Love this place! I am fully vaccinated now and wanted to give myself a treat. I got a hot stone manicure/pedicure and a full set of acrylics. They were busy at one time, so told me to come back later and I had no wait when I returned. I get my acrylics as short as possible and rounded square because I want them to look as natural as possible, and while some places have a hard time getting them to my picky specifications, they did it perfect here. The owners are very sweet, the husband did my pedicure efficiently and gently and the wife did my nails. They're very kind. I will be back! read more

The cost of manicure pedicure, any nail service has gone up pretty extensively. I was introduced to fancy nails by a friend and we had a great time. It was not very much social amongst the employees, they simply work hard and check to see if we needed anything. I got a full pedicure with a massage, scrub, hot towel, and paraffin on both feet for $35. I need a nail fixed on a new set that I just broke and a change of nail color which was great for $13. Normally I've been a little over $100 each visit and I'm trying to figure out how to best stretch my visit from month to month to save. It was a horrible experience my friend and I went to do our nails at this establishment and asked if they could take us both to do our nail; they responded yes,... so I go to restroom and used number one... the toilet would not flush so I came out of restroom and as soon as I stepped out of restroom one of the male employees there goes in comes out and says that I'm rude for not flushing the toilet... I advised them that there toilet does not flush so they rejected my business; along with being degraded and yelled at. I've gone several times since moving and it's been ok, but better than other places in the area. Well the last two times I've felt like I've been rushed. They've done my nails while sitting in the massage chair getting a pedicure! That defeats the whole purpose of going there to relax. Then this last time my nails look hideous! They started turning yellow and look like I've had them for a month or more. I've barely had them two weeks. I usually have nails done and filled every 3-4 weeks. I had taken a break from fake nails, so they had fresh untouched nails to work with. I asked if they would redo and they said I waited to long to call. I had a very bad experience here. I had come 2 times so I thought it was okay. My friend had invited me there. I took her there to get our nails done. We waited for like 35 minutes before being seated. I went to sit and my friend had went to the bathroom and came back quickly and stood beside o chat. Maybe like 10 minutes pass and one of the nail techs start to raise her voice at my friend saying she didn't flush the toilet in a loud and rude manner. Of course my friend apologized to her and said it didn't flush. The nail tech kept on telling her the same thing and began raising her voice even more and said that is why I'm not doing your nails. I think the nail tech could of handled it different and not talk to my friend the way she did. We had a waited there for quite a while before she decided to bash my friend and continue to yell at her. So I decide to leave. read more

So, I was a HUGE fan of this place until my last visit. I've spent tons of money here and even recommended them to others looking for a good nail salon. BUT, after my last visit, I will NEVER go back. I've had plenty of manicures here and my only complaint was that during busy periods they would rush me out with my nails still wet. This past week though, I finally had the time to get a pedicure and it was a super GROSS eye opener. They were fairly dead (it was a Friday evening...) and I went alone. My boredom got the best of me and I started watching exactly what the guy doing my pedicure was doing (or not doing). He started off by putting on a pair of gloves sitting at his station, which I assumed were new. (At the end he washed them and put them back!) Then he went over by the hand sinks and grabbed a cheese grater and a rough looking sponge, I wasn't too worried about this because I'd seen it done a dozen times before. (But never on me.) Everything was fine until he cut open both of my feet with it and it hurt BAD. He apologized profusely but when he was done, he went over to the hand sink, rinsed it with cold water and put it BACK in with the other cheese graters. I was absolutely horrified! I was hoping it was an isolated incident, but while my nails were drying he did the same exact thing with all of the tools he used on my nails. I was so disgusted when I left, he cut my feet so deep it was hard to walk. Thankfully, I did not get an infection and my feet are finally healed! But, with their complete lack of cleanliness and sanitization, I could have easily wound up with a very severe infection. It makes me think back to every time I've had a manicure there and the very likely possibility that NONE of the tools they've used on me have ever been cleaned with anything but cold water. I know it's convenient to the car wash, which is exactly how I originally wound up there, but it's worth the wait to find somewhere that doesn't jeopardize their customers health. read more

I have been going here for years and after my experience today I will never be going back. Do NOT go get your eye brows done here! I went in with B to get them done today. When I walked into the room, the room was disgusting and was not cleaned from the last customer. I waited to settle in until she came back to clean it but when she did, she insisted for me to just sit and continue. I asked her to just clean up my eye brows and after the most painful experience (I've gotten them waxed for 10+ years), I was left with the most uneven and the skinniest eye brows ever. After she showed me, I was clearly really upset and she was so inconsiderate. All she could say was to stop crying. You could tell she just wanted me to get out so she could move on. She warned me to not judge a book by its cover, as this place isn't exactly "fancy" in its interior or exterior, but promised I wouldn't be disappointed. To me, I could care less about the appearance of the salon, so long as the work I pay for is done with care and attention to detail. I scored big. I have hunted the Cedar Park/North Austin area for decent gel/shellac salons since I moved north a year ago. I have probably garnered a "Negative Nancy"-esque reputation for my negative reviews on Yelp... but I can say with certainty that Fancy Nails has finally broken that cycle for me! I called ahead to see if they were busy and waited maybe 10 minutes when I arrived. That was OK however; b/c the overwhelming amount of Shellac color options took me nearly 5 minutes to dig through. Very impressive color selection. Best I've seen in North Austin/Cedar Park. I had a gentleman named Ca/Kah (spelling?) work on my nails and he was so unbelievably polite, talkative and knowledgeable about shellac. I had explained my frustrations with my other gel/shellac experiences (The more I went, the less it lasted...) and he went point by point through my complaints and explained why that was, what the salon was doing wrong (in most of the cases, it was a classic example of someone not being thorough) and how that can be avoided. I write this review 2 weeks after seeing him and I have had NO problems... except grow out, my color is still perfectly intact. Biggest Tip from Him: When you wash your hands after the manicure but prior to the gel application, do not use SOAP! No one ever told me that. Only use water. Will make or break the lasting of your gel! I was so impressed with the manicure I decided to get a pedicure after. Ann took care of me and was equally as pleasant, friendly and polite. The customer service and all around experience was so pleasant I almost can't believe it... & it was genuine. After trying nearly every salon in Cedar Park I can say with certainty that I will not be wasting my time with anyone else. Fancy Nails is the only place to go to feel comfortable, appreciated and receive quality care at very reasonable prices. read more

