They couldn't figure it out and eventually gave up, telling me they didn't stock the part and that I should try ordering it online. I then found Benchmark Pool Supply online and went to their store at 3017 W. Bullard Ave in Fresno. The sales rep immediately identified the part, but they didn't have it in stock. Instead of sending me away, he called Bryan at their other store at 811 Barstow in Clovis. They FaceTimed and discussed the issue, and Bryan confirmed he had the complete valve assembly at a very reasonable price. I had my pool equipment fixed within 5 minutes. It really makes a tremendous difference who you work with--saving time, money, and gas. You can go to a store with inexperienced employees who don't seem to care, or you can work with knowledgeable, caring individuals like the staff at Benchmark Pool Supply. So far Mike has been extremely communicative throughout the process of fixing my broken pool/spa heater. The project isn't complete yet however I would like to leave a review based on his communication and knowledge thus far. Mike came out on a Saturday and ran a diagnostic test (yes, there is a fee but every co charges one) and provided me with the possible options we had. He told me he would get back to me by Monday if he found the part he thinks may be the issue. Mike reached out to me on Monday as promised and told me he found the control board. He also provided me with the price of the total repair for this (thank you!). We have another appointment scheduled and I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new control board will fix the problem. Overall: I'm impressed with Mike's professionalism, his knowledge, and his honesty. He showed up on time as promised! He's efficient and overall nice guy!! The chlorine was reading off the charts for our kit. We purchased a container of neutralizer from another Leslies (see that review) and it had come down a little but was still off the chart. He was able to tell us how much more neuttalizer we'd need. (Another full container. Our pool is only 14,000 gallons!) We will be back to keep our pool in tip top shape. That said, I travel with a Service Dog and this place gets Baileys 4paws up. Zero issues.
