When this company first started, their equipment was very hard on your paint surfaces. Especially on the bumpers. The heavy rolling brushes would scratch and remove your paint. Since then, the brushes are no longer used and they actually do a great job in cleaning your vehicles. I like the fact that you can get as many washes that you need. A great deal for the price. Most car washes charge the same price for 1 wash that the Club charges for the whole month. read more

My vehicle (2025 Gand Highlander) was scratched badly during this car wash. The scratches were immediately visible the moment I exited the wash, running from the back door to the front door. I did exactly what you're supposed to do: * I notified the employee immediately * He came out, took photos, and documented everything * A claim was opened on the spot Sixteen days later, I received a denial email full of generic explanations about how their equipment "couldn't have caused" the damage -- despite the fact that the damage occurred inside their wash and was reported immediately. They waited over two weeks just to send a canned response and deny responsibility. Instead of standing behind their service, they chose to gaslight a customer with technical jargon and zero accountability. If you care about your paint, think twice before bringing your car here. With all the promoting this place does you would think they might live up to the quality and service a customer would expect but the couple times I have taken my vehicle in quality is not what I received. The first time my car came out actually looking worse than before it went through the wash. Certain parts of my vehicle didn't even get washed and the wax just left my car looking streaky. I paid for a pass so of course I went back hoping for something better but the second time around was no different. There were actually scratches on my car that were not there before the wash. If I learned anything from my experience here it's that you can't beat just getting a power washer and doing it yourself. Or going somewhere more hands on where the staff actually care. read more

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the people are really helpful getting you lined up to enter on the tracks and they prespray your car well. Other times they barely put effort into what they are doing. I've also had issues with the vacuums. 75% of the time they work well. But dang it when they don't have any suction or the end pieces fall off. I came by once, only to move multiple times to try to find a vacuum that worked. Finally I asked someone and got a reply of - oh that whole side is down for the next few hours. Really!!!!! No signs! No person directing or telling folks! There was sure enough of them doing nothing to help notify. Okay, now that I've relived that frustrating day lol overall they are okay. I do not appreciate the pressure sales! Rude employee and a General Manager who truly doesn't care about his customers. I sent the following email to CONTACT@CLUBCARWASH.COM and the General Manager Colton Nusbaum at cnusbaum@clubcarwash.com I never received a response to either email. Text of email follows: To whom it may concern, I visited your Bastrop Texas location on Wednesday, 12/11/24, at approximately 5pm. The employee at the entrance / payment area was exceptionally rude. The conversation went something like: Employee: Do you want to sign up for the Unlimited wash club? Me: No Employee: Why not? Me: I've been a member in the past and chose to discontinue the service. Employee: Why is that? Me: Because I chose to cancel it. Employee: Why is that? Me: I don't want to talk about it. Employee: Why is that? Me: How much for the Rookie car wash? --- Pause Employee: I thought you already knew. (Condescending tone.) Me: Do I have to leave or will you tell me how much the car wash is? --- Pause Me: Let me speak to your manager. We both walked to the office and was met by General Manager Colton Nusbaum. I explained the situation and that I just want a car wash and not a session of pressure sales for a service that I've already subscribed too and cancelled. That the employee was persistent and rude. Colton Nusbaum's response: He is just doing his job. Me: If you condone the harassment of your customers, then you (Colton) are the problem, and not him (the attendant). Club car wash management team should be absolutely embarrassed by there horrendous customer service and car wash facility at the Bastrop car wash. The 2 times I have visited the Bastrop car wash my truck has been filthy after washing like the truck wasn't washed. There will not be a third opportunity and I am providing a warning for he Bastrop community of deceptive practices at Club Car Wash On this last wash several of the wash brushes were not even spinning. They have 3 people washing vehicles by wand before you even go into the car wash. Either the equipment is constantly broke or your car wash simply does not work. Which is it? When I complained to the on-site kid Manager, who has no authority, the first thing came out of his mouth was NO REFUND! Company policy I was told. He wanted me to run my truck back through the wash. There were 13 cars in-line that he wanted me to get behind. I had already waited 20 minutes to get my truck through the first time. My response was why should I run it through the wash again since the wash did not clean the truck. Maybe I could spend the next couple of hours running it through the wash 3-5 more times to a point where it might be clean? When I reported the equipment was not working. The Kid shrugged his shoulders apologized saying the equipment is always broken and said sorry. Finally, an honest omission. Give that kid a raise for telling me the truth about Club Car Wash! When I called the corporate office they did not have a Manager that would talk to me. Another great company policy is not to talk to unhappy customers on-site or at corporate. So we recently completed our Austin to Miami and back road trip. Disney Yay, Universal Yay etc. Decided to send the car into the car wash because she deserves it. I bought the Elite wash on Saturday for $17, figured it needed the extras and tire shine would be nice. It had a lot more features than the next level down so we went for it. The boys liked the scrubbers and soaps as they splattered on the full glass roof of our car. They liked the scented soap, which, um, whatever, it smelled like bubblegum or something. Don't know why that's a feature but ok. After driving out we were on our way somewhere so we didn't use the vacuums. I noticed the car was still dirty (hood was streaky, windows looked barely touched by the scrubbing stuff) but I figured it was tough due to the roadtrip. Sunday coming out of church i noticed the wheels only looked shiny on parts of the tire. Only about half of the tires were shined, and one tire only had one spot shiny. Super wierd looking and i said I would go back to get it fixed. monday was a holiday so I went on Tuesday. The manager tells me its been to long, he knows Saturday their was a malfunction on the tire stuff, but he won't do anything about it. Bye Bye, Never coming back. My wife has a monthly subscription to this place too, so no more on that bill either! read more