I am new to town and wanted to get Shellac before I leave for vacation. There was no wait (on a 4pm on a Monday) and there were lots of color choices. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and all the pedicure massage chairs looked relatively new. Thuy was my manicurist and had great attention to detail. As someone who gets Shellac done regularly, I was pleased. The only downside for me was that they do not take American Express. read more

I'm pretty disappointed in this place now. I had my nails done with gel (the one they recommended) less than a week ago. I went in there today and asked the lady how long the polish lasted she told about 2-3weeks. I then showed her my hands and the polish was peeled up to the middle of my nail (in less than a week) she proceded to tell me that this is why they ask if they could do a manicure as well to "pull the cuticle" I'm not a about to start a scene I'm not like that so I politely say alright. I asked her if she couldn't fix it to take it all off because it looked disgusting. She made me wait a very long time then as she was taking my polish off (not gentle at all) she made my cuticles bleed told me to wash my hands and that I could leave. I'm mad at the fact that I paid this place 30+ dollars less than a week ago to get my nails polished and first I get this nonsense excuse as to why it was peeling then she injures me and tells me to leave. She didn't re do it or apologized. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars is because the people that were there both time I went seem to really like service. I've been searching for a nail salon near Cedar Parks that can replicate designs & do a great job with accurately filing and shaping my nails to perfection & this is the one! I got Lee for my first time here & she took her time perfecting my nails. I probably drove them a little crazy trying to find the right green for my Super Bowl nails but I had to find the perfect shade of Eagles green. They were so patient & helped me get the right color. I came in wanting SNS but since they don't have a big selection in SNS I did acrylic and gel on top. The Super Bowl was a week away & my nails lasted me for 2 weeks. The jewels were put on with a top coats they all fell off by the end of the next day. I went back and had her glue them on. She glued on the jewels but her coworker told her to use glitter polish under the jewels & once again the jewels were put on with glitter came off but the nails looked fine for the Eagles win. For Valentine's Day Sunny did my nails and he helped me find a matching pink for my toes. I got SNS nails & a pedicure. The nails were perfect, just like the picture I showed him. This picture is 2 weeks after I got them done. My pedi was great as well. Not sure how the tools are cleaned throughout the salon but they always seem to be cleaning up something within the salon when I'm there. Overall they are great people, very respectful, & all techs are great at doing nails. read more

Dropped off my car across the street to get detailed and was told there was going to be a long wait to get to my car so I looked across the street and saw a hamburger joint and a nail salon... Since I'm a vegetarian, I opted for the nail joint... Walked in and noticed immediately it was very outdated and the smell of smoke caught my nose... Wanted to give them a try... Everyone was too busy on their phones and left me hangin like a lost puppy at the door... Sat down ready to get pampered and after my feet were dunked in ice cold water I realized everyone is wiping their noses and coughing. Sh*t! Am I going to leave with the flu. They reuse their utensils without cleaning them.. Only splash the foot baths off with the used dirty water... I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose a toe or two.. The reason for the 2 stars is for the sweet girl who painted my nails... I want to take her with me and get her out of this disease infected shop... This place needs a visit from an inspector... They need a sanitation class and to ditch the smokes... I'm pretty sure a guy just reused the rubber gloves... He is pulling out the crinkled fingers to get them on! Help me!!!! And... To top it off, these techs have poor hygiene.... That's a big deal in this industry my friends... Look like a million bucks when you leave for work in the morn.. Or at least a $20... No I don't want the deluxe pedicure! Dipping my feet in reused paraffin wax is not something I want to indulge in today or ever! If you care about clean utensils digging in your skin or don't want an infection... Go further down the street, there is a nail shop on every corner... Bypass this one... Save a toe... I shoulda opted for the hamburger... 1 week later! THEY ADD EXTRA TIP TO YOUR CREDIT CARD! I tipped the nail girl $2 and tipped the pedi girl in cash. Checked my statement and they added $5 extra to the tip! read more

OMG this place is amazing!!!! They were a little busy when I walked in. I only had to wait maybe 10 mins before they could get to me. That's fine I don't mind waiting. B started my nails and had to have Tam finish them due to a family situation. No worries Tam did an amazing job!!!!! It may be because I've been coming here with my mom since I was a teenager, but I love this place! The owner and employees all treat me so well when I come in. You don't get that awkward feel like they're talking about you or laughing at you because they strive to do a great job even when you're unhappy with the result.
