I was really excited to visit this location after seeing a few videos and reviews. However, first it's kind of confusing because they have a valet person, but there's no clearly marked sign that says that you need to do ballet so he comes over to where we park and gave a valet ticket saying that the Hapeville police like to see a valet ticket. It was weird because when we left, he follows out the restaurant asking if we had a good time and then shared his cash app for a tip- but we never use the valet and a few people did. I recommend them having clear signage because we had to drive around to even see that there was a valet. The service was terrible, which is what took down the stars so much. It's frustrating when places have automatic gratuity when the service is not good. I am a very generous tipper however, I get frustrated when I'm forced to tip for bad service. She took about five minutes to even come over for us to even know that you were supposed to go online to get the menu. There's no QR code at the table to at least let guests know that they use that to view the menu. The crab dip was pretty good but they give like 5 small pieces of crostini and I when I asked for more it took like 20 minutes and there was an extra charge. The stuffed salmon was more so just topping and the piece of salmon was very small for the price. The drinks were expensive ($18) in comparison to the lack of liquor, it was very sugary and sweet. I felt frustrated by how slow the service was (I could see her on her phone or behind the bar chatting with colleagues) and she barely checked on us. I was so excited to try this place but never again. They have a lot of work to do to enhance the customer experience and value.

I really had high hopes for this place, but it was unorganized and the customer was horrendous. Why does it take 30 minutes for me to get my first beverage? I literally asked a server to take my order. We had to move tables because random people kept sitting at our table. The food came out cold and we asked for our water 4x and never received it. The place is aesthetically appealing but that staff is either understaffed or seriously underperforming for guaranteed gratuity. ALSO, PLEASE FIX YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR.. Saturday Night 2.21.26

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant yesterday. I went down there happy hour with one of my friends and we had a great time. It was very affordable. They have such a variety of meals in our server was amazing. They were servers that also came by our table to ensure that our experience was loved, the ambience is very Atl style and I love it. I will definitely be back again.

Happy Hour! Food was so good. Had the Stuffed Salmon and egg rolls. So good. My mom and I indulged in the happy hour margaritas and lemon drops. Clean ambiance, nice music and fast service. CeCe was great!

This is a very decent neighborhood spot. I've been a couple times, once for drinks & once for happy hour. They have a good happy hour menu. The drinks are reasonable. The food is very tasty, but the HH choices are small portions. My service was pretty good both times. They do have music playing but it's not unbearably loud. You have to park across the street in a store parking lot, but it hasn't been an issue. I'd come back to grab a drink and chill.

Convo restaurant and lounge is a small bar type deal with outside seating and heat lamps outside. You can smoke out there too if you want. The staff was nice. The drink that I had was good but nothing to rave about. My favorite thing about Convo is the music since I did not get a chance to try any food, but it is a cool lightweight vibe For Hapeville

If you're looking for a place to kill some time prior to a flight out of Atlanta, here's a hidden gem you wouldn't want to miss. It has a lounge atmosphere and if you're into hookahs, they're available as well. The service was quick and efficient. The hostess (who's from Detroit) and server were super sweet and provided us with great recommendations. The food was plentiful and delicious. I couldn't eat it all at once. Lastly, I recommend this establishment as a quaint date spot for a date night due to the seating arrangements and there wasn't a lot of noise. My date and I actually watched the Nuggets buzzer-ending game which provided a great ending to our first date. We'll be back!

This was my first time at Convo; it was a slow Monday night. They told us to sit wherever we wanted. Our server came right out to take our orders. She was very pleasant. They were out of some of the starter menu items that we wanted so we got the deviled eggs, The Georgia Grown, and the Stuffed Salmon. The deviled eggs were not all that. The shrimp on the salmon looked like it was barely cooked. When we mentioned it to our server, she said she would let the cook know and have him re-cook them. The Georgia grown was alright. All in all the service was good, but the food was not.

Went here during the week. Nice little spot. Drinks were good and so were the appetizers. We got the hookah and wine combo. I had the crab dip which was amazing. The waiter was also so kind and helpful

I rarely leave reviews, but my recent visit to Convo Lounge was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, the service was noticeably slow despite being a slow night with not many people there . We ordered drinks that didn't arrive until after 20-30 mins. The waitress gave us shots of house liquor to accommodate. I ordered the pasta, wasn't told until 15 minutes later that the were out of the pasta. So ordered the salmon. When our food arrived, my pate was noticeably cold make matters worse, our waitress waited until after we ordered to inform us that the kitchen had closed at 10pm--something that should've been communicated upfront, since she was aware this was our first time visiting the establishment. When the tab arrived, the total was $63. I paid and left a $7 tip, bringing the total to $70. A notification from my Apple Wallet confirmed this amount. However, the next day, I checked my bank account and was shocked to see the charge had ballooned to $179. Apparently, the system registered a $100 tip--something I absolutely did not authorize. I contacted the restaurant immediately. They claimed their records showed a $63 tip, which made no sense. I then reached out to CashApp, who confirmed the charge was initially $70 and later updated to $179, reflecting a $100 tip. After multiple calls and follow-ups, I finally spoke with the manager, who assured me I'd be refunded the $63 tip discrepancy. But despite these promises, I've had to initiate every single contact. No one has followed up with me proactively. This experience was not only disappointing in terms of food and service--it also left me feeling misled and financially taken advantage of. I hope this review serves as a caution to others. If you choose to dine here, double-check your receipts and monitor your transactions closely.

    Salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus

I ordered from Convo Restaurant in Hapeville, GA through Uber Eats and was extremely disappointed. I was charged $8 for asparagus and received only four pieces, all of which were burnt beyond enjoyment. Completely unacceptable for the price. I specifically requested my salmon to be well done, yet it arrived sitting in its own juices, giving it a soggy, unappetizing texture instead of being properly cooked. The whipped mashed potatoes were cold and watery, lacking both flavor and consistency. What's most frustrating is that when you dine in the restaurant, the presentation and quality are much better. Unfortunately, it seems that when it comes to delivery orders, the same care is not given. The food I received looked thrown together with no attention to quality or presentation. If you're planning to visit Convo, I'd recommend eating in person only. Based on this experience, ordering delivery is a waste of money and not reflective of what the restaurant is capable of.

CHECKIN - UPDATE: Well here's the outcome of my 2nd experience...my friend & I thought we would enjoy getting out for Mother's Day by enjoying brunch. I arrived 1st and then my girlfriend joined me, we ordered & share a margarita flight. They give you more juice than expected so, I ordered Ciroc to make another drink so, it would not go to waste. Service started off good but, it took a slow left turn for my girlfriend. We were chatting, sipping & ordered afterwards....long story short... My food came, her's took a very long time and upon the server checking on us...we seen her coming & said, you not bringing us bad news. She said, "No, your food should be right up." We waited about 20mins later and this is when she came back to inform my girlfriend that they rain out of the salmon for the salmon croquettes dish. My girl was very bothered because, how long we were waiting and esp., cause I had ate my food and she still hadn't ate. Long story short...our server must of told management she no longer wanted to serve our table. Then a manager came over to our table, my girl ended up complaining to not 1 server, not 2 Managers but, also a 4th person. I tried to de-escalate the situation but, my friend was very hungry & upset. At any rate...I tried to calm the situation by jumping in a time or 2 but, I felt BOTH sides so I seen where both sides went sideways. However, what I did NOT LIKE...was the UNPROFESSIONALISM I witness and walked up on when I walked upto 3 of the 4 staff members who were having a discussion ON THE FLOOR of the restaurant talking about my friend/what had occured. As an YELP Elite, I seen this as messy hearing them gossip about this. Conversing about this should have been discussed OFF TGE FLOOR & behind closed doors however, while I'm waiting for my receipt...I approached these 3 ladies and heard them. This was not a situation I had even encountered so, I just grabbed the girl who told me she would bring my receipt and got my receipt and he headed out. I can't say I will ever return to patronize this business even after they tried to recover the situation because, I feel this business has some kinks to work out and staff needs to keep drama off the restaurant floor. If we were not ladies, I could have seen this playing out differently like on some of the crazy situations seen on social media but, we not like that. Wishing your business success but, please work out these flaws asap! FYI: They sell hookah so, if you do not like others customers blowing smoke toward your table...this place is small so, smoke may make its way into your face. RECOMMENDATION: I think hookahs should only be allowed outside on patio. Not inside the left side of restaurant.

This was another bucket list restaurant and I was very pleased. The atmosphere was really quaint and cute, definitely an intimate spot for conversing, whether you're on a date or with friends. The food was delicious. I tried the egg rolls, which were nice and crispy. I also had the crab stuffed salmon, and it was really good. The mashed potatoes, loved. I could do without the sweet sauce, but other than that amazing. The service was efficient and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely go back to try more items on the menu, and vibe out. Thank you for a great experience.

If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food, strong drinks, good hookah, and outstanding…read moreservice, ATL Hookah Lounge in Hapeville is definitely worth checking out! It came highly recommended, so my friend and I decided to stop by on a Thursday night, and I'm so glad we did. We started at the bar, where our bartender, Tay, immediately made us feel welcome. She was attentive, personable, funny, and had excellent customer service. We kicked things off with lemon drops, and let me tell you... they were delicious! Strong, smooth, and made just right. As the evening went on, our party grew from two to six, so we grabbed a table. To our surprise, Tay transitioned from bartender to waitress, and somehow her service got even better. She never missed a beat. Since it was happy hour, we sampled several menu items, including the honey lemon pepper wings and fries, fried shrimp and fries, salmon bites and fries, fried green tomatoes, and the cornbread. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. There wasn't one item we regretted trying. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering a hookah, and it was hitting! Smooth, flavorful, and lasted throughout the night. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. It wasn't overly packed, but it had a nice crowd with great energy. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. They have two bars, plenty of seating, and even an outdoor patio area if you want a little fresh air or a more private space. Parking was free and conveniently located on-site, which is always a plus. The bathrooms were also worth mentioning--small, nicely decorated, and very clean. The prices were another pleasant surprise. Happy hour food ranged around $8-$10, hookah was about $20, and the drinks were around $8. Great food, quality drinks, and hookah without breaking the bank? That's a win. I was told Wednesday has even better specials, but Thursday definitely didn't disappoint. Overall, ATL Hookah Lounge exceeded my expectations. Between the amazing service from Tay, delicious food, strong drinks, great hookah, mature crowd, and affordable prices, this place earned every bit of its 5 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely be back!

