Visited 939 and it was kinda different from a year ago. First off I went in and got a Red Bull at the bar because I don't drink. Went to sit and peep the scene and the bottle girls kept coming to me asking if I was ok and needed a drink. Now I'm all for hospitality but it was so annoying to the point where they were coming like every 5 minutes. The girls that are there now are just there to hustle & are super pushy and rude, so if you're expecting "extras" good luck. Also don't fall for the champagne room trick. They let you believe you'll get lucky so you'll pay $500 for a bottle and room only for them to just dance for like 15 minutes and then tell you they tired and sit down the rest of the time pretending to be interested in you. ***reposting my review, since I deleted it the other day... l've only had good service or encounters with half the people that work here. First of all, a waitress named Layla cannot be trusted. When I got there the other night, she charged me $8 for a Bud light. The next couple times, I only got charged $7. On top of that, I ordered a drink for a dancer that was sitting with me, paid for it, and she said I'll be right back. She did not give me my change, nor did she come back right away. She did this twice! I was quite irritated, and when I confronted her about it, she claims that she asked if I needed the change and claims that I said no, which is a bunch of BS. She legit tried to keep $20, which I got got back. I would not have gotten this back if I had not confronted her about it. After she gave it back, she just stood there, as if she was waiting for a tip. I mean why would I tip her when she pretty much tried to steal my money. Try to avoid having Layla serve you if you can. Another waitress (I didn't get her name) didn't even introduce herself or take any drink orders from me just comes up to me and straight up asks me if I wanted to buy her a shot. I straight up told her "no", then she walked away all pissed off with an attitude. Like I said, I dunno what her name was, but she had black lipstick, a wannabe Ariana Grande ponytail, and a crappy attitude. The only people I've talked to or encountered that give off positive vibes here are bartenders Alli and Chanelle, Atari, Iris, Winter, China, and Des. My girls brought me here for my birthday since I've never been to a strip club. We got to the bar and the water was way more expensive then our alcoholic beverage! That was a rip off. We sat up by the stage, and I really liked how the poles were high. But as I looked at the ceiling you could tell that the building needs some remodeling. There were cracks on the ceiling and the paint job needs a retouch. The girls itself were not as friendly as I expected. They all carried around bags, which I assume is their stash of cash. They didn't really smile much. There are like 4 stages, but only one stage was being used the whole time we were there. It was around 12am this time. Also when they danced they stay mainly by the other guys, and didn't really interact with us girls. It was honestly not as fun as I expected. When my husband had received an invite for a party 939 had been hosting, he decided he'd corral whoever he could to go with him (including moi). So our little ragtag group arrive a little after 9:00 PM, where there is already a steady and gradually growing line of patrons out the door. The line, however, moves fairly quickly, and we come to realize that the holdup is mainly due to security checks and cover charges, but after that, it's smooth sailing. The interior of 939 hosts three stages in succession of one another right in the middle of the floor, with about eight or so private booths on either side that come with bottle service. The bar is also heavily stocked with all the tried and true favorites as well as bottled beers and I believe sparkling hard seltzers (think along the lines of White Claw). In any case, despite being "early," the dancers had already begun their routines and we were quick to snag some chairs near one of the stages to have front row access. I think what makes 939 so great is that despite being a strip club, the atmosphere is very low-key and the dancers are all quite talented and better yet, friendly as hell. One in particular, Skye, caught our attention, and she was sweet enough to introduce herself after her routine and give my husband a lap dance or two. However, Skye wasn't an anomaly, as the other dancers were just as friendly, if not more so. There was one dancer near the end of our visit that actually thanked my husband for buying his friends several lap dances. Overall, if you're looking to venture out to a strip club, I would definitely recommend Club 939. Not only are the women beautiful (and a diverse group as well), but their routines will seriously leave you shook. I keep pestering my husband for a follow-up visit, but alas, I was too excited about making it rain that I ran through too many Washingtons and need a "time-out."
