Booking swim lessons was easy & the staff was very responsive & accommodating to my schedule via email & text. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm welcomes & goodbyes every lesson from both the front desk & swim instructor. My son LOVED Bullfrog Swim School & his instructor Miss Sally. As parents we couldn't have asked for a better instructor for our son. Miss Sally was very calm, patient, & loving towards our baby boy. By the end of his 10 lessons our 18 month old was able to hold his breath, kick, blow bubbles, & find the edge of the pool. We will definitely book more lessons with Miss Sally to get him fully swimming as he reaches 2!

They start off in the training pool and toward the last week they make it into the deep pool. I enrolled him in another 9 lessons right after. And he definitely learned how to swim. They give them free play a few minutes before they're done. Which the kids enjoy like jumping off the diving boards. The instructors are great and make sure each kid is learning the strokes and they get evaluated. I will definitely do it again next summer. Luckily, I signed him up for 2 sessions right away because the slots fill up fast and you get to chose the school site close to you.

Kids get 7 half hour lessons and learn NOTHING!!!! I have a 4 yr old who did nothing but cry because she was constantly switched off with different instructors and was never able to gain any trust. They didn't even teach any useful skills, like saving themselves if they were to fall in. My 8 year old who already has the basics of swimming but by no means is a "swimmer" yet didn't learn anything useful either. I asked him what he learned and he listed off tricks like headstands, summersaults, and cannon balls. Don't waste your money, just fork up a little more and go through an actual school with proven results.

Heat is a great place for volleyball players (all-gender) to get some practice in! There are 2…read morecourts (indoor), plenty of seating on the bleachers, and 8 chairs and a sofa off the court that spectators can comfortably view from. There is a net separating the 2 courts from each other so that balls aren't flying across courts. There's an additional net protecting the spectator chairs from the courts. The temperature is kept cool, it's not stuffy, and there's great music playing. There are bathrooms and a water fountain for use. They also have Heat apparel for purchase at the front desk. As of now, it's $10 per player and free for spectators. Note: There is another room (aside from the one pictured) that has 3-4 additional indoor courts to use for practice.

I was very happy with the friendly onboarding of the staff at Shapemakers/Sierra and affordability of the plan. They have month to month, not endless years and years of payment plans. Because of COVID there are limited classes, but I go mostly for the gym. I taught Yoga here back in the late 90's to early 2000's when I lived in Fresno before. I enjoyed it then, but feel that the addition of the cute gift shop, the overhaul of the snack bar into a restaurant due this year and generally, the service level of this club is good. If you do join the racquet/pool part of the club, the grounds are gorgeous. As a young teen I remember coming here nights, listening to live music and dancing on a summer evening. As a first-time parent enrolling a child in swimming lessons, I expected clear guidance and basic support. Unfortunately, very little was explained on my child's first day, and when I sought clarification, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. One staff member, Eileen, came across as sarcastic when answering questions and made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply by seeking information that should have been provided from the outset. Another incident was with a younger staff member at the front desk that appeared disengaged and does not care about what's going on around her, often ignoring customers who were trying to get assistance. On more than one occasion, she rolled her eyes when people attempted to get her attention, which I found highly unprofessional and discourteous. Overall, the customer service was disappointing. The contrast between the welcoming attitude shown during enrollment and the treatment received afterward was striking. Based on my experience, the staff's lack of communication, attentiveness, and professionalism significantly detracted from what should have been a positive experience.

The best part is the one for little kiddos is all covered by tree cover. It's entirely shaded-the swings the slide all of it!! No other park has that! Lol. Haven't used their batting cages, dog park or restrooms yet, but we see others using them constantly. There are also quite a bit of picnic shelters here. Great for parties!
