Most of the entry is through what would be the back entrance because that is where the parking is. You walk through there covered patio. Nice and cozy, most hightop table and a few regular tables. They do have televisions out there, so you'll never miss a game. You walk in, you'll find a good amount of seating and plenty of televisions. You will not miss a sport up in there. There is bar seating, which seemed to be real popular spot to sit. It wasn't crowded. The staff was very attentive and really nice and upbeat. Beer drinkers, this is the spot for you and if you're not a beer drinker, I bet they can recommend something good and tasty. Don't shy away non beer drinkers, they have you covered. Went with a co-worker after a work event. Ordered food. We ordered apps, a margarita flight and entrees. Some plastic from the food packaging was in my food. The servers were gracious and informed me that I could have a different entree and it would be on the house. I opted for another margarita because unfortunately the other food wasn't good either. We went in to have a bite after one of my concerts. Honestly all three of us should have sent our burgers back but one of us was hungry and just ate it. All three of the burgers were overcooked, and there were multiple problems with the toppings on the burgers too. But we have been here multiple times and haven't had issues to this level before so I was like let's just try something else. I tried the shrimp instead and it was much better! The ambiance is pretty cool with a ton of screens for watching whatever sport you could possibly want! I do think that the cook was just not their best one because the server wasn't surprised about us sending back food at all haha! As we approached, we appreciated the large shared parking lot--plenty of spots for everyone, which is always a plus. Behind the bar, I noticed a nearly full wall of beer taps--and I couldn't help but smile. He told us to sit wherever we liked and said he'd let a server know. About 10 minutes later, our server arrived, giving us just enough time to browse the beer menu via QR code. I went with a Parish Ghost in the Machine, along with a taste of the SweetWater Peach IPA. My wife chose the Pineapple Mana Wheat from Maui Brewing Co. The beers came out quickly, and we were happy with our choices. Next, we turned to the food menu. My wife ordered the chicken nachos, and I went for the Korean fried chicken sandwich. Our server offered tater tots and fries as sides, but I decided to be slightly good and chose coleslaw. For my second round, I tried Hoprodisiac from Akademia Brewing Co.--my first time tasting it, and I really enjoyed it. My sandwich was massive--and absolutely delicious. I loved every bite. My wife's nachos? Also a hit... though let's just say she wasn't super eager to share. Can't blame her--they were that good! She also noted how clean the bathrooms were, which is always a great sign. It was 8:52pm on a Friday and I was starving. It was one of those nights where I didn't want anything from a Drive-Thru. After an exhaustive search yielding nothing but Dine-In options that closed at 9p or 10p I stumbled across The Brass Tap (TBT) via someone else's review and decided to head over. The location was only 2 miles from where I was and closer at 11p. Can you say excited! LoL... Arriving, the location sits directly in the main strip and was super easy to find. There is a parking lot in back which made the find even better. The outside was very quiet which had me scared that maybe the hours shown online were wrong. However, I got to the door and it opened. LoL Upon walking in, the energy was super high. The establishment was vibrant and well lit. There was no hostess stand so we figured it was a self seating setup. We chose a booth near the window and had a seat. Upon sitting down, the menus were already on the table so we picked them up and started to plan. Our waiter arrived at the table promptly and welcomed us in. Upon welcoming us, he advised that as it was 10pm, they were on their late night menu. Of course the night I want a burger, it's not on the late night menu. LoL. As the late night menu has very few offerings, I went with a classic chicken tender basket. Our waiter recapped our order, advised it would be a few minutes and departed. When he said a few minutes, he wasn't lying. It seemed like it wasn't even 10 minutes later and he was back. WooHoo! The chicken tenders were the perfect size for the price. They were fresh and perfectly done. They had a crunchy outside with a perfect center. The meat was moist and flavorful. The coating was well seasoned and kept its crunch throughout the whole tender. The fries were the bombbbbbbbb. LoL. I tore them fries up. They were crunchy on the outside yet still the consistency of a baked potato on the inside. I'm talking about French Fry Perfection. The night was smooth. We were in and out within 40 minutes. We were looking for a sports bar and wanted to venture out where we don't usually go and found this on Yelp! Located super close to the airport and there were a few hotels around, so super convenient for those people staying there. Tons of free parking behind the building that they do share with 3 other businesses. Their outdoor area was closed but I'm sure they open it up on a busy night. We seated ourselves at the bar. Service was good, except for towards the end when we were ready to pay. Hubby got a few drinks and for food, we shared 10 piece wings, buffalo cauliflower and cookies with ice cream for dessert. The wings were nicely fried and piping hot - got both lemon pepper and Korean bbq. The buffalo cauliflower was underwhelming - literally fried cauliflower tossed in buffalo sauce. For some reason I was thinking it would be coated like tempura style. The cookie with ice cream was pretty good, kind of dry but the best part was the middle where it was still gooey. Our bill ended up being around $70, so it's not terrible. Good place for drinks and vibes, but found their food to be mediocre. read more

Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences I have had. I ordered a Woodford Old Fashioned. It was so sweet, I could not even drink it. The chicken nachos were not good either. I did not realize this was a chain. I have been to the one in Reno and didn't care much for that one either. Maybe it is just me, but I am not a fan. I came across the spot due to Facebook advertising. Every time I will go on my page this restaurant will pop up in my feed. Normally I keep scrolling when I see advertisements but this one caught my eye because it said Hapeville. Since I decided to purposefully interact with more people and be more social I have been restaurant hopping lately. Why not do it in my own backyard? The perfect time was yesterday, a late Saturday evening. So me and my girlfriend we could ride over and had some drinks and some food. I like the set up although most of the seating is high top tables. They have an outdoor section as well. The place was full of people but not crowded. Everybody had beer, shots and drinks. Some had food. We ordered: WING BASKET - 15 8 wings, fries, celery & dipping sauce. I got the boom boom sauce on these. They were piping hot, perfectly crispy and oh so good with blue cheese dressing. They were good sized wings. Perfect! No celery was included. BRUSSELS SPROUTS - 10 Baked & tossed in garlic butter with fire roasted red peppers. This dish was disappointing and the one that I looked forward to the most. I will try anybody's brussel sprouts if it's on the menu. It came in this nice cast iron skillet but it was not cooked in the skillet. In fact the skillet was room temperature. The brussel sprouts were dry, tasteless, not cooked well. They have a chart on them but they were on the raw side. They also didn't have any taste which was disappointing. Where was the garlic butter there was none and there was no sauce in the pan either. TRIO - 11 Salsa, house-made guacamole & white queso. This appetizer was a delight because the chips were sprinkled with some kind of spice which was good. The guacamole had salsa verde in it. The queso and the salsa was also pretty good. FRIED SHRIMP - 15.25 Cocktail sauce with coleslaw & crinkle-cut fries My friend ordered this and she said it was good. The shrimp were a nice size. QUESO - 9 Creamy white cheddar cheese, ground green chilies, onion, garlic & fresh jalapeños Drinks THE WEEKENDER - 11 Tito's® Handmade Vodka, sour apple & peach liqueurs, cranberry & orange juices. If you are not careful you will guzzle this down quickly because it's just that good. The vodka is so smooth. RASPBERRY LEMON DROP MARTINI - 11.5 Tito's® Handmade Vodka, house-made simple syrup, raspberry liqueur, fresh lemon juice, served up with a sugared rim. Loved my drink but it there was no sugar on the rim. I enjoyed my time here at the spot and will be returning. The next time I will be getting a burger though and more drinks. They make very good drinks. There were a lot of local folks there just having drinks either solo or in a group giving. It's a nice addition to the trip city area of Hapeville, College Park and East Point. Also our server Paris was very attentive, knowledgeable and very sweet. She was on top of everything. read more

Pretty solid neighborhood bar that's worth the visit. We don't have much down here in Hapeville like this so it's a nice place to have, I'm not sure why it took so long for me to get in here but glad I did. It's a nice sized bar with plenty of TVs for the game, a huge beer menu and full bar for everything else. And the food? Actually really good. The bang bang shrimp was a suprise, very crunchy and delicious - I'd go back for that alone. And the blackberry gourmet grilled cheese, also really good. The burgers are just burgers, but they go well with the drinks. All in all, it's a chill spot. Nothing to fancy, nothing to complex. Cool vibe + Great food = Cool spot! Brass Tap opened its doors in Hapeville and was on my bucket list. I finally walked through those doors for Friday lunch with a friend. Plenty of free parking in the surface lot located behind the restaurant. Castro delivered good service. She seemed to be the only waitress and others helped with serving the food. Based on Castro's recommendations I got the shrimp basket (crinkle fries and coleslaw included) and my friend got the chicken nachos). I enjoyed my meal and my empty basket was proof...lol. It was a little noisy, but plenty of space to sit. Even though service was a little slow (I think they were understaffed), our waitress