This was my first visit to Clover Smile Studio. I found them online while searching for a Dental office that performs dental work on patients who are memory impaired like my mom who has dementia. So I was a bit apprehensive. however they made me feel very welcome when I spoke with an office person, I believe his name is Michael, by phone. When I arrived very early for my Mom's appointment, I was looking for a handicap ramp to wheel my mom in (she's 86), and Michael came out to guide me on where I could do that. I thought that was nice of him to take the time to walk outside and guide us. So after going in and filling out the paperwork, i had the opportunity to meet with the dental assistant. I felt very, very comfortable with her as she was very, very nice, and cordial, and accommodating to my mom which was the most important thing to me. After she managed to capture x-rays with this cool portable x-ray device, I was feeling much more comfortable since I didn't think my mom would let her capture x-rays since she does not enjoy people touching her or putting things in her mouth. But the dental assistant was able to do that with ease! Then the dentist came in to examine her and we discussed what our options were and I was very, very happy with our discussion. He was honest, and candid and very cordial with my mom. I was impressed with my first visit and I'm sure I will continue to be impressed with subsequent visits! I had an appointment with this dental office as a new patient after my previous dentist performed procedures on me without consent. It was very important then for me to find a new dentist who was respectful and able to deal with a gag reflex. I arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time and the person at the front desk would not look at me or acknowledge me whatsoever. The accounts person behind her, to her credit, finally acknowledged me and welcomed me and explained it would be a minute. I get that things can get busy and am willing to wait a reasonable amount of time as long as I am acknowledged and addressed respectfully. The person at the front desk eventually took my ID but was really brusque and unwelcoming still despite me continuing to be respectful and polite to her. I was asked to take a seat and told I would be called back. 25 minutes past the appointment time I had not been called back and no one had approached to explain the delay, let alone apologize. So I finally asked what was going on. She apologized twice now for the delay but remained unsmiling and distinctly unfriendly. At that point, she basically invited me to leave! I mean really?! What sort of business is this? You treat a new customer as an imposition and tell them to leave? At no point was I rude or pushy so her behavior was completely bizarre to me. She said they'd had a "difficult" patient who had taken longer than expected. I can completely understand that, but in the meanwhile you might want to let your waiting patients know there's a delay. You could reasonably offer to reschedule, but inviting them to just leave? Incredible. The place is in a strip mall next door to a gas station. It's all pretty sketchy. Not sure about all these glowing reviews but it certainly was not a positive experience at all for me. read more

As of June 2024 the practice was bought by new owners. No emails or letters were sent out. I came back for my second routine cleaning of the year in November 2024 and found out these new owners/doctors are just being scammers. All doctors are new and all staff as well. Dr. Karnik refused to do my routine cleaning because I denied his suggestion for a deep cleaning and replacement fillings. Fillings that I never had done in my entire life. Some how between June and November this supposed damage happened. Being with Dr. Patel for 3 years already this was very upsetting. I had to cancel my visit and left within minutes of my arrival because he refused to do my routine cleaning. Then to top it all off they have the courage to still process this as a visit to my insurance. They billed $101 for the 5 mins it took Dr. Karnik to tell me what HE wanted me to get done and refuse what I had originally scheduled 6 months prior which was my routine cleaning that I always had done there with the previous owners/doctor. The front desk staff also wouldn't tell me where Dr.Patel moved to and said none of the previous owners/doctors were practicing anymore. Prior to this owner change I had referred my dad to them because I was very happy with Dr.Patel. But he got stuck with the new doctors and they also did the same thing of making him get a deep cleaning instead of routine with a bunch of other things they said he needed. Neither of us are returning. Dont fall for their scammy way of business. read more

I've had a 5-star experience from the beginning! I came here for Invisalign after a failed attempt at Smile Direct Club. Scheduling is easy, everyone is friendly, and the office is clean and fun! There are TVs in the rooms and a play place for kids in the waiting room. Not to mention my teeth! They are WAY better than when I started! read more

Not a patient, my current Dentist needed a 3D scan and he referred me to this Dental office. From the start it was unbelievable just giving my insurance, and getting a hold of someone to answer the phone and set a appointment Took 2 weeks to set a appointment no return calls and when I made a appointment it was not available at the last hour receptionist calls me to say my Dental plan is not active, when we called it was active and current she was calling incorrect number. Husband had a hard time giving her instructions she was quick to get off the phone with him. Upon arrival I tried opening the door at 11:45 am 6/18/19 and appointment at 12pm knowing I probably would have paper work to fill out like every other Medical place when your new. NO surprise the door was locked, became a joke. Must have been on Lunch cause I tried calling no answer but I waited till 11:55am and checked the door again at 11:57 am, thankfully the door opened and as I suspected paper work to fill out and wow was she disorganized not sure if she was new or just off the times I had called, I believe her name was Irma at front desk. For the Pros the Dental assistant was pleasant efficient and friendly and the place looked clean. Overall Just thankful got what was needed and have a Dental location a lot more organized. read more