Do NOT waste your money here! It does not clean! I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a tow hitch that does NOT have a ball mount. The car wash does NOT clean the rear of my car. I've never had a problem in the past until the wash mechanisms were replace! The tow hitch sticks out less than 1/4 inch from the bumper and staff said I had to remove the tow hitch..the hitch is welded to the car..come one people. The manager refused to run my car through the wash a second time. He didn't even have the guts or maturity to tell me to my face. He made the sweet young lady taking money tell me. Very BAD car wash design and very BAD Manager customer service/ or lack there of. This business lost a long time customer and future revenue! read more

We have used Club Car wash in Bastrop before it was Club and they took a brush to clean the windshield and back of car. Now that it's Club, the prices went up, they spray with water only before going through. We have noticed three times now that we pay for the elite package but when we go in it says we are getting the rookie (lowest package) or the VIP. I like the vacuums. When I get the package I paid for it cleans good. They just need to fix their computer system, or quit ripping people off. read more

I have a membership with the car wash. On June 9th I went through the Liberty Hill location and after exiting the tunnel realized that the car wash damaged my vehicle. June 10th I contacted the GM for this location and he assisted in helping submit the claim. Today (June 17th) I was contacted and told that they could see my vehicle entered the wash tunnel undamaged and when exiting the tunnel the dryers "blew off" my Ford emblem badge. I was told that there's no way the car wash could have caused this damage without "harming" other vehicles. My car is less than 2 years old. It does not have any pre existing damage. Club Car Wash is NOT taking responsibility for damaging my car! Honestly not shocking though. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Chipped my paint on my car. Not just a little bit but it's a big chunk. On top of that the wash itself was terrible and did not wash off my dirty car but somehow was able to take off the dang paint. I don't generally leave bad reviews even when warranted, but I feel like it is necessary this time. I wanted to have my car detailed, but my regular place was closed. So I decided to go to the Club Carwash on Hwy 71 in Bastrop (beside Texas Boot Company). First, I drove to where the attendants who take the money were standing and was treated to more attitude than was necessary because I had the nerve to ask questions. Then I paid $25 for the 'MVP' wash to basically drive my car thru an automated carwash that DID NOT clean my car. There were 2 attendants that sprayed my car with something that was supposed to loosen any bugs, etc. They literally rushed me past into the automated terminal. I wasn't allowed to stop in order for them to even spray my car effectively. Then, when I was thru the carwash, I pulled into a stall to dry and vacuum my car. My car was STILL filthy. So I used a few of the 'complimentary' towels to get as much dirt off as I could, and then I vacuumed my car. I was the last one there, and they were closing, so in my rush I left my passenger side floor mat hooked to the hanger. When I realized I had left it, I called customer service (who told me that the branches don't have landlines, so they would email them, and someone would call me back immediately). What?! That made absolutely no sense, but ok. TWO days later, there was still no callback, so I called again and was told the same thing. She ignored me completely when I said I was told the exact same thing TWO days ago, and