I complimented my friend on her nails and found out she goes here and gets her nails done by June. Then I found out two other friends go to June and yet another friend comes here and sees Mai. I took the hint and made an appointment to see June and the rest is history. I love the gel polish and June's attention to detail is outstanding. I have thin weak nails and she works well with them. The pedicures are great too. Hai gives the BEST massages but doesn't do as well painting the toenails. Ask for him but ask someone else to paint. You won't be disappointed. Typically I get solid color but this last visit I showed June a picture from Pinterest and she duplicated it perfectly! I highly suggest you call ahead and make an appointment. They take walk-ins but I have seen long wait times for walk-ins. Those seem to be the folks who get angry and create a scene. Please don't be one of them. Nothing kills the relaxation vibe like an angry Leanderthal who thought she could squeeze in a mani AND a pedi with just 45 minutes until it's time to pick up her 437 children. This would have been my 2nd time having a pedicure at this location. It would have been my sister's 3rd. I called to make a reservation for 3 pedicures. We were told that to meet my requests they would have us come in at 10am. I specifically requested the nail tech as I had been so pleased with the removal of a pesky ingrown toenail. I was assured that (A) all 3 of us would be started at the same time and (B) I would have my requested technician. As we did not get started at 10am, we were told "oh our staff is always 5-10 minutes late, but no more". Fine, we were seated and started soaking our feet. 15 minutes later we still hadn't gotten started. Then my requested technician informed me that "I know you have an appointment with me, but I'm passing you off to someone else"?!? This was so she could work on someone else. I was then told "oh we didn't know you requested someone specific". Which was it they knew but were handing me off or they didn't know??? Still, no one had arrived to begin our service. Nobody wants to share toe jam. No one. That being said, if this ONE STEP was done, I really like this place. The chairs are comfy, they allow different types of massages as you soak your feet. The water for the pedicure is comfortably warm. They use plastic liners in the foot bath. They do a great job making your feet look amazing & give you a sugar scrub on your legs & a massage. The massage I got was VERY STRONG... kind of painful...not my style. I probably should've said something. I have really calloused dry feet, and they did a great job making them almost smooth! I can never get it that way at home, so I was happy with how they did. I was also happy with the paint job- very meticulous & looked great!