Clover Smile Studio is a true five star experience! I was really impressed with Dr. Ruparelia and his warm inviting team. They were friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything as they went. Their expertise and calm demeanor really kept my dental anxiety at bay. Most importantly, the cleaning was fast and painless. The office is impeccable, stylish and well equipped with latest technology, they even have tv's on the ceiling so you can relax and watch your favorite show while getting the procedures done, this is awesome! Modern, state of the art dental facility. They never act as though they need your money, don't try and upsell services either. I have been here twice and each time the wait was minimal after checking in. Just wish the dentist would not ask "are you okay " so many times during procedures. read more

Words cannot express how much I love Clover Smile Studios. I am one of those individuals that has extreme anxiety every time I go to the dentist. Dr. Patel and his team make it their #1 priority to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They provide great communication during the exam, checking in on you for discomfort and informing you on what they are currently doing during the exam. They work terrifically as a team and very knowledgeable. Not only do they provide excellent service but they also do their job quickly and with proficiency. I've been to way too many dental offices in my lifetime, and this is definitely one of the best. When my last dentist suddenly was out of network with my insurance, I had to scramble to find a new one. This place opened up close to my house, so I thought I'd try them. Every person I've come in contact with who works there is knowledgeable, has treated me with respect, and gave great customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and that I was comfortable and happy. I love how technologically advanced and brand new everything is here. I was cracking up while watching The Office on Netflix while the dentist was doing her thing. Their office hours are a little non-traditional, but that's a good thing. I decided on this place on a whim after not being able to get into a different Austin dentist until the spring of next year. I really only wanted a cleaning because I have a dentist in New York that I trust and wanted to continue to see. This is because I had a really bad experience at another dentist in Austin so I elected to just keep my NY dentist and fly home twice a year to see the doctor that knows me and my tooth history. I was desperate for a cleaning though before my engagement pictures. The woman whom I spoke to was friendly and said I could do just the cleaning but an exam would be paid for by my insurance. I decided to just do it all and ignore whatever the dentist was going to say. Luckily my experience was far superior than I ever expected. They had a lot of appointment options with times later in the evening so I didn't have to take off of work. The office is bright and clean. After filling out paper work I was seen promptly. There are TVs in the rooms with Netflix to ease the anxiety. The doctor came in and took the time to answer my questions. I gave him my whole history of my past experiences of how I all of a sudden had 16 cavities at the other Austin dentist and when I went home to my old dentist I didn't have any. This dentist was so kind and looked at my teeth and x rays and agreed with my NY dentist. I felt such at ease knowing I didn't need any unnecessary dental work. There are good people out there that aren't looking to fix problems that aren't even there. He was able to polish a tooth that I had been stained. He was able to fix it with some polishing. I didn't realize how self conscious I was about the brown tooth until he gave me a mirror and it was white! I had tears in my eyes when he showed me. What was even more surprising was that the dentist cleaned my teeth! Never have I ever had the dentist take the time to clean my teeth. He checked on my frequently asking if I was okay. It was quick and thorough. Everyone was kind and took the time to find out what was important to me. I'm so pleased with my experience. It's hard to find a good dentist. I love this place! The staff and doctors are just awesome! I went in bc I originally had a tooth ache and I love how relaxed and comfortable they make you feel. I always say I HATE going to the dentist but wow they make sure I never have an uncomfortable experience. I'm now going to get more work done and will continue to use them for whitenings, cleanings and other dental needs! They are quick, efficient and do such a great job! It's been a while since I've been to a dentist and she really made me feel comfortable by answering all my questions regarding treatment options. The staff was also helpful and attentive. I didn't go to the dentist for far too long and first visited Clover a couple months before my wedding a couple years ago. A big fear of mine was being judged for not going to the dentist regularly, but there wasn't a second I felt judged. Since then, I go every six months and actually look forward to seeing the staff. It's a great group and the dentists & assistants are very nice and professional. They take all necessary steps during COVID as well, so you feel safe during your visit. Quick, thorough, and professional! I went in as a new patient for a cleaning (with a slight case of the yuck mouth) which turned into a deep clean. I was not "sold" to, they showed their findings from the pictures/Xrays and provided their opinions with no pressure. This was one of the best dental experiences I've had as there was no pain setting up for the cleaning, during the cleaning, or after.