maybe they don't truly understand what immediately means. AGAIN, no call back, so I drove 20 miles back to Club Carwash and went into the office (where I noticed 3 desk phones which would suggest they do in fact have a landline) and asked the guy if they picked up my mat. I was told they don't have a lost and found. Strange because Customer Service (I use that term lightly in this case because there is definitely NO customer service with this company) told me that every facility has a Lost and Found. Please, please, please DO NOT waste your money at Club Carwash...it is a joke and an entire waste of money! If Yelp didn't force me to leave at least 1 star, I would give this place a NEGATIVE 5 stars, and even that isn't low enough!!! read more

Shook her head when I asked for a receipt. She acted like I wanted her paycheck. What bothered me was the back of my car was left filthy. They raised the prices by almost half and didn't notify me AT ALL! Which is illegal! Then they charge $40 a month to shove you and a hundred other cars into the machine all at once, almost hitting the other car in front of you, then you don't get half the water, you barely get dry at the end and are left with spots all over your car! AND they rudely put a sign up saying "please tip your cleaners" which means they are cheating out on the pay to their workers showing how little effort those workers will end up putting into the prep of your car into the car wash or care to stock items when needed. This place has the worst customer service and yet they beg for tips with their giant "Tips are appreciated" sign. When we went through the first area to pay, the lady didn't even say anything. She just stared at us until we said what we wanted. Even though there wasn't a sign of options. I do feel ripped off when I leave because I have to rewash the front of my vehicle. They do spray something on it but car wash doesn't touch it. . Don't do it. Is it convenient? yes. Is it easy? yes. But the hoops they put you through when they damage your vehicle aren't worth it. They accepted responsibility for my damage but made get me 3 estimates because they didn't like the first 2, which were within $15 (yes that's a 1 and a 5) of each other. Repairs are still not authorized and the hoops to jump through continue. Save yourself the time and the headache and just don't go here!!!! read more

Very nice employees. I'm retired from the car wash industry and I must tell you where they are failing. They have too many cars going through hourly which means they sped up their chain. As a result our car does not spend enough time under the blower/dryer. So your car comes out too wet and that equals spots if you don't stop to dry it yourself. They also need to adjust their drying agent to coincide with the quick rush of cars chain. It might be ok if less cars were going through but since that's not the case it needs to be adjusted to go along with the minimal time under the blower. I really don't want to stop and do anything other than vacuum. Which by the way a few of those don't work and no sign's warning you they don't. I won't be returning. read more

For the very high price to get your car washed here, you would expect all of the soap to be rinsed off and for the spot free rinse to be at least clean water, but it isn't. I pulled into the vacuum area and dirty water was drying on the windows and body. My 7 inch black antenna got pulled off. Now I have no radio signals.$1,000.00 to repair. They won't pay anythihg because they have the "Not Responsible for Antennas posted ". They allow all the cars with the little black antenna to pass on into the wash . No warning picture of the possible damage to your car. So go through at your own risk ! read more
