The drinks weren't super sweet either and had the perfect amount of sweetness. You can really taste the cucumber and lychee in the cocktail. Same for the peach mojito. The peach flavor was apparent. My partner enjoyed the New England IPA and said it was good! Service was excellent. The bartenders there were all kind and friendly. There is plenty of seating inside the food hall and the bar section is a dedicated 21+ section so there is some dedicated bar seating. They have last call at 9:30 since they close at 10 pm on Fridays so we made sure to get our last orders in. There is plenty of parking on the side and behind the food hall and on the street. I tried~ *6.9% Sharlie, a hazy IPA. *8.5% Mothman, a DDH hazy IIPA. *10.5% Yacumama, a hazy IIPA with pineapple & coconut notes. ~I liked them all! They were all nice and refreshing on a scorching day. I brought my laptop to do a little work while I sipped and the staff was really nice about directing me to outlets. I actually had my first drink on their patio outside but it got soooo~ hot so I was thankful for all the indoor seating. Clean bathrooms, beers can be bought in cans for purchase and I saw some people just dipping in to grab & go. They had a couple of dedicated spots which filled quickly and then I reckon other parking may be a bit harder to find. Prices are good, staff is great and most importantly beer is cool & inventive. Progress felt like home and the owners made you feel like you were hanging out in someone's backyard bar. Besides seeing someone piss themselves on a chair I never saw anything negative here. They had amazing michelada beers that were perfect for summertime heat. Progress had the best Dodgers postseason watch parties. They would roll out the big screen and the place would be full of fans cheering. It terrible seeing this progress close. There is going to be a big hole left in South El Monte community. I hope the brewery cat finds a nice home!
