I love taking the restore class here. I haven't tried any other classes but the instructors are so knowledgeable and kind to really teach you the proper techniques. I have been to Paula and Ksenia's restore classes and I both loved it when I went both times. I love tat the instructors are so gentle and kind to teach you instead of intimidate you. Apple Maps led me to the wrong place! For some reason me and a few other folks were having trouble finding the studio... Once we found other people with yoga mats, that was our beacon of hope. I came here for an autumn solstice soundbath and it was incredible! The instructor was very friendly and answered some questions that I had after class, and was very knowledgeable of the practice. My friend and I were so calm during the session that we almost fell asleep. This location was also quite tidy, but had just ran out of disinfectant wipes for my mat. Bummer. Love this studio!! I've been a member for about a year. I absolutely love the variety of classes offered here. Whether you're totally new to yoga or looking for a challenging workout class, you'll find the perfect class to join! All instructors have their own style but they never fail in being mindful of people's capabilities and offer adjustments. They also do their best to bring a no-judgement and welcoming space. The studio is clean and includes a lot of yoga props. This studio is more than just a yoga studio. They host community events such as book club, kids yoga and specialty classes featuring sound baths. Avoid this place. They only care about taking your money and disappear when you need help. The classes are so crowded you can't even extend your arms without hitting someone. They charge fees for everything, the customer service is basically non-existent, and the front desk can't resolve anything because they say everything has to go through the owner or manager, who never returns calls. read more

(0/10 if possible) I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years and have never had such an unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience as I did at YogaSix in Porter Ranch. Earlier this week, Bridget from the studio kindly reached out to offer me a free class credit. She even helped sign me up over the phone and confirmed that my girlfriend could join with the $10 intro rate. Everything seemed clear and professional--until we arrived. From the start, the owner, Usman, was abrasive, confrontational, and dismissive. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, he seemed intent on picking a fight. He repeatedly questioned whether it was my first class despite my clear explanation. He then insisted on a mandatory photo for "security," which I complied with, and charged me $3 for a mat in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and condescending. I complied without resistance and simply said, "okay". Prior to and after class, he hovered over me, repeatedly demanding how I planned to pay--despite my explaining multiple times that Bridget had confirmed the class credit. He questioned my relationship with her, implying she shouldn't have honored the offer. At that point, the entire experience felt harassing and hostile. I ultimately told him to remove my card on file because I would never be returning. He refused, saying he "didn't have access," which is concerning given he said had no access to do that. On the call the next day, the staff told me he was the owner. Yoga should be a safe, respectful, and uplifting practice. This was the complete opposite. I would strongly recommend avoiding this studio if you value professionalism, customer service, and a positive environment. read more

I cancelled 6 days before my monthly renewal date - they charged me for 2 more months - they say they need 30 days notice- but they still charge you two more times - And-- the room is so small and they really pack you in like sardines Customer service is only good when you sign up - trust me negative vibes in this place!! read more

The male owner was completely unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. Also, we did an intro class and he insisted we take a photo which I do not consent, if no photo given you may not attend a class. I find that very disturbing. I also was informed of a lot of petty theft at that location (from owner) therefore they insist on a photo of you. I guess i dodged a bullet. read more

I'm a runner and unfortunately, injured my hip flexor in my latest race, pt recommended yoga so I signed up for class pass to try a few studios in Porter Ranch/Northridge and not simply go with the "closest"--I did my research. HANDS DOWN YogaSix Porter Ranch is the best, cleanest, easiest to schedule classes, friendly staff, best vibes. Nikita at the front desk made my first official class (after try out) a memorable experience, she went above and beyond to squeeze me in last minute and so glad she did because I'm hooked! I have been a member here since before they opened and there are instructors here that are AMAZING. Unfortunately this has been overshadowed this year by so much turnover at the front desk. This studio is capable of finding phenomenal employees, however, they never seem to stay long. This year alone we have lost at least 3 front desk staff and a manager! Sadly I understand why. The owner Usman has been filling in since our manager left and he has killed all the positive vibes in the studio. There has been an immediate shift since he began showing up regularly. He is rude, aggressive, and makes people feel uncomfortable (as another review also stated). Many of the clients have become friends of mine and have mentioned that they don't know how much longer they can stay if he insists on working the front desk himself and I agree. I'm honestly considering opening up my own studio down the street to capture all of the business (and quality employees) he has driven away. I love the community but if people keep canceling their memberships, there will be no reason for me to continue to pay for a severe lack of customer service. read more

I've been a member since it opened and I've enjoyed their classes and have attended their numerous workshops such as soundbath, advance yoga postures, self defense, etc. All the instructors and front staff are knowledgable, attentive, and responsive to answering questions. Life Changing! Thank you so much YogaSix - Porter Ranch for improving my quality of life. After a series of events including having my 3rd child to getting rear-ended, that led to constant lower back pain, I tried EVERYTHING from going to a chiropractor, acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy and nothing helped... until I started YogaSix! Right before taking my first class, I was prescribed daily painkillers which I refused to take as I'm well aware of the adverse side effects it can cause. I took my first class at YogaSix on March 31st and have been going 4-5 times a week since then. My back pain is GONE... plus it's literally become my daily dose of therapy in more ways than one... physically, mentally, and spiritually. I truly think I'll never stop. I feel great... much more flexible, toned, and I feel like I can tackle any stresses that come up in life. The studio offers a variety of classes which are all great, but I normally do a weekly combination of Hot, Power, and Sculpt & Flow. The reception staff is so nice, the studio is clean, and the instructors I've had so far who are Jeri, Lariza, and Hector have been amazing. Highly recommend! read more

I've been coming here on and off since they opened and I absolutely love it. Everyone that works here is lovely and incredibly helpful! The community is welcoming. The space and studio are both kept immaculately clean. As far as classes go I've mostly stuck with slow flow and restores. My favorite instructors are Zenobia and Tom. Zenobias playlists are always (insert fire emoji). I have a couple of injuries and they always help modify, which is super important for me. Highly recommend! read more