You're sitting up on the 8th or 9th floor with an amazing vantage point of the runway, so if you love a good view, this place has that in spades. Noise can be a big factor here though--if you're sensitive to it, this spot probably isn't for you. Between the cars and planes, it's definitely not a quiet, intimate experience. The sunset was definitely the cherry on top, giving the whole place a magical touch as the day winds down. We parked behind the building and a woman who worked there had the door open. She had on a shirt that read Legalize being Black. My husband had on a Black Lives Matter shirt, & I had on a Juneteenth shirt. She smiled and raised her fist at us as we asked to enter through the door and we responded in kind. I love us! She toke U.S. to grab a menu as we walked in to the right of the bar. We found a high top and found what we wanted and went to the counter to order. The prices are reasonable until you get to adding the sides. I overheard another worker tell a couple who ordered after us to order the veggie plate if they were getting 4 sides as it was cheaper. I wish the person who took our order had told use that. The entrees are à la carte and priced reasonably. The sides are $5 each with a few exceptions, a hoecake is $2 and mac & cheese and a couple other sides are $6. Keep that in mind when you come. Our total for our inside dining with a can of ginger ale, fountain Diet Coke, & tip was like $70+ & the to go order for our son's meal w/o a drink was ~$30. It's definitely a good value if you only need an entree and have sides already. The food is good and has large pieces of meat & decent portions so there you go... I ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter, smoked beef brisket with the barbecue sauce on the side, smoked turkey cabbage, dressing, & the lemon pound cake. Ironically, the fried green tomatoes came out last. They were piping hot though. They could've used a dash of salt but that cornmeal batter was perfection on the tomatoes. You get 3 and 1 was cut a little too thick and it was slightly mushy maybe cause it had to cook longer? But it was still good. The beef brisket was good. It's sliced thin and had that good smoke flavor and was seasoned well. The thicker slices could've been a bit more tender but overall it could rival some barbecue joints. The dressing was good and so was the cabbage, though it was almost tad bit saltier than I'd like. I'd order everything I had again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my food. You know not everyone who claims to cook southern food can do so. Oh the pound cake was good and moist. It reminds me of Sammy Chhesecake pound cake. My husband ordered the 3 pieces of fried chicken, collard greens & they do have a lil kick as the menu suggests, green beans, & yellow rice. He was pleasantly surprised with how big the pieces of chicken were. Nowadays people give you what looks like pigeon parts ‍. He said it was a tad salty. He said he also enjoyed his meal otherwise. I forgot to get pictures of the food for our son's takeout order of fried pork chops, collard greens, mac & cheese, & a hoecake. He liked his food as well but also said his pork chops, which were nice size center cut, were well seasoned, but a little too much. He enjoyed the meal and his 1st hoecake. They also do catering and seemed to have a large catering order being prepared to go out. The restaurant & woman's restroom was clean. The staff were friendly and quickly acknowledged us. The music was good but it would've been good to hear a mix of old school with the hip hop since it was Juneteenth. They have a full bar. The only thing I didn't like was Fox News & another conservative news channel on; at least not on JuneteenthZ a generic movie or TV show would've been better for me anyway. They had a steady stream of to go orders and in person dining. I guess we're just late to know about

I brought in some fans when the air was out a couple of days ago. Let me preface by saying that I did this to help my friends. I didn't want anyone to have to work in ridiculous heat. I brought two small fans and one large. I got my two small fans yesterday, no problem at all. I came in tonight and Yanna (who I have always been cool and amicable with, for quite a while), acted like my last fan wasn't available and it was somehow stolen, though I had seen it hanging over the staircase the night before. It would simply be ok with me to get my property back. It's shameful that any of this turned out the way it did. I'm literally one of the quietest and nicest people that anyone ever deals with. I did not have any kind of negative interaction, but was treated as if I was being a nuisance and causing a problem. I am always kind and calm, I never have any issue with any server or bartender. It really disappoints me because I've always been a kind guest, and have always been treated well. But I think my time with Chairs is now done. It sucks, because all of my interactions with everyone leading to this moment has been really great. Jess, Cay, Ike, Nigel, Major, Kelly. Everyone until one stupid night with one stupid fan. I was not at all forceful, just inquisitive. I really feel like Yanna didn't have an answer for a very soft question and instead of looking into it, turned me into a villain, using Jess as a stopgap in order to avoid dealing with a very simple situation that could have just been dealt with by either giving my fan back, or the owner spending fifty bucks on a fan of the same caliber and writing it off as a business expense. This is all very sad. I enjoyed being at chairs. I'm done.

I discovered this place after attending an art show near by. The inside doesn't smell the freshest…read moreso we sat on the patio. The food was good and our server did a good job taking care of us. I enjoyed the patty melt with sweet potato tots and a small order of brisket nachos