was awesome and had lot of recommendations, especially on the drink menu. I loved how many craft beers they had on tap! I had a local lager which was refreshing. My friends tried their cocktails which were also super strong and delicious! For dinner, I had a Creole burger with brussel sprouts as my side. The buger itself was pretty average for a burger and I didn't taste the Creole seasoning too much. Stopped in for a beer. Tried a couple samples. The first was their Back Forty Truck Stop Honey Brown...I love a good brown, but this wasn't one of them. I settled on their Arches Mexican Empire Vienna Lager which was sorta like a Corona. It was good enough that I had a second one. At $8 a 16 oz draft, pricey. But again, rising prices are everywhere. I looked over their food menu but didn't try anything. But definitely saw a few items that I wouldn't mind trying on another visit. They have several big screens throughout the place. So if you're looking to down a few brews while watching your team, this would be a good choice for you. read more

Came by to watch some football since down the street at Dave's Sports-bar wasn't playing the sound of the game and I am glad we did! The fried macaroni and cheese balls were cheesy and gooey! Must try! The fish and chips were well seasoned but you only get two pieces. They were thick so two was actually plenty! The chicken tenders were flavorful as well and the tots were average. First time going to TBT. Very busy night as the GA/BAMA game was in full effect. The crowd was fun to watch. Unfortunately, there seemed to be only one server. She managed as best she could. The menu was limited to only grill items as they have been without some part for their vent fan for almost a week. GIRLS DAY OUT TO LUNCH! My lunch companion and I were very excited to dine here as its only been open a few weeks. The food was good, I ordered the Chicken Club Wrap, with Applewood bacon, in a flour tortilla. I ordered sweet potato fries which I really enjoyed and Brussel Sprouts. My lunch companion ordered the Blackened Cod Tacos which came with two delicious tacos, and tater tots. She enjoyed her meal as well. Now although the food was great the service on the other hand was not as great as the food. After we were seated PARIS came over to take our drink orders, we gave her the food order as well, all at one time. Our food finally came out no drinks and no silverware. It was a while before she came back to the table. We ordered Dessert which was Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie & Ice Cream. Another server who was friendly brought out our desserts. The lava cookie was a little over cooked otherwise not bad overall. The ladies bathroom was clean as a whistle. We loved that. Our waitress, Tiffany, was absolutely exceptional--super friendly, attentive, and on point with everything from drinks to food timing. She really made us feel welcome and taken care of. I've been here twice so far, once during happy hour and another time during Saturday Night College Football. Both experiences were great. Service has been consistent and excellent, food always comes out hot and honestly if there has been any issues that arise my servers have always addressed them to my satisfaction. Drinks are pretty decent. I've also had the strawberry mule . I wish they added just a tad bit more alcohol in my Mules on my last visit. My server Matt was really Pleasant and helpful. Pretzels, bang bang shrimp, lemon pepper wings fried crispy and crinkle fries were all to my satisfaction. The 2 times I've gone was mid afternoon so the Delta employees are in for lunch.. you can seat yourself... walking in its a covered "Patio" area with tables and Tvs. Then you walk into the main dining area plenty of high top and regular tables.. sorry no booths. the bar was clear so there I headed. Greeted by Lexi.. she is AWESOME.. She made that Spicy Margarita GUUUUD!!! I usually have a beer after a cocktail.. but not that day. They have many craft beers on draft I was able to try a few stouts. The first time I went I had a burger and fries it was good. I saw on a old menu they use to have sweet potato fries.. please bring them back. I I think the menu changes like some places change with the seasons. The second time I went... to the bar. I got me a good stout.. something Moneybags, lol. I got the pork quesadillas.. with the sour cream, pickled onions tomato lettuce and barbecue sauce on the side. Review for The Brass Tap I went to The Brass Tap with my wife for cocktails and a quick bite, but unfortunately, our experience was terrible. We ordered drinks and an appetizer of pretzel bites. The bartender took our order, and a worker brought out our food. What happened next was shocking. As he approached our table, we noticed him chewing heavily--then he placed our open plate of food in front of us. It really seemed like he had helped himself to some of our pretzel bites on his way from the kitchen. This was beyond awkward and completely unacceptable. How can a restaurant allow an employee to eat while serving, let alone possibly eat off a customer's plate? This level of unprofessionalism is disgusting and completely ruined our visit. We won't be coming back, and we certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more
