I brought two small fans and one large. I got my two small fans yesterday, no problem at all. I came in tonight and Yanna (who I have always been cool and amicable with, for quite a while), acted like my last fan wasn't available and it was somehow stolen, though I had seen it hanging over the staircase the night before. It would simply be ok with me to get my property back. It's shameful that any of this turned out the way it did. I'm literally one of the quietest and nicest people that anyone ever deals with. I did not have any kind of negative interaction, but was treated as if I was being a nuisance and causing a problem. I am always kind and calm, I never have any issue with any server or bartender. It really disappoints me because I've always been a kind guest, and have always been treated well. But I think my time with Chairs is now done. It sucks, because all of my interactions with everyone leading to this moment has been really great. Jess, Cay, Ike, Nigel, Major, Kelly. Everyone until one stupid night with one stupid fan. I was not at all forceful, just inquisitive. I really feel like Yanna didn't have an answer for a very soft question and instead of looking into it, turned me into a villain, using Jess as a stopgap in order to avoid dealing with a very simple situation that could have just been dealt with by either giving my fan back, or the owner spending fifty bucks on a fan of the same caliber and writing it off as a business expense. Parking is free and the door is free from 6-9 PM. After 9 PM it's a $15 cover. For my Mom's 75th we reserved a table for 10 and planned to dance, eat & drink to our heart's desire. Ellery's didn't disappoint. I'd called ahead to Mr. Shane Murphy - great customer service and greeted me at our table to say thank you. It was also quite thin and watery, which didn't suit my taste, so I ended up sending it back. What really stood out was the service! We nicely brought it to our servers attention and she quickly took the plate back to the kitchen for a resolution. Well the resolution or lack there was is where it took a turn. The manager comes to the table, already defensive, leans from behind the booth to say, "I made that plate, I know I didn't put a penny there." We all blanked stared him confused. So then he says, "what you want another fish or something?" After responding that we don't even have Pennies and asking him is that his conclusion...he walks away, no resolution just attitude. That blew our entire experience. The icing on the cake is that we still paid for a full meal, didn't even get to finish mine and 20% gratuity was automatically added.
